Warning: I recently had a terrible experience with this store and the owner Grace. I ordered flowers for my engagement party and what I received wasn't even close to what I ordered. I was shocked when my mother went to pick them up and sent me a picture. They were NOTHING like what we discussed. Plus the store wanted an extra $90!!! My mother obviously refused to give them more money. I would never buy from them again and will have to go somewhere else for my wedding. To the women who was rude and nasty to me today, you should learn some manners and maybe take a class in customer service. The other reviews here are right, flowers are amazing here.. My reg florist didn't open as usual for some reason, and left me in a spot. Needed flowers for my Daughter's Graduation out in Long Island, and had to get on the road ASAP for traffic. Yelp! To the rescue! Stopped in, incredible bouquet after another to choose from. I was in, out in less than ten minutes with the best bouquet I saw all day at the ceremony for my Daughter!! Orchid lovers NEED to stop in, they had some amazing ones on the countertop! Ordered flowers from here because of the good reviews as an anniversary gift for my in laws. The flowers were falling dead within hours of delivery. First of all this tiny nothing arrangement was $86, when i specifically said I didn't want to spend more than $75 but associate blamed it on tax AFTER I saw my credit card statement. I also asked for calla Lilies and barely got any. Lastly the worst of it all when I called to complain about the flowers that clearly weren't fresh (they were completely dead the next day) they only would only give me a new arrangement if I brought the old ones in. They were a gift, yes let me definitely ask my mother to go to the store and return her flowers? Horrible service, horrible ugly flowers, what a rip off. They also hung up on me, beyond rude. I was looking for a quality florist in the area when I stumbled upon Rose Island for Mother's Day. I assumed that it would be just like any other florist in the area, but I was wrong. Rose Island is a family run business and Grace and John helped me a lot. I didn't know what I wanted in my bouquet of flowers. Grace helped me chose a nice selection of flowers that I know my mother will love. Even though Grace and John were swamped with other Mother's Day orders, they took their time in helping me. Compared to the other florists I've been too, they had a wide range of very fresh flowers to choose from. I am very impressed with the service that I received from them. Visited the store today looking for a flower arrangement. Didn't have enough time to look for another place so I didnt have a choice and had to buy something and leave. The lady that works there has a major attitude issue. She answers questions like she is doing you a favor. I asked her if she can open the door for me because the arangment is big and heavy its hard to hold it and open the door at the same time. She says just push it. Really? Is she a complete moron and don't understand that I am holding the arangment and my purse. Oh well never again. And she can't even wrap flowers to make it look nice. read more

didn't say anything when she told me her over priced price for a butterfly on a stick and I asked if she can sell me a piece of plastic. I was willing to pay whatever she was gonna tell me but she didn't want to sell me a damn piece of cellophane. They also make cheap flowers look fancy with how they put the bouquet together.
