I needed a manicure that required removing acrylic overlay. Tina is always very gentle with me. We mutually decided I would soak and rub them off because some of my nails had been broken far down. Got acrylics done last Friday and everyone was very nice but I'm pretty sure my nail tech was new. She cut me twice and everytime her boss walked by she would hide it. She got the acrylic on my skin and it still hurts now. Her boss came over to reshape it once because the shape was off and she just changed the shape back to the way it was before- overall, just didn't seem very professional. My boyfriend & I went there, and they cut both of us during the pedicure. My gel polish started chipping and lifting after a week. It was put on uneven and the mani pedi was just done poorly. First of all, I want to start by saying I am not a person to leave reviews, but I could not let this slide. Being a local business owner I'm passionate about supporting our community. That would explain my frustration how this business don't value quality customer service. I got my nails and pedicure done by Jenny. She wants to do what she wants to do to your nails and not what you ask for. I specifically said to her that I don't want my nails wide and thick. Her response..." I do them thick so you don't have to come back for a repair because I'm busy and don't have time to repair your nail". I told her that I'm paying for my service and I want what I want and if my nail breaks I don't mind coming back at her convenience. She argued with me for about 10 minutes about why she wanted to do MY nails the way she wanted to. Then she got up and left me sitting with half of my nails done. The owner when in back and spoke with her to convince her to finish my nails. So she rudely did my nails which was so uncomfortable because I knew she did really want to service me. This is the closest nail salon to my mom's house and we've been here several times. Most recently, my mom went for a pedicure a few days after being discharged from a long hospital stay when she underwent surgery. She was treated with care and concern and received a nice pedicure. She kept raving about how good she felt after the pedicure and foot spa. This weekend my mom treated me to a pedicure for my birthday while I was in town. We went early Friday afternoon and did not have to wait. The ladies remembered my mom, asked how she was doing, and complemented her on how well she looked now. Even though my mom didn't get a pedicure, she was allowed to sit in the chair next to mine so we could be closer to each other. The lady who gave me my pedicure was the same one who worked on my mom. She was very nice and made good small talk, but also let us do our own thing. She was also fast and efficient. I was happy with the results. I'm glad my mom has a place nearby that remembers her and can pamper her while she is progressing on her road to recovery. This is definitely my go-to nail salon whenever I'm in town. read more

Will definitely be back in a few weeks! 4 stars because they try to upsell you frequently and French manicure is very expensive. $60 for gel manicure and regular pedicure is too steep to me but I'll go back and pay the $30 for my gel manicure to see Jenny cause it looks amazing. read more

I've gone to my fair share of nail salons but Rose is definitely the best! At Rose you always know that your going to get good quality service. I've been to other salons that were hit or miss depending on who was working on you that day. All the girls at Rose are super friendly and are consistently good! They have the largest selection of gel and SNS colors I've seen and they are constantly getting new colors! Another thing that sets Rose apart is the fact that I've never had to wait! They always have a ton of staff running around so they can handle the demand. For these reasons I feel Rose is the best salon, they are consistently good quality, have an amazing selection, fast friendly service, and they aren't over priced! HIGHLY recommend! read more

My daughter and I have tried this place three times. First two visits were okay. Last one was awful. An older man did my sns nail service. I asked for a tip on my thumb nail. He "built" a fill in with sns application, filed my nails so hard that I had to pullback twice, actually cutting the skin under my nail, and I'm not sure what he did but my nails were bumpy and off color. read more

I got the deluxe mani/pedi. For $60 I thought it was a steal. First of all, they did my fingers and feet at the same time, which was awkward. The lady doing my pedicure literally left bruises along my shins due to the voracious massage. It was truly painful, and I had to ask her to stop. I became a little concerned when they placed the electric nail dryer on my lap, with the cord strewn across my legs just inches from the water, but I made sure to secure the cord to avoid electrocution. At no time did I ever feel relaxed, and to be honest one shouldn't have to work so hard to hold a dryer while being given separate instructions by the 2 nail techs and to what hand/foot to give them. I guess you really do get what you pay for. read more

I had a wonderful experience at Rose nails & skin care. These ladies were very busy today but they made sure I had a lovely visit. I started with a nice warm pedicure and a 30 minute chair massage. After my toes were dry and clean, I decided to get the paraffin wax for my feet and hands. I placed them in the little plastic bags that had the warm paraffin wax inside. The scent was lavender and then I placed my hands and feet in the warm mittens. While continuing my chair massage, I got a clean eyebrow wax and shape up. After 10 minutes of the paraffin wax, Jenny cleaned my hands and feet with hot towels and painted away. I chose a tropical blue color with a splash of glitter. As I checked out and paid for my services, I left Jenny a nice tip and she returned the favor with a customer appreciation card and 10% off service card. Thanks ladies you rock!! It was simply their smiles and laughter that made my day. (And not to mention the nice comments on how great my skin looks :) read more

This was my first visit to this nail salon and I must say they did an exceptional job. I made a reservation via phone(it probably wasn't necessary as it was a Monday afternoon). I was greeted when I walked in the door, picked out a color and proceeded to the pedicure massage chair. I got the deluxe pedicure($35) and it was well worth it. I have been here several times and every time has been displeased. The staff is extremely rude & even with an appointment, they act like you are a huge inconvenience to them. I had an appointment & had to wait 50 minutes, only to be treated as if they were doing me a favor by squeezing me in. They do a decent job, but they rush through it & dont pay attention to detail (adding to the feeling that you're an inconvenience) so I only come here if the other places I like better are full. I never go back. I walked in to make an appointment two days prior at ten o'clock in advance having a very busy schedule. I I arrived on time. Kim was doing someone's pedicure and told me 'she is running late' and asked if I could come at eleven or the next day ?? I told her. 'No'. She then agreed that I come in at eleven, which I did. At eleven she was doing someone's manicure. I waited until 11:15 and she still was not ready. Only was she not totally unprofessional but also very rude. I left. What was the point making an appointment if all the walk- ins have the first priority!! In case you want unprofessional and rude service and apparently greediness from part of this salon, go there. I would give it zero stars if I could. Only go here if you want the owner and the staff to insult you in Vietnamese while working on you. That happened to me. I am Vietnamese and speak the language fluently, but people don't expect it because I was raised in the USA and speak perfect English with no accent. The owner was saying very rude things about me that got progressively worse until I had enough and chewed her out. Everyone seemed shocked that I spoke Vietnamese and had heard everything. But, as I told the owner, speaking another language shouldn't be an excuse to treat your customers like crap. It takes very low class (or no class) to insult your clients while taking their money. This has been my nail salon of choice for years now. Their pricing is reasonable, but above all else- they take their time to do a wonderful job. I love going for their deluxe pedicures and they offer so many pedi-spa options. They tend to update their color selection often and have a vast array of SNS, gel and other nail polishes to choose from. The salon can get pretty busy, so it helps to call ahead and set an appointment. Even when I moved farther away from Rose Nails, I would drive out of my way to go to this nail salon above others. I tend to feel more satisfied with their service and quality of work than other places I've tried in the Charlotte area. read more
