My appointment was at 11. I wasn't started on until after 11:50. The dip service online says 1 hr, he got through my dip in less than 30 minutes. It felt very rushed and he did not take his time. I had to go back in and get bits of it detached from my finger because the polish was stuck on my skin. It looks fine enough but it's not great. Didn't get the man's name, just knew I wasn't coming back. Unsanitary area, he cut me in many spots and one got infected!!!!

I called a few months ago and was told a specific price. I rake my dip powder off at home and have my own colors. My nail tech was good. Monday March 13, 2923 had 1:00 appt with her, per her request to change my day from Thursday to Monday and change my time from 1:30 to 1:00 as she had to pick up her son. No big deal. I signed in for my appt, only to find out she left due to emergency. Fine..... no issue with that. Henry did my nails, charged me $10 more than what I was originally quoted, and had been charged all this time. Then he informs me that my nail tech does not work on Mondays. Ivy Nails lost a client and so did my regular nail tech. Your loss not mine, especially since I am a client and there are other salons to try. read more

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon at 12:20- didn't check out till almost 2pm! There was a bit of a wait as there were some other clients ahead of my mom and I. But the techs also didn't finish out nails in one sitting. Ben did my nails. I had dip powder on already and he did a good job removing it except he did drill into one of my natural nails and took a chunk out. They put on plastic gloves over top of the foil, I guess to cut down on the evaporation of the acetone. However, after sitting for around 30 minutes, the acetone was starting to burn my skin, so I had to take the gloves off. He put my nails on to soak and my mom's and then went to finish an entire gel manicure for a client behind us. Ben did a great job with the dip powder application and the final product turned out beautiful. Ben did stop after applying the dip powder to go remove polish from another client. I was okay with sitting to let me soak off to remove, but once you've started on one client, please finish. Kevin did my mom's dip powder. He did a good job. But disappeared once or twice in the middle of her manicure. Overall the experience was decent, but when we asked if the techs were having a good day, they both just shrugged and said they were tired and it was too busy-not something to share with a client. I had a horrible experience. I went in for a fill-in and a pedicure. My pedicure wasn't as great as it normally is I feel like the girl who did my pedicure rushed. When it came to my nails. I was passed around from chair to chair. I was then told I had SNS on my nails when I knew I had gel polish. The guy that serviced me said I have SNS and proceeded to tell me that he has to take my nails all the way off in order to do gel. I told him that I already had gel on my nails and he refused. He removed my whole set of nails and I didn't ask for that. I just wanted a full-in. I had gel polish. I feel like the guy DID NOT listen to me and did whatever he wanted. I am highly disappointed because I have been a customer for 2 years and this has never happened before. Time to find a new salon. read more

Ivy is a beautiful salon... and my positive comments end there. My mother and I went to get mani/pedis on a Saturday around lunch time and had an awful experience. The woman doing my pedicure seemed to be in a terrible rush, barely scrubbing my legs and hardly touching my feet with the callus shaver. There was no reason for her rush; it wasn't busy nor did they seem to be understaffed. She never asked if I wanted my nails cut, if I wanted to upgrade, nothing. It was as though we were an inconvenience. As we were sitting at the mani bar, I noticed that my feet were in nearly the same condition as when I arrived. My skin was rough and dry. The skin around my nails had not been trimmed. I could have done a better job at home, and I'm dreadful at doing nails. That's why I go to the professionals. When we were paying, my mother remarked that the polish on her manicure was already bubbling up. The young girl responded with a "hmm." Long story short, there are too many nail salons around to continue going anywhere for less than satisfactory service. Such a shame. read more

My daughters "go-to" salon. Her and my wife talk me in to pedicures and always enjoy. Staff is always so nice. While we were here, a lady became angry because she had to wait more than five minutes (I believe her name was Karen). Staff handled her great, but she ended leaving. Her loss and everybody's gain. This was my first time at Ivy Nails and my nails started lifting in the back with the SNS I got. I also noticed this green discoloration starting, which pushed me to soak my nails off. This place was beautiful inside, but that was all it had to offer. I went with my 6 year old for mani/pedis. We sat in the pedicure chairs for 25 minutes before anyone actually came over to us. The staff was all over the place. I had several different people start on me then walk away mid service. My pedicure wasn't awful, but it wasn't good and my polish is bubbling up and we only left 30 mins ago. My manicure was non existent. I got my cuticles pushed back and half of my nails filed before my lady realized that the guy who had down my pedicure didn't paint my toes, so she stopped and did that. Never finished my manicure. Didn't trim my cuticles. No hand massage, no lotion, and left scratch marks all in my nails. (I didn't want polish) When I checked out, the machine asked if I wanted to leave a tip, I clicked yes, but was never given the option for an amount before everything else was finished and the girl walked away. I'll be waiting for the charge to clear to know how much I left. read more

I have been going to Ivy nails for awhile. I enjoyed the conversation but on many occasions my nails were not done correctly or done as I asked.. Never know what you re going to pay prices always changing, they talk you into services because they are busy and can t take you at alloted appointment. For example designs on feet do not have to be gel yet they ll tell you it has to be gel charge extra to put on and take off. Location is convenient but not worth the inconsistentency in price everytime you go. They do nice nails here and there which is why I gave them 3 stars. Prices just went up also but not a surprise as price has fluctuated. read more

Got a deluxe pedicure today and it was amazing. I'm a hair stylist and I'm on my feet 50+ hours a week and they get dry and ache. This helped so much they took their time and do a quality job. Never had acrylics done here because I'm picky about that- but if you're looking for a good pedi in this area 100% recommend Ivy. read more

This was my first and last time at ivy nails. For one I was charged for a design they couldn't even do. They attempted a marble design that looks like a kindergartener drew on my girlfriends finger. Then they couldn't do the design I wanted and made comments because I had to pick a whole new color for my nail since the original picture they told me they could do they said they couldn't last minute. Then their entire demeanor changed and they were rude about me finding a color that would match with my previous colors. Overall terrible experience not only did they make me feel like a burden and rushed me but the end results was nothing I went in expecting. I will not be returning here. I'm aggravated that I had to even spend the money I did. Highly don't recommend. read more
