Been going to See Christie since my last tech just up and closed shop with zero notice. Was hesitant at first but I'm so glade we did she's amazing. Nice to go somewhere we're your are truly valued as a customer and they love seeing you for your appointment. My nails last perfectly and still look like new at four week, usually get them done by the end of the fourth week due to being super hard on them as I work a government job. If I break them no questions asked Christie gets me in and will repair them she's so incredibly kind. I will not give my service to anyone else. She's always getting new fresh colors to to add to the gel dip. I'm glade she talked me into switching over from acrylic as my nails have never been healthier. The deluxe pedicure they do a hand mixed mask for your legs and a scrub. With your choice of scent.I love the lemon lemongrass so amazing. They keep a super clean shop and are doing super well with social distancing at the shop. read more

Christine does amazing work. It took a while for me to try the powder dip nails but I am HOOKED. They are amazing and so strong. No damage to my actual nail underneath. I come in once a month for a soak off and a new set. Christine is an absolute delight to visit with and it is worth the trip to PO to see her once a month. It would be a hassle to go all that way for repairs - lucky I almost never need one (and if I do it was my fault, trust me). read more

I love this salon! Nancy is so great about helping me figure out what will look good and will work for my nails. She is so personable and engaging, and very professional! The only down side is that she IS that good.. which means she's busy, and I have to plan a little bit for an appointment :-) Oh well, it's always worth the wait, if I fail to plan ahead! (review originally posted under different salon name in 2014) UPDATE: Nancy is no longer the owner/operator here, but the new owner, Christine, is wonderful too. I love this shop! It is super cute to start. The people here were super friendly! They helped me decide on how to do my nails when I wasn't sure myself. Furthermore, they made sure to let my nails soak off when removing them, instead of relying on the drill filer to do all the work. I appreciate them taking the time to retain my natural nail! Rose Nails is SERIOUSLY my most favorite place to get just about anything done. the owner Nancy is a gem! she is vietnamese, BUT HERE IS THE WINNER!! she doesnt speak a different language around you she speaks very clear english and has two beautiful daughters. i do know alot about her but that is beacuse she gets to know all of her coustomers. i use to come in alot, then i moved away for about two years and the second she saw me her eyes lit up remembered me right off the bat! thats just how she is with everyone. i swear if your looking for some great tallent and an amazing salon this is it they do IT ALL!!!!! The owner is a sweetie! She's very accomodating and knows what she's doing. The place is good for waxes too. I've been to numerous places where my eye brows were not thoroughly cleaned up and sometimes they ended up crooked. I always come here for an eye brow wax now. :) I haven't received many manicures here, but I think the quality is just great, and the service even better. Though, I do recommend making an appointment in advance. It gets pretty busy here, and if you're a walk-in, you'll be waiting for a while because it's usually her and another person (on weekends). read more

NEGATIVE (VERY POOR COMMUNICATION) I was happy at the thought of trying a new salon and possibly being a long term client. it was my 1st time going there and they talked me into doing the DIP METHOD nails ( and a week later I was very disappointed at how easily they are breaking so after a little over 6/8 days I was having to pull them off because 2 popped off. 2 started cracking, they seemed very weak compared to 40 years of previous fills. They are lifting way to easily they were $60 for a full set ( pricing was also to high for the process & more than regular fill) while they were nice staff, I had to fb message them about this issue, but didn't get a reply. for over 6 days at that time she refused to repair, due to the fact I had to start removing them, why have a fb contact page for a business, then blame me for you not replying for the week, I would have been able to get resolution had I received a reply in a reasonable time frame. awe well I will NOT recommend a business that when a problem arises, Will not correct. her excuse was I removed, Awe ok ylso you eant me to have cracks and broken just to wait wait a week for you to get a reply message to me? I asked if humidity ( was humid in the shop when they were put on) could have caused this? read more

I really want to love this place. It's cute, clean, and Nancy seems fantastic and fun to work with. Unfortunately, I did not get to work with Nancy. The technician that I had seemed very uninterested in her job and her client (me). She did not seem to know what she was doing at all; It became clear that she was clueless when she asked her co-worker if she was supposed to fill the Shellac polish that I had on.( For those who don't know, Shellac is a gel polish that is set with a UV lamp and lasts for several weeks without chipping, it is then soaked off with acetone and a fresh coat is applied) After I realized that this woman had no idea how to do the service I was scheduled for, I asked if she could just do a basic french polish. When all was said and done, I was at the shop for nearly an hour and a half for just a basic manicure ( granted she did have to soak off the shellac, but when it's done properly it only takes an extra 5-10 minutes at the most) and I paid $36 for a mediocre ( at best) manicure.
