Not sure why the low reviews, came in with my wife and the space had several customers and plenty of staff to take us right away. Watching the ladies work, they seemed to pay attention to detail and not just work to get you in and out. The space did not smell of nail product which made it a pleasant experience. DO NOT get waxed here!!! I just did a walk in appointment for a wax, as I'm new to the area and needed a new place to go. The lady asked if I wanted a full face wax. I said yes, except for my forehead and cheeks (I have PCOS so I get unwanted hair on my neck and chin). The wax was really hot, but not hot enough to where I THOUGHT it would be a problem. She then slathered a bunch on my cheek anyway! I said no cheeks, but it was too late. She ripped it off and proceeded along to my chin, but then hit the other cheek anyway! I was so mad that I just wanted out of there. It wasn't until I looked in my car mirror that I saw the burns. By then I was so upset that I just left. I went with one of my friends who heard they were pretty good here I usually stick with my favorite nail place in Gig Harbor but decided to step out of my comfort zone. I hardly ever get acrylics but I wanted to try it out after a year or two of not having them and it was really wanting something cute but ended up with squared, crooked and sloppy nails. The shape that was supposed to be coffin as you can see in the picture looks to be square. They didn't go to each end of my natural nail with the acrylics so there is an awkward in between and the nail polish barely covers my entire nailbed, not happy. Writing this review on behalf of my mom. This is her usual go-to place for her nails. She showed the owner a picture of what she wanted (See photo). He couldn't even manage to do anything she asked. He started doing a white line instead of silver and she asked him to just do the blue tip because he wasn't understanding or taking the time to actually do what she wanted. He got all snippy and rude with her too. I'm sorry, but this is not a difficult task for a nail salon owner or nail salon tech. It wasn't anything extravagant, he should be able to do it. Probably my 3rd time going here and today was the last straw. I asked the nail tech if she can go easy on a broken nail and that set off the bad vibe with her. The tech went on and on about "you have to give me time, I'm not done yet, I have to clean you first, on and on. I finally said "wow, what's wrong why are you upset? She just brushed me off and said you telling me and I'm not done with your nail. Well, isn't that the dumbest thing. It's my nail that hurts and I need to tell you what's going on. My mom and I used to come here quite frequently.. Every 3 weeks for a solid 6 months. We both really liked Anna and how she would do our nails exactly the way we liked. She's very sweet and it's too bad we will not be returning. Here's why: The owner is incredibly shady and rude! He randomly tries to change the price on you and if you have questions he immediately snaps at you. We had first noticed this when two girls came in and had brought their own nail color and he up-charged them. When they asked for an explanation he just went round in circles never fully explaining. Out of confusion and frustration the girls ended up paying and leaving. As soon as they walked out the owner started bad talking them to everyone in the salon! Can you say UNPROFESSIONAL?? Occasionally I would accidentally chip my nail in between filling appointments because one of my jobs is very hands-on. With that being said, I would end up having to go back in to have that one nail fixed. I was never charged for this because that was a complimentary fix (or so I was told by two different nail technicians the first and second time I went in to have it fixed, keep in mind the owner was there and didn't disagree or correct the employees). The last time I was in to have one of my nails fixed it was with the owner. I had asked him if I could tip on my credit card since I didn't have any cash with me and he said that would not be a problem. When he was finished with my nail we went to the front desk and I asked him to charge $4 to my card. He said "OK so $8" when I asked him why $8 he said because it's $4 to fix a broken nail. When I had reminded him about being told fixes were complimentary he tried telling me that it was because I had a new set and not a fill. Which was not the case because I was already a regular customer for four months. I frankly refuse to support a business where it is more important with the owner to nickle and dime people. My mother will be leaving a review with her last experience and why we made the decision to not return. read more

My very first time in, If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. First of all the filth that resides in here, should be shut down, there was used pedicure baskets with dirty tools sitting on the floor and sink where you "wash" your hands, I watched them take a client and seat her in a pedicure station and move the person before hers things and just moved it to the sink, the brushes you're supposed to clean your nails with, we're everywhere on the counter, the dirty towels were in the floor, that's just the beginning. Then I sit down to get a fill, the woman who begins to remove existing polish from my nails begins , she then fills them, goes to remove excess acrylic, cuts the bed of my nail, it was VERY hot and painful, I then tell her, pull my finger back and she doesn't say a work, then tells me to wash and then the man at the end will see me for paint. Go and sit with him, he's being extremely short with me, grabbing my fingers pretty forcefully, the energy in the room at this point was very thick, the way he was treating me, he asks me what color, I show him a picture, he kept huffing, he then starts to file my fingers again, HE burns/rips open the side of my nail, I pull my hand back and yelled "ouuuchh" I'm bleeding immediately, I then am holding my bloody finger and he's staring at me with this disgusting look, he doesn't even ask if I'm okay or sorry, nothing, I then have to ask for a paper towel for my bloody finger, he huffs yet again, I'm holding the paper towel on my finger, he then grabs my fingers to finish his filing, he's pinching pretty hard, I then couldn't hold it in, and I said "you guys are very rough and I'd appreciate if you'd be more careful as I need my hands for work" he then huffs , at this point I'm on the verge of crying. I allow him to finish with the gel. Go to pay and he asks "how much for tip?" I said excuse me?!? I said this was the most uncomfortable service I have ever endured, zero the tip is zero. He rolls his eyes and starts speaking to the girls in the back and I said you need to understand how you treated me, and actually made me feel like I was a burden when two techs cut my fingers and I'm bleeding pretty bad, I will never be back. My husband and I got deluxe pedicures today and we called ahead to see if they had availability. I believe it was the owner who answered the phone, and he said they would be ready in about 15 mins and was the salon in the fred Meyer parking lot next to Verizon. We have never been here before this visit. We were greated and seated immediately. Both the technicians who worked on me and my husband, Anna and Tammy, were really friendly and did great work! They were cheaper than the last nail salon we went to but it didn't compromise the cleanliness, friendliness, and quality of service. We would definenly come back and recommend this place. read more

Dirty! Stained towels and chunks of dirt on the floor and visable dust everywhere. Terrible Pedicure, put my feet in cold water and walked away for 30 minutes then burned me with hot water. Didn't remove any of the calluses from my feet or my spouse's. no massage, scratched me multiple times with the packet that she used extracting the "scrub" Out of. Zero massage rubbed the smear on and washed it off after placing a fresh orange all over my leg! This person than burned my feet with the paraffin wax. Her resolution was to have me place feet in the tub and she sprayed them with the cold water while in the boiling hot paraffin. I inspected the nails and they were half painted. she had the balls to ask if it was ok, too which I replied they were messy and poorly painted. Her solution was to cut my nails down as small as possible. Insult to injury, they charged $135.00 for two pedicures without explaining the charges.
