The pedicure was probably the best I've had! My nails and toes shaped just how I wanted and no pain for either. My issue is that I showed up for my first visit and the salon was closed, and I was only 3 minutes early. I forgot my cell so I couldn't call. I waited until 10:05 then as I was starting to leave I see the owners/family pulling in. I gave them 5 minutes to get setup. I walked in, no greeting, no asking for my name, no apology even after I said I nearly left. There was also a person hunched over outside the door obviously high on drugs, not a good first impression. The salon was in need of a good cleaning, the rug mats inside were filthy. I was really questioning how this place was rated good. I got in a pedi chair (which later noticed water leaking from behind making the floor wet, potential hazard!) the older gal did an awesome job massaging and taking her time with my deluxe pedicure. The original younger gal came over saying she had a no show ( probably left seeing the place closed still) so she started on my nail fill at same time. It took an hour, appreciated getting out of there an hour sooner. She did great job shaping my nails exactly how I wanted and was good not to burn me. I left pleased about my fingernails and toes. Got off to bad start but I'd go back given the positive outcome and that's why the 4 star, not for their lack of professionalism or cleanliness. As long as the nail tools are sterilized I can get over the rest. read more

This place is hands down the best place for a pedicure ever. This is a place that is well worth scheduling an appointment a head of time. I know that it has some bad reviews for being hard to reach or the fact that they don't do walk-ins. But I'm telling you, to me, a place that is really good, is a place that you have to book ahead of time. They aren't an exception to that. Their deluxe pedicure is $39 which is an amazing price. I was really looking forward to trying this place given the good reviews but personally my experience was very poor. The young lady who did my nails cut me several times and I bled on 3 of my fingers on my left hand to the point I had to immediately put bandaids on them when I got home. You can even still see the blood coming through the bandaid on my pinky finger. She took a huge chunk out of my cuticles. I guess part of it was my fault for not telling her to stop cutting and pushing my cuticles back. However, I will still give 2 stars because the shape and my acrylic fill still came out okay and I liked the design and color. Definitely won't be coming back though as I value my health and safety and don't want to be cut again to to the point my nails were dripping blood. read more

I am a California transplant and very selective about who does my nails. This salon was highly recommended on Nextdoor app, so I gave it a shot. I can now see why they are appointment only. The ladies were so gentle with my hands and feet. I got the basic spa pedicure, which actually comes with four different rubs/scrubs/exfoliants, hot towels, cream and warm oil, foot scrub and heel scrub.....before they even begin on your toes. I asked for a gel powder dip with tips, as it's been 2 years since my last appointment. They were super gentle with their tools and super fast with the powder. My nails are so beautiful and my feet and legs feel amazing. So polite, so friendly, so gracious.... It's a beautiful salon and quiet, clean, and just so relaxing. My shellac pedi was fine despite being pretty rough on a toe I asked her to be gentle on. Pretty rushed experience.. felt like they were cutting corners (no cuticle dissolver/solution), very little foot dead skin removal. My acrylics are the issue. I asked them to soak off rather than pry Tf out out your nail w/ another nail tip... they got an attitude but did nonetheless. Continued to do my nails after NOT REMOVING the previous acrylic. (See the cloudiness) in my nails. I asked for long coffin nails/ showed her a pic. My nails are too short and uneven. Again rushed and rude. Acrylic feels extremely thin, hurts to grab things as I assume it's putting undue pressure on my nails. One layer of shellac top coat (that's a 1st). Still acrylic on my fingers. :( Very disappointing to spend $100+ and be unhappy with your nails for almost 2 weeks. This was my first visit to Cosmo Nail & Spa and I was welcomed with open arms. The business is clean, their staff professional and I am very pleased with the timely and detailed services I received. I walked in on a Friday late afternoon and they were able to squeeze me in for a gel manicure and gel pedicure without feeling rushed. Their price points are reasonable, the services excellent and they have a punch card system that rewards a dollar off amount once reached a certain number of services. Called for an appt, they were able to take me within half an hour. Brought my 4-year-old and asked if they could paint her nails. The man painted them a pretty pink with glitter and a design--all for $5! And he was so patient and attentive. I did a gel pedi. The fact that the foot spas are lined, and washed (soap & water and also disinfecting wipes) after each new client, has me booking my next appointment. I also sat for a manicure - again not one of my favourite things to do. I am now a convert! The tools are sterilized on site, each client gets her own new pouch, all tools are only used once before being cleaned again. I understand COVID has changed how business is run. However they need to update they're menu to appointment ONLY instead of saying walk ins welcome when they clearly aren't. I showed up as soon as they opened 9:10 they looked fully staffed with only 3 customers total getting worked on already and they said appointment only. However no sign up saying so. Also online says walk ins welcome (updated a week ago). And it wouldn't have been as bad if they would have let me make an appointment however she made it more then clear that wasn't an option?
