I came to T&N kind of last minute. I am terrible at making appointments because things happen when I have plans. I have one kid, two dogs and a self employed husband and for some reason every time I have plans a dog pukes or the kid needs something or my husband needs something (sometimes I assist him in his office) and since his job pays for my nails etc I would like to make sure his business runs smoothly. So sometimes that means my nail apt gets put on back burner. So usually I call and see if I can't get in on a day I know I'm free. Well, at my last nail place, I was juggled around a lot and not all the nail techs were that great, and so I figured I'd try somewhere new. So happy I found T&N! They usually get me in same day, even within the hour. Their work is excellent, and consistent. I love coming here. They always remember me and my son, and treat him well also. We usually get pedicures and dip powder nails. His are just clear to help them grow and protect them from breaking. Anne usually does both his pedicure and manicure and he likes her a lot. She's so sweet. EVERYONE here is super friendly and kind. They have 2 TVs to keep you occupied watching either street food or euro travel. You can bring your son or daughter here for a care date like me, or come to get away from them I do that on occasion too. I highly suggest this establishment, it's clean, not cluttered and I think you'll like them! But do call first, so you're not pushing out someone who made an appointment. read more

I have had nothing but good experiences at T&N. Ti (the owner) does my nails and is some kind of magician because I've never had a nail pop off with ANY of the sets she's given me. That is a miracle because I have very flat and wide nail beds and it is REALLY hard to keep acrylics on them (usually through no fault of the nail tech). She is amazing! I've had several full sets and many fills, and I've never left unsatisfied. I've only had one pedicure done there but I was happy with that as well! Decided to try this salon again, as reviews were good. Wrong decision. Had a pedicure. The pedicure itself was ok, it was the polish used that I have issues with. It was either old, defective or something. I knew something wasn't right when I lightly touched one of my toes while watching TV that evening. The polish was still somewhat "sticky "! I had the pedicure around 2 pm that afternoon. And the reason I went to touch it? Because I could smell it. Glancing at my feet, they look ok, but when you look closely you can see that the surface is smudged, and the polish looks to thick. I won't be going back. read more

I walked-in on a Monday in the morning and chose the volcano pedicure with gel polish and a gel manicure. The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly *New Owner* for nail shop and I WANTED to love it but it needs some adjustments. I have been here two times and still have not had a "great" experience but same tech. Upon walking into the salon, you are greeted with a friendly hello and check for an appointment. Both times I had called ahead, and both times there were 2-3 techs working, but never more than 2 guests. I have only personally seen 4 diff. nail techs at this location. The owner -"T" is the one who customers rave about, an older lady who is very quiet-she may be learning, because I have only seen her doing gel polish/ reg polish / pedis/manis, a more outspoken nail tech, and one other lady who I have not seen doing nails. The Good- Ease of getting in, Acrylic nails have long life w/ NO lift, Nail paint on point Being under new ownership, means more available appointments or walk ins. I was super hyped that I could make a same day appointment for nails and pedi a few hours later in the same day. I even had two people working on me at the same time(which is a big deal to me since I rarely have free time). Second, my acrylic nails were done so well- after close to 3 weeks, there was NO lifting at the base and NO breaking! Paint on nails was clean, crisp and uniform. The Bad- Minimal services offered, Different services offered at different times, Limited color selection for Gel & Dip, Poor paint job, Damage to cuticles, Nail shape I'm assuming that the new owner is restricted by budget in what nail services they can offer due to the cost of materials at this time. I recommend calling ahead. I understand-but I've been unable to truly get the colors I want because of the limited color selection. When asking for something simple like a skinny gold line at the base of a half painted nail design, I was told it cannot be done because the person who does that, isn't here today. Either the tech couldn't do it, or doesn't have the material on hand. When shaping my nails, both occasions I asked for a different shape and it just kind of looked like a rounded or square stick on nail (if I wanted that, I could have paid $5.99 at Target and done it myself). Little care was taken in reshaping the acrylic in a feminine way/ to the original nail shape-resulting in nails that look like "stick on" Sally Hansen style. During the mani, cuticle cutting sometimes hurt- and it didn't seem like much cuticle was coming off at all for the amount of time it had been since my last mani-just a week later I could see the damage done to the skin below the nail where the cuticle was cut incorrectly(picture). The paint job on my toes looked like something I would do myself. The Ugly- No pricing displayed, Tech's not being cool, Few techs to pick from There was no pricing displayed both times I was in and I feel I was misquoted comparing both visits-unfortunately I have nothing in writing to verify. They do have prices for pedicures in a "pamphlet" that hand you. The first time the owner was present I believe and the pricing seemed right for everything I got, and the second time the owner was not present a- I feel like number was just thrown out there...$40 for an acrylic fill? The first time I initially wanted dip but with limited colors or options given-I decided to just do gel because normally there is a good color selection. Then I saw there was limited choices for gel polish as well and they did not have the color I was looking for. When I started asking if maybe we could create the look with regular polish since there were more colors, I felt pressured to stick with gel in a pushy way. Eventually we figured something "gel" out, but not without feeling uncomfortable. The second time: there is poor lighting in the salon and it is difficult to see the "colors" in the case they offer you to look at. Several times I wanted to see what a color looked like out of the bottle/on a real nail/mine because its different on your hand and the tech was visibly irritated when I changed my mind or asked to see another color(BEFORE it has been exposed to light). I caught myself just going with something to get out of there(as I did with the nail shape). When showing her a color that I was looking for, to my surprise the tech brought a color back that was not in the "gel" case I was told to pick from(this case was only color choice given to me for gel). Not cool. In the event you experience something similar, there are few options to change to within the salon. Friendly greeting, not so nice when you ask them to change something or need more options, friendly when you leave and pay. If you want basic, this is the place for you. read more

I hadn't gotten my nails done in 15 years and decided to start getting acrylics again. I went to another place first but was not very please. For my fill I went to T&N, which was the place I had originally wanted to try. Ruby not only filled but completely transformed my nails. They are beautiful! She took extra time that the other place did not to make sure nails were straight, even, and cleaned up nicely. She was friendly and took the time to get to know me. The atmosphere was great, I could tell most of the customers there were regulars and the staff were so kind, and had great rapport with each other and customers. This is my current go-to nail salon. I accidentally found this place due to my previous main salon being fully booked and needed my nails done last minute. I'm glad I did because Yen has been doing a really good job of doing my nails! I got acrylics done here for the first time last July 2019, and I couldn't be happier so I've been coming back since. Yen takes her time and doesn't make me feel uncomfortable. I come in during weekdays in the morning so it's not busy. I came in on an afternoon and a weekend before and it gets pretty packed. They don't have a lot of staff, so the wait on those days could get pretty long. Overall I really like this place. The only downside for me personally would be the variation in colors. I do, however, enjoy the different color options on the powder they use for the acrylics. read more
