Use to have my nails done here years ago. Clearly they have transitioned through new staff and probably new owners. I was in need of a last minute pedi before leaving on vacation and oh my goodness, my toes hurt! She cut my nails way too short (without asking) and tried to continue to file them shorter. Then with her trying to buff my toenails before painting, my skin is extremely tender and raw from that... to top it off, my nail polish is on so thick and clumpy and over painted on my cuticles, she had another lady try to come over and start drilling off chunks of the paint.... I was done and told them " no more"! They really didn't seem to care or let it phase them. They lowered the price $5 because I was leaving before she was done!! $48 and tender toes!!! I'm a bit late on my review A few months ago, I got a full set of acrylic nails. They look nice, and I left a good tip for the man who did them. I started to feel a lot of pain in both of my pinkie nails after a few days of having them. Little did I know the acrylics cracked my real nail underneath. I had to take them off and was left with only half of my real nails. I'm not sure if anyone has experienced this, but I will never go here again. I have used this nails many times. They are clean, efficient, and friendly. Beautiful new chairs and sleek modern design grace the salon. The receptionist Tiffany is fantastic, with super-proficient English, and she will set you up with the perfect nail technician if you tell her what you need. If you have problem nails, tell her that, too. Like most other salons, the staff is all Vietnamese, many with limited English skills. But they work so hard to pamper you and make your nails beautiful; you walk out a better and more beautiful person! The foot massages are great. Many men go here too! The prices are reasonable! I strongly advise calling to make an appointment if you have specific requests and nail needs. However, walk-ins are very welcome, and constitute much of their business. I love this place! I'm proud to have these lovely people in our country. I have gone there for over 10 years and will not go again. My experience's over the past year or 2 have caused nothing but frustration. Recently, I went in for a gel manicure. I got home and realized that the polish hadn't cured so I had bumps and weird ridges. After 4 days the gel just started peeling off. The women are often rude and get annoyed if you asked them to fix a mail filed crooked. The staff constantly changes. Back when I first went, they did an excellent job. I never get a design on my nails but thought I would treat myself for once. I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted and she said that she could do that then she couldn't get the color I wanted to work. So she started doing random colors and it really looked cool but wasn't the colors I wanted when I got home my husband told me it looks like Christmas nails and the colors I wanted was pink and blue but she did green red and yellow. I called the shop to see if they would fix them and the woman told me that she could not fix them I would have to get them redone. I told her they looked cool but was nothing like what I wanted since it is spring and they are definitely winter colors. Very disappointed in the customer service when you spend $50 on a shellack nail you expect them to fix it when it wasn't what you wanted. I have been going to Tiny Nails for 4 or more years now. The last 3 times have been unpleasant. First thing walking in I felt like I was a inconvenience to them. Waited 45 min, with my feet in cold not lukewarm COLD water. All three times I didn't have my cuticles trimmed, rushed me through and left me sitting for another 20 min,Waiting for her to assist in getting my Sandles on as to not mess up my polish. The cashier couldn't have been more unfriendly. This last time was the last straw for me. My polish was chipping off on the 3rd day. I went in to have it redone. No apologies. I also mentioned my cuticles needed trimmed. He just did a polish change and made me feel uncomfortable for even coming back so they could do it right. It appears that possibly new owners? Oh, 2 day's after I got the polish change, 2 nails are completely missing polish. Any suggestions on a new salon to try? read more

Awful, don't go here. I had a normal manicure and a horrible paint job. Can see brush strokes on some nails, not full coverage on others. When I showed someone and asked for it to be fixed, I was told "you sat in front of the fan too long". Now how that happens with 30 seconds with a fan on and not even remotely dry nails, you've got me. Made me sit and wait while he did a full gel manicure on someone else before fixing mine. Only repainted 3 nails when all should have been redone. Continued to blame me as the customer?? Not sure how I caused a terrible paint job. Leaving with paint on my fingers, uneven coverage. One of the better nail salons in Pierce County. I was beyond impressed with them. Great service and fantastic prices! I can vouch this is a clean salon. We had a little beauty party here on a Sunday night and we stayed until the salon closed. While the ladies sat around drying their nails, the staff here cleaned out each pedicure chair by draining out the tubs and using disinfectant. Kudos for cleanliness! Included in your manicure and pedicure is a paraffin wax treatment. Add a long massage to that and you're set for a relaxing treatment! Pedicures are priced at $24; manicures at $12. The nail designs here were also top notch. Overall a great spa experience. Happy I drove over the bridge to check it out! read more

Oh wow, this place is impressive. I walked in without an appointment on a Friday (late morning) & the place was PACKED. I assumed I'd have to wait at least a half an hour which was fine, but I was seated immediately and my nail tech, Mandy, was able to get started on my nails in less than 10 minutes. I don't know how the hell she did that. She was super nice and professional, plus she is talented and well educated. My French gel mani was only 25 bucks, not including tip, and it looks fantastic. My got scolded by the parafin dip to the point I thought I was going to have burn marks on my feet. The only massaged my legs and not my feet. I could go on and on. So I feel the need to write a review of a place I visited, from out of town, a full month ago because my gel nails still look PERFECT! 4 weeks, ladies!! My gel nail polish has lasted four weeks. When asked if I had gel nails before, I said "yes but they only lasted two weeks." Tiny Nails made sure to take the time to paint a little on the underside of the nail to seal in the coat and make them last twice as long. Every single person at Tiny Nail is so sweet and does an amazing job on either my gel nails or pedicures. The fact that they offer hot wax and a fantastic massage with every manicure and pedicure (included in the price) is outstanding. Additionally - they guarantee their gel manicures for two weeks - if anything happens, or they start to lift - they redo your nails for free! My only gripe - and it is a little one - is that, when it comes to gel nails, if I already have gels on when I go in, I never get out of the salon in less than 1 hour, 15 mins. If I could give them a 4.75 star rating, I would! That said, I have never had this be the issue - I usually end up going in to treat myself or because of grow out. Highly recommend!!! read more

Not recommended for girls day... We came in for 5 pedicures and 4 manicures. They were short staffed and then started on customers who came in after us while two of us sat and soaked in the foot spa for 30 minutes. Once my pedicure started it was extremely rushed and my nail artist finished at nearly the same time as my family who started their pedis 30 minutes before me. She did not take her time cleaning my nails or caring for my skin. Then when I complained she told me I was the first person who has ever complained in 16 years.
