We went to Rose Nails on New Year's Day, and it was a very disappointing experience. I asked for regular polish since I was scheduled to deliver my baby on the 4th and wanted to be able to remove it easily. I was immediately given attitude for not choosing gel. I originally requested a French tip, but the nail tech only applied the white tip and topcoat, skipping the usual light pink base. The result looked terrible, and you could clearly see my previous gel growth. Due to a language barrier, I waved over the owner to clarify whether the nails were finished. The nail tech became visibly angry that I called him over. To avoid further issues, we switched to a solid color (Funny Bunny), but the polish was extremely streaky, uneven, and textured--honestly looked like a golf ball. The fan he used also spread the polish and made it worse. I'm especially disappointed because I've been coming here for years. I had already stopped going recently due to uncomfortable comments made about my body early in my pregnancy, and this visit confirmed why. Got my nails done today on 4/22/24. Left with my finger's bleeding and did not get what I asked for. My person was rough. After asking to get my nails redone my hand was dipped in boiling water and acetone. Never felt so much pain while getting my nails done. They also left powder all over my hands when I left. Came in yesterday with no appointment around 12pm and was helped in around 20 min. Brian was my tech and he was gentle when filling my nails. He did a good job I recommend him. I believe I got Acrylic dip nails in the number 248(or 247 just look at the examples) shape ballerina, if anyone was wondering. The place itself is clean and well organized. Although I had a ok first time here my friend's wasn't as pleasant. Overpriced for what you're getting. Mine were $60 and the basic French tip my friend got (used a google pic) were $55 she didn't get acrylic either. No pedicure or manicure, just nails painted. The lady painted some dots on her nails and added a simple rainbow to each of her big toes. The charge was $51.50 for a child nail polish. Came here for a pedicure and manicure/set. The lady who did my pedi was nice but burn me several times with the water, hot towels, and hot stones. She didn't allow any of them to cool she was in such a rush! I had a French done on my toes that looks soo uneven! Then on my mani, which was basically nothing the guy just jumped into doing my nails, sanded my nails and that was it didn't even trim my cuticles. Cut me 3 times with the sander! Was rude! Refused to make my nails the length I wanted them! And did not clean them up after they were done. I give a three star rating because I had an appointment for 330 and he sat me at 3:50 for the pedicure. I paid for the $50 pedicure the one that has everything the gel soap a hot rock massage everything. I felt like it was rushed they were very busy they were finished With my pedicure in about 26 minutes. Probably one of the quickest pedicures I've ever had especially for paying for one of the most expensive. Not a good experience at all. The guy who did my nails was in a hurry to get me out of there and his work showed it. Got a full set of acrylics done and each nail is shaped differently and crooked and not what I requested in the first place. Plus, I had to correct him on a nail he forgot to put the finishing matte coat on before he sent me out the door. After all was said and done, the guy ushered me to the check out, showed me my total, I chose a tip amount to pay and then a few days later I end up getting charged quite a bit more than I agreed to. This was my second time to go to Rose Nails. And my last. The first time I went there was for my eyebrows. Great job, no problem. Today I went for a pedicure and dip nails. Bring a senior I live on a fixed income and I have to know exactly what my "luxury" will cost me. And this is my one and only luxury. He didn't seem happy that I did not need one of the more high priced ones. He started taking my polish off and started "sanding" it off. He told me that shellac was used and was $5.00 to remove it. He had already started it and I didn't want to make a fuss so I went along with that. He finished it all and another tech did my nails. She said yes my nails would be $40. And when she rang it up it was that. BUT my pedi was $40 also! I did make a fuss then and told her it should have be $35. She checked with the tech and he said the polish removal was $5 and something else was $5 extra. I never understood what it was. I paid it and left. Horrible experience with a guy named Bryan or Ryan. He was never friendly and never said a word except how do I want my nails done. I had a difficult time explaining what I wanted. The whole time he tried to move my fingers in positions they couldn't bend. He told me not to look left or right, just look at my own hand and relax. Then started popping his knuckles several times, stopping and looking at me as if he wanted to hit me. I asked him was he okay. He annoyingly waved his hand in front of his face like he didn't want to be there or even finish my nails. At one point he was bending my fingers in an awkward way and I told him he was going to break my fingers like that. I was so outdone when he started on my other hand, and sliced my finger with the sharp drill bit. I requested to have someone else finish my nails. The guy didn't even apologize. The manager said he had a bad attitude and he doesn't speak good English. Do not let the tall skinny guy about 5'8 or 5'9 with black stringy hair named Ryan or Bryan do your nails. I didn't know this until today, but someone I know saw him and he treated her hands rough but not as bad as mine. This really hurt! It is the next day and my finger is still hurting.
