Great experience here. My Hubs, Bro-in-Law & myself needed Pedicures. We were treating my B.I.L to his first experience. My Hubs & I go often for our dates @ home in Tuscaloosa. We found Rose Nails by searching Google. The reviews were great & we agree! All 3 of our Stylists performed wonderful Pedis & the massages tingled & relaxed us all. My B.I.L. said he'd definitely come again & bragged on how good his legs felt. My Hubs had a Sylist, named *Dao (Dow). She was exceptionally good. My Stylist, a man, was also very good. My leg massage & the attention to my tired old feet felt amazing. Easy to find on Thomas Dr, in the same strip with Fatty Patty's. My first pedicure, and it was such a wonderful experience. They said many men come here. The staff was very friendly & welcoming to my wife, daughter & myself. Funny ladies too! My daughter had acrylic nails & wife a pedicure as well. The shop was well equipped with pedicure massage chairs with many massage options. The staff went right to work, a beverage, a soak, a pedicure, the cuticles, callus removal and wrapping up with a lengthy foot message. Daughter was very please with her nails. I am so happy I came here. My daughter got me a gift certificate for my birthday. She couldn't of picked a better place. I'm extremely picky and my pedicure and dip was perfect. They were sanitary, took their time, and I felt gave me the full service, I didn't feel they skipped over steps. I was so relaxed and everyone was very nice! I will definitely be coming back. I stopped in last night and didnt realize they were closing soon (my fault). I was still seen for a full set manicure and pedicure and they were amazing!! No one normally ever listens when I say I want short sport and she got my nails the exact length I wanted. They took the time to take care of me and made sure I was comfortable and asked if I wanted a drink or if I needed anything several times, the massage and scrub was great and I didn't feel rushed at all!! I've been coming here for three years now, and this is hands down the best nail salon on the beach. Nancy, the owner, is such an amazing woman makes a personal connection with all of her clients. She knows all of her clients by name, which is very impressive considering how much more popular it has become! The ladies do the best acrylics, and when getting fills, they make sure it is properly done to avoid fungus. I got my nails done in Gainesville, and when I came home to get a fill by Nancy, we found that the other nail salon had been poorly sealing my acrylics, leaving me with a fungus. Thankfully, Nancy was able to help me fix my nails, and I learned once again, she is the best. I could go on about Rose Nails forever, but I highly recommend this nail salon. My deluxe spa pedicure with gel polish removal & application of new gel polish was 2 hours, somewhat due to how many services it contained, but just as much because Tommy was really detail oriented & thorough! They offered drinks, which was a nice touch. Tommy asked me if I wanted anything changed or done differently, and made sure to tell me if anything happened after I left, to come back & they would gladly fix it. Came in here the day before Christmas eve with a friend of mine for a walk-in to treat ourselves during vacation and absolutely LOVED it! I live here, and was in the area. The gel manicure and a pedicure were absolutely great. It has been awhile since I have had my nails done, and I garden alot; so they needed a little more care. Worst nail place ever! Just stopped here because I didn't make it to get my nails done at my usual nail place before heading north. And I sure regretted it a lot! One of the staff (Asian girl, speaks fluent English) is bossy, off standish, rude and not open to a customer's wish (JUST WANTED MY FINGERNAILS A BIT SHORTER, which shouldn't a big deal, right?)!She said something to her nice but shy (maybe not English speaking) colleague AND SAID TO ME THAT SHE DOESN'T THINK IT LOOKS GOOD THE WAY I WANT IT!! -I had the length done every month in ten years without problems, also she's rough and hurt my pinky fingernail so bad that it got inflamed! Nail polish lasted 1,5 days only! They didn't want to listen to my wishes just did their thing! My cuticles look and feel bad, so roughed up! The cuticle skin is peeling and hurts! MY SUGGESTION TO THE OWNER TO THE PLACE: YOUR STUFF NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO PERFORM BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DON'T BE NARROW MINDED, NOT OPEN TO CRITIC, DON'T get angry if a customer wants something a bit different! I was left waiting at the pedicure station with my feet in water that was eventually cold for over an hour. The owner then tried to make up for it by having one girl rush through a cold pedicure while she simultaneously did the manicure while I was in the pedicure chair (very uncomfortable). In their haste they both did a seriously bad job on both my feet and my nails. At one point the owner messed up almost set polish and tried unsuccessfully to just paint over it rather than remove and re-polish as is typically done. She would have left it like that if I had not complained. I was so proud of having grown out my own nails a bit and was looking forward to having them professionally shaped. She sanded the surface of them hard (as if they were acrylic nails) as she distracted talked to the woman doing my pedicure about her vacation plans. This made my nails so thin and weak that several broke in the next couple of days and I had to file them all down :-( Service may be low here, but the prices are not! read more

I called today and they could get me right in. They are very nice and polite and they do such good work on my pedicures.

What others see as a bad thing, I really appreciate. Getting my nails done is really just part of dressing for work. It's not a "day at the spa" for me! I just want to get in and out and be done. Not to mention, the gel they do on my nails seems to last as well or better than other places that I go. I only use Rose nails when I'm in a hurry. Just now in and out in less than 45 minutes with feet and nails completely done! I would recommend them. read more

I gave them one star because the app wouldn't open with zero. I went in for a deluxe pedicure. The girl spent about 10 minutes cutting my toenails, did a short scrub, looked up and said, you done. I explained that I wanted the foot and leg massage. The other girl said, we don't do that, while she was giving another customer a massage. I told them I would pay more and they told me that I needed to go somewhere else if I wanted a massage. 28 bucks, no tip. read more

I have been going to Rose Nails since it opened almost 7/8 years ago. The entire staff is super friendly and very accommodating. They do a great job on my nails and eyebrows. The TOURISTS leaving bad reviews are probably the same ones that come here, trash the beach, and mistreat the staff at every establishment they visit while they're here. The people that work at Rose Nails are wonderful at what they do. I'll never go anywhere else. read more

The staff was very nice with the exception of the one who did my manicure and eyebrow waxing. She was more interested in her phone than what she was getting paid to do. My nails are uneven and she practically sheared off my eyebrows. Lady, if you don't like your job find something else to do. read more
