I have been coming here since I was 15 years old, and I'm now 29. I am beyond disappointed with the new ownership and the way Ken treats his employees. It's truly heartbreaking to witness. I have been seeing Tracy for the past 7-8 years, and her mom has always worked there as well. They are both incredibly sweet, kind, and hardworking. The way Ken, the owner, speaks to them is absolutely unacceptable and disrespectful. Patrick should have never sold his company to Ken. Because of this mistreatment, Tracy and her mom are no longer there. They have been there for years. Her mom way before I started going there years ago. Walked-in for a pedicure after shopping. It was mid-afternoon and there were only a couple of customers so service was quick. I requested a basic pedicure and received just that- 60 seconds of cuticle removal, 60 seconds on my heels, 60 second massage, 60 seconds of conversation, 60 second hot towel, etc. Very perfunctory and impersonal service- all the right words, but a very disengaged vibe. Took about 35 minutes and toes looked good, yet not great, as I don't think he buffed the nails before polish. I tipped accordingly and left wishing I had researched and found a better option. read more

I have been a frequent customer of Rose for 5 years. I began coming in August of 2020. I was such a loyal customer when I needed my nails done I would drive home from college to come to Rose. I have referred more people than I can count. Sadly after my experience today I will not be returning. I'd like to make this clear they have recently gone under new management and I NEVER had any complaints prior. The previous manager would fix my nail free of charge if only one broke and I never needed to have my nails redone bc they were never done bad. Might I add that when I first started going in 2020 I would get intricate designs etc. Up until yesterday service has been great. I came in yesterday and asked for French tip a service I had gotten frequently but never under the new management. The young man started doing my nails w dip and the white tip came down close to my cuticle. I asked him several times if the white tip would be able to be thinned out and if they would all end up looking even (all of the white tips were not even, some thinner than others etc) he responded "I'm not done yet." I continued following up and asking if he could fix it but that only made him file specific nails down shorter and shorter to give the appearance that the tips matched in size. (They didn't). I also want to make it clear that I DO NOT USE TIPS. Therefore I left with all of my real nails different lengths. It took me several years to grow my nails out to this length and he shaved my nails down to all different lengths. I was near tears and asked if he could just paint over it. They painted over it with white (I'll insert picture) CHARGED ME $43 and told me to please come back tmw for me to get the service free of charge the way I liked as they were so sorry. They did not fix that night due to them closing. I assumed the next day my nails would be free. I called made an appointment and asked specifically if the nails would be fixed and redone for free. I asked them again before they started my nails if it would be free and they said yes. They were not. They still charged me $20 today. At the register I expressed I don't think I should have to pay for service that was done wrong in the first place as I already paid $43 dollars yesterday and now am being charged another $20 ESPECIALLY after I was told that they would be free several times. I continued to express this for almost 10 mins and the manger began to do math on a post it to explain why. I ended up paying leaving no tip and this review. I was honestly going to continue going to Rose bc I have been such a loyal customer and the woman who fixed my nails did a fine job but after paying $43 yesterday for nails that had me leaving the store in literal tears ... to then being told it would be fixed FOR FREE... & then telling me AFTER my nails are fixed it is $20. Made me feel lied to, uncared for and not appreciated as a customer WHATSOEVER. I am truly sad leaving this review but this experience sealed the deal for me. read more

I got my nails done here yesterday and they look worse than they've ever looked at my entire life with streaks and bubbles and unevenness all over them. Their product appears to be old and their tools were not in an auto clave package, which makes me believe they are unsanitary. I sent pictures of my nails to the owner and he acted like there was nothing he could do, but this is the worst nail service and I would never return. read more

Well, I was recommended here by my friend. I called and spoke with Vicky and made my appointment. She called me a few minutes right back to confirmed it too. When I got there a gentleman asked me what service I needed and I said I had an appointment. He looked confused after looking down his book and not seeing my name. Went to asked (assuming Vicky) but came back still empty handed and told me to take a seat. They didn't add my name so I had to wait 30 mins before I was seated for my service. I waiting because it would have been more time I didn't have to try to find somewhere else and probably would of have waited as well. Amy was really nice and did a good job. I would come back and see her again if I'm there but the customer service of the place in general is not that great and Vicky never came out to apologize or anything. Came here a cpl of months ago with a friend to get nails done and a pedicure. A few days after getting dipped nails they were coming off! I decided yesterday to give them another chance and got a pedicure. I got the deluxe one but the tech that did mine slipped and hurried through it. Not impressed....most of my time was waiting on my toenails to dry which they weren't after 30 minutes! I had to repaint a cpl of the nails myself (brought my own polish) before I got sat at the dryer for longer. they tried to tell me how long I had been there . I had to wear the flip flop things to finish my errands and when I got home and looked at my toes my two big toes were messed up so again I had to repaint them. Never had an issue with a pedicure before or the polish (Essie brand) $48 later and more time than I wanted to spend there and left unhappy. Don't plan to return again. read more

I arrived for a pedicure and the girl didn't say anything to me at all after I sat down until I put my feet in the water which was HOT - and she acted like I was stupid for doing it. Her English was poor. I finally figured out she had to do hot water then cold to cool it. Nothing was put in the water for a Classic Pedicure. I didn't have time to soak my feet to soften my feet before she pulled out the scraper to remove dead skin on my feet without ANY LOTION! Bare skin! Ouch!!!! Then she proceeded to trim my toe cuticles and CUT ME on the big toe. That was it - I had to get out!!! She was obviously not happy at all and talked to coworkers in Vietnamese- I turned on Google translate conversation and found out she was criticizing me! With that I asked her to what I owed for a partial job as I was LEAVING! She said $35 or full price and she has not even started to paint my toenails. She followed me to the front and both the manager and her were jumping me to pay full price - neither spoke English well enough to understand why I was upset even after showing the manager my cut toe and unpainted feet! He was so rude! He took her side and wanted full price while she was arguing that she had done a good job. I told him if we needed to call the police that was fine and I would be happy to show them I was bleeding and the work was only 25 percent complete. Horrible experience. I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon with a girlfriend and we were quickly seated for mani/pedis. We were delighted when they offered us a glass of wine (boxed wine but free wine is free wine), yay! The lady who did my nails was very nice but had a thick accent and it was difficult to understand what she was saying, which was sort of awkward when she made small talk. She was patient with me and did a great job overall. The classic pedicure was perfect and exactly what I needed for my beat up winter feet. They even had some sort of mini sand blaster that buffed my heels to perfection, they haven't been this smooth in years. I've gotten pedicures in every major city and I've never seen this tool before, I'd come back to Little Rock just for that! They gave a lovely foot massage. The polish is holding up fine a week later. The classic manicure was also fantastic. They primped and trimmed and massaged my hands until they were shiny new. The polish didn't last more than 2 days (OPI) so that was disappointing, but my cuticles are still beautiful and hang nail free, even in the dry January air. I paid with credit card and they let me add tip to the bill. It was $47 for the mani/pedi which I felt was high for the area, but clearly it was worth it. read more

They have new management as of recently and I'm so glad because it's a beautiful spa and the prices are great for the area with much better customer service. This place used to be FANTASTIC. My go to place. The guy who did my pedi today was very nice and did a nice pedicure. For some reason, he couldn't polish my toes with Shellac and someone else had to come do it. Fine. I had been asked repeatedly what color I wanted. The guy polishing my toes asked AGAIN! I requested an OPI color by name. He told me he didn't have that color and insisted I select my color from the numbered choices provided to me. I picked the closest thing I could fine. He brings it back. It's the very color I asked for. Don't lie to me and don't be lazy. Just go look for it. I'll tip well for great service. This was anything but. When he finished, I put my shoes on and walked out. No goodbye. No "have a nice day." Just rude. Oh...and a sloppy polish job. Terrible service! Manicurist did not know how to file an almond shape nail. All of my nails were a different lengths and shape was never achieved. He filed my nails for so long he took some of my skin off. After letting manager know he told me to come back another day because there were too busy to fix my nails. I went back and still the same issue. I asked for another manicurist and that was denied. I just had my tips removed and was never given a refund only a gift certificate. I got a lash lift from here and it was horrible. The girl pulled my lashes out, my eyes were pouring water, burning so bad, and the entire experience was bad. She put a substance on my eyes that smelt like the worst rotten eggs. They do not look good, she left the dye all over my eyes and i can't get it off. My eyes are still burning and watering. Terrible service and terrible job done. I went here for manicure and pedicure for my wedding shower and was so disappointed. They were rude and very pushy and my nails look horrible. I got shellac and the man that helped me did a very poor job. He painted all over the edges and did not clean up well so it looks like I did it myself. He wouldn't listen to how I wanted them, when I said two coats was enough he said he would "do one more. It will look better." My nails are also now shaped weird. I've been a patron for over a year and the new management is a welcome experience. They respect your time and honor my scheduled appointment. My wait is never longer than a couple of minutes, nor am I handed off for another tech to finish the job. The appointments are always scheduled so that whenI arrive she is waiting for me.
