He is as good as they come. 5 stars. Philip was the the installer. He was good & thorough & fast. 5 stars. The tub is ok. I am a senior. I was seated while draining it on the first use. I skipped forward & bruised my toe. I wrapped it with a toe sleeve & it will be ok until it heals. KOHLER SHOULD HAVE MADE THE FLOOR NO-SLIP. 4 stars. Got a new shower installed today. This is an upgrade to the tub/shower unit that as was in when I bought this condo. The sales person that came to the house to see what I wanted really listened to me. Parts showed up on time as did the installers to put in the new shower. I would strongly caution anyone considering USA Bath. The original work on my shower was completed in 2017 and was not done correctly. USA Bath had to return multiple times over the following years, and ultimately the entire installation had to be redone in 2019 to fix the issues. After that, things held up for several years. Fast forward to now: the silicone sealant is failing and the shower shelves are no longer stable. This is a basic repair. Instead of addressing it, USA Bath is refusing to take responsibility and is relying on a warranty technicality that was never clearly disclosed at the time of the original contract. The key issue is this: the so-called "warranty requirements," including the obligation to schedule and pay for maintenance every five years, were not provided at the time of sale. That information was only shared years later, after the project had already required a full redo. Despite this, they now claim those terms were always in place and are using that position to deny coverage. They have also not provided a copy of the original contract. If those terms had been clearly included from the beginning, there would have been no need to delay service while asking me to locate documentation. They also advertise a "lifetime warranty," but in reality, it is conditional on ongoing paid maintenance--about $300 per visit--which was never transparently communicated upfront. That is not a nominal fee, and it fundamentally changes what most customers would reasonably expect from a lifetime warranty. When asked to provide the original signed contract to support their claims, they were unable and unwilling to do so. Instead, the response was dismissive and shifted blame onto the customer. At this point, they are offering to perform the repair only if I pay their fee, while continuing to assert that they have already been "more than reasonable." Between the poor initial workmanship, the need for a full redo, the lack of transparency around warranty terms, and the unwillingness to stand behind the work without additional charges, this has been an extremely frustrating experience. read more

I appreciate your response Russel. With all due respect, I feel the chances of the stain being caused by a "chemical exposure" are slim to none. This is not possible with the products used. Again, the tech mentioned that the pan is not draining properly and he was perplexed as to the "angle" of the pan and "he has never seen this before". I'm not an expert, but I suspect this is related to the stain. To sum it up, we got a really bad install and instead of addressing the overall issue to replace it entirely, you applied quick fixes that may or may not work. I understand from a business perspective the cost is too great, but it's sad for me as a customer. I am concerned of any possible future issues. if there was a zero, i would check that one. they are bad in returning calls once they have your money. We had problems with a switch that was replaced by their worker it kept making the fan go on every 5 mins or so when shut off. We eventually had to contact a contractor close by to fix the problem which cost us $400 in which usabath/bath planet refused to reimburse us. After our mother passed away, she left behind a lot of hoarding issues that my sister and I had to deal with. Along with having elderly, hoarding parents, there were a multitude of unfinished projects and indecisiveness on completing said projects. We finally had the chance to get the ball rolling on updating our parents aging house. One of the first important issues on our very long list was to have the master bathroom remodeled. We could not immediately afford to have the whole bathroom done, so we settled on getting the shower renovated as a priority. It was in bad shape which involved, leaking, dry rot, tiles falling apart, and all in a small, confined space. After making the decision to hire USA Bath, they required a $1,000 deposit. I guess they are extremely busy, because we had to wait about 4 months to get the work started. But once the day arrived, the friendly and courteous contractor arrived and worked hard at getting the shower enlarged a few more inches, removing all of the rotten, moldy areas, and replacing the interior with a shiny new non-porous "wall surround" material. They included upgraded plumbing, shower head, soap dish, grab bar and folding wood seat. It was completed in just a few days time! The only issue was that the soap dish is a bit crooked, but not noticeable enough to make a big deal about it. We are very satisfied with the final results. My sister and I want to make my dad's life a little more comfortable now in his advanced years and USA Bath helped us out with that. In 2016 we had both baths done, but unfortunately one of the shower pans was not installed correctly. Contacted Josie to have someone call me. Received a call from Will who came to inspect the issue. With the lifetime guarantee, Will scheduled the redo which we ended up having to choose another color which was more beautiful than the original color no longer available. Isael Vences finished the job in 1 1/2 says. He was very professional! He did an awesome job! Our guest bath had to have the silicone redone which he did as well making it look amazing. I selected USA Bath after reading reviews (most of which were good), checking the Better Business rating, visiting the show room and watching USA Bath YouTube videos which explained the entire process. The process was exactly as stated in the videos and as explained by the sales person. There were no surprises and the project was started and completed within the timeline given. My installer was Brian. He arrived on time, did not slack off. He was courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and produced outstanding results. At the end of each day, he left the room clean. I am very pleased with the results. Even with the discount that was provided, I thought the price was high but it was worth it because Brian was dedicated to my job and was not pulled off the job to work elsewhere. Five stars. Again here we go with the never ending bath tub install. Kohler wrote to me for a survey. I was honest about my installation. I was told I had to go back to USA bath. Noooooooo anything but that please. I'm now being told my bath tub model does not have a heating element. Jim the service manager is no longer with the company and where is what I was sold. As stated, I talked to the owner originally. No an installer who was moved up to service manager is telling me my design didn't come with heat. This is the 5th quarter in the football game and now you're calling a foul. I will be taking this further this time. Every time they come here it's a different story. Apparently me expecting a a small bit of customer service would be too much of a stretch. I literally paid too much for the headaches and service I've received. Russell, Your response is extremely disingenuous. If you were truly apologetic a return phone call would have been in order. At least out of simple common courtesy but even more so in this situation. But no. If you are committed to improving your communication a phone call would be a good start. Your service requires a lot of enhancing. It's funny that your technician was scheduled between 1:00 and 2:00 but showed up at 3:15 is considered arriving on schedule. The real kicker however is your insistence on being paid before performing work? I take my car in for an oil change, they perform the service then I pay them. I go to a restaurant and order my meal, have it cooked for me, brought to me, I consume my meal and then ;pay for it. My HVAC technician shows up to my home and performs an 80 step maintenance check and then I pay him. My accountant prepares my taxes and submits them before I pay him, but no your guy won't do any work until he gets paid first? How is it that a corner shelf in the shower that has lost its seal and fallen off is not covered under the lifetime warranty? How is it that the drain on the bathtub cannot be removed, even your technician before he quit working couldn't get it off by hand and stated he would need his tools because it is stuck not covered under the lifetime warranty? I look forward to discussing this and more, that's if you are truly interested in enhancing your service and quality. You know my number. read more

Lifetime warranty is a joke. They remodeled our bathroom and left a hole in the wall we paid to be repaired. Took several calls to get a refund because we ended up having to repair ourselves. Then 3 years later we were organizing the shelf under our sink only to find there's been a slow leak for who knows how long (definitely over a year). We call to use our 100% warranty to be told that's not covered. The issue isn't wear and tear and leaking from the pop-up rod. I believe it is either faulty or installed incorrectly, but USA does not care. Also, not sure anything but our shower walls are covered under warranty. Never again using this company. Way too much money for a crappy job and no warranty we were promised. read more

The best thing was they did the demo and installation the same day all the while showing progress of work done. John explained what was going on, showing us what was next, we had no doubts about the work. John also cleaned up the work areas inside and outside. I was asked by US Bath for a review: Firstly: Yes, I signed the contract. I should have gotten more quotes on my bathrooms... I found out too late that I am paying at least DOUBLE what others would charge for the same quality products and a more thorough job. I cannot recommend the use of US Baths through Home Depot... it is ridiculously expensive and the bathrooms are NOT complete. It took about 4 MONTHS before work began on bath #1. After they 'finished' the job, I had to do the touch up paint, put in my own new vanity, sink, faucet, etc.). The gentleman that did the work was professional and very nice. It is the Home Depot/US Bath situation that I'm not happy about. This is my honest and truthful review & opinion. Bath #2. The following week (a different worker); and An even worse experience. Neither of these bathrooms are $18,000 nice, especially bath #2. This total project cost 36K (both vanities & toilets were already mine), and I had to fix the damage to the walls from their demolition and do the painting myself (see pictures attached). The worker used a saw IN my bedroom/bathroom. This does not seem right and did not occur during my 1st bathroom project (he did all the cutting outside). There was sawdust EVERYWHERE!! This caused my asthma to exacerbate!! The coughing and inhaler use was constant..... luckily I know a Respiratory Care Practitioner that helped me improve my breathing! To top things off, I was witness to very inappropriate & unprofessional behavior by a manager & worker in which I felt necessary to file a complaint. I am pretty upset by the entire situation and deeply regret signing a contract with US Bath- Home Depot. Sadly, I simply cannot recommend this company. The materials and installation of my shower are fantastic. They are solid, maintainable, and will last. I'm getting older so we got a grab bar and a folding chair in the shower. My advice is to get the largest shower pan that will fit, not the same size you have now. We also got a premium speakman shower valve, and a niche that I really appreciate. Kudos to Phillip, the experienced friendly installer had to really work hard to get the niche to fit where we wanted it due to limitations of framing and pipes behind the shower. Now my shower is nice like the best hotels. I is really satisfying to have the shower modernized after 30-years! read more

Seemed like he didn't even want to sell us a shower remodel. And then when we were looking over acrylic and he seemed impatient when we said we wanted to think it over. He said well I thought you said you liked everything. We let him know we got another estimate offering the same things for a little less money. But what I should have told him to his face was that the other company was much friendlier. We liked your product a lot, and would have went with it, if the customer service had been better. After 5 years the glass in our shower exploded leaving 2 inches of tiny glass shards in our shower and throughout our bathroom. Research online indicated that this is generally due to a manufacturing defect in the glass or a mistake done by the installer. We paid a lot for this shower installation and I assumed that USA Bath which trumpets their lifetime guarantee in their sales pitch would stand behind their products. I was informed that the glass supplier they used was no longer in business and that the USA Bath warranty was only 3 years. This would not have been an expensive fix for them to do and a company that truly cared about the integrity of their product would have arranged to stop by next time an installer was in the area and replaced the glass. This shows what type of company they really are. If someone had been in the shower when the glass exploded, injuries would have occurred (can you imagine standing naked in 2 inches razor sharp glass) We would be filing an injury lawsuit instead of simply asking to replace the glass. Do not trust your expensive bathroom remodel to these guys. Their integrity is only as deep as the small print in the contract. read more

For the price we paid $18,000 for two bathrooms and minimal 'extras' I give USA baths 'Quality' a "2". The workmanship was a definite "10". The craftsman was skilled, professional, courteous and did the best job he could with the product he received. Let me first warn you...when they make you sign that contract that some of your 'panels', items may not match on color due to the manufacturing process, there is a definite reason for this. Pictures to follow. Our shower tray and corner unit were definitely 'different' colors than the rest of our enclosures. It's an eyesore. Especially the tub corner unit. Also the drain in our shower is 'off center' by at least 2". NOT where our plumber had it centeted. ..USA bath actually had to move our plumbing to accommodate the uncentered drain in the drain pan ( instead of ordering another with it properly placed) After waiting over "3" months for our $18,000 bathrooms I am 'less than satisfied' with the results. Our concerns were listened to but 'of course'...nothing could be done we had signed a contract. read more
