My normal salon has been closed for renovations for weeks and my nails were in awful condition. I could not wait any longer and I was able to make an appt with Lily for a Saturday afternoon with a few days notice. First thing to note my driving directions indicated they were by the Smoke Shop but they are on the other side of the parking lot (Woodys side). Parking on either side works as they are the last shop in the row before you cross the driveway. It is a smaller shop and they spend time on the details. Lily did an excellent job with frequently checking in with me on my preferences. She had really good suggestions as well to pull the Pinterest look I showed her together while making it more simplified. If you use card there is a $1 fee or you can play via Zelle or Cash. The ladies who worked there are super close knit and the family vibe is refreshing to very busy salons where you don't get to know your technician. Really cute and nice store they are appointment only so be sure to give them a call! read more

It was my first time going to Rose's nails and I had a very pleasant experience! Lisa (Lily) was very friendly and when I was unsure if I would like the almond shaped nails she used a glue on nail and shaped it for me so I could see the shape on my actual nail before deciding. She let me know that if I decided on this shape it would take a while to change the shape due to the narrow sides, which I appreciated! First time here and I can definitely say that I will be back due to the services I was given at this nail salon today. I called in first to make sure they were open and had availability for the day and sure enough I was told to come in same day for my full set gel nails. Upon arrival, I was instantly greeted by Lisa who informed me to sign in and wait for the nail tech who gave me the appointment confirmation on the phone, who happens to be Katie. She was so kind and friendly, listened to my detailed request and fulfilled them. Not to mention, her work is super fast and neat! I was honestly so impressed by how fast she did my nails from removing my old gel polish, to filing & buffing, then putting on the actual acrylics took no more than 20-30 minutes. All the ladies was super cool and nice there, the shop has a real homey atmosphere and you can definitely tell there was a lot of love between all the workers there which made me super comfortable and happy. The huge TV playing Disney movies were definitely a plus too and I love the fact that I only live 5 minutes away from here, I can't wait to come back! read more

I told her I wanted a French tip on my real nails since I grew them out specifically for this. We chatted a lot while she did my nails. I have only been here once, but I had a lovely experience getting my nails done by Lisa! I finally decided to go with coffin nails and they were absolutely beautiful. I honestly don't know why I've gone anywhere else... I started going to Rose's Nails this time last year. I've always loved acrylics, but being deeeeeep in the Inland Empire, it's super difficult to find nail techs that are as good as what we see on the gram. Katie and Lisa are both PERFECTIONISTS. From the shaping, to how they do their designs. I always come out with enviable nails. I've had to stray 2 to 3 times and try other places now that I work in Costa Mesa, and EVERY. TIME. I call Katie to fix me up. I absolutely despise anyone else touching my nails, and learn my lesson every time I go to someone other than my girl. lol. Not to mention, Rose's is extremely affordable. Really disappointed with my experience here. I was really hoping for a good experience based off the other reviews. I went in for a pedicure and eyebrow waxing. I was almost immediately cut with a nail file on my toe and she put, I have no idea what, on it after cutting it. It's one thing to have a cuticle cut, accidents happen. This was carelessness, not paying attention to what she was filing. My toe hurt the rest of the pedicure. To my disappointment, she was also who ended up waxing my eyebrows. I gave very clear instructions on how I wanted them. She made them incredibly thin, no arch, and waxed off the end of one of them so it's too short now as well. She let the wax cool way too much and was very rough when pulling it off. I've been having my eyebrows waxed for 10+ years and I have never winced the way I did today. I won't be surprised if my skin stays irritated for a few days now. When it was time to pay, she didn't tell me that there was a charge to use card. I know that's pretty standard but there was no sign about the charge and she didn't ask if I was ok with the charge. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back. I'm on my feet all day every day and was hoping for a relaxing spa day and I got the opposite. read more

If you're not a regular don't even bother coming here! If you've never been here they're so rude to you! Walked in it was EMPTY & they tell me it be an hour wait for a pedicure because they have appointments coming in. But in the window it says "walk in welcomes" . When I walked in I wasn't even greeted. It was like "what do u need, an hour wait" no smile or nothing. But when someone else walked in they were "hi how r u how's everything how'd it go last week" ya I'd rather wait and hour somewhere else then be treated like that. Literally walked in and walked out. Came with my mom to get two pedicures and a manicure for myself. Was instantly told that they would have to check their schedule, ok understandable (walked in at about 9:55am 25 minutes after opening). Upon checking their schedule was told that they could only accommodate one pedicure. I can understand that they may have a schedule in which they have to accommodate clients whom have already been booked but if you have a walk ins welcome sign then who accommodates the clients that come in without an appointment? Need less to say I am disappointed because they have great reviews but I will not be returning or giving this nail salon a second chance. And to top it off they weren't apologetic, they didn't try to make an appointment for a later date which makes me even more upset. All bad for business. read more
