    Loveseat style seating
    Margaret L.

Rosebud was a great date night spot. I'd walked by it before but didn't catch a movie until I saw they were showing "A Star is Born" which I'd been meaning to see for a while. We got there about 15 minutes before the show and there were plenty of open seats to choose from. I liked that they were showing previews for the older versions of "A Star is Born" before the show which gave us a sneak peak into the history. The loveseat style was pretty comfortable and good for coming with a date. I could see how it could be less ideal for groups of 3 or coming with friends. We liked being able to cozy up a bit though. The drink selection was pretty good although I wish they would give tap water. My fiancé ended up getting tea and they actually had 5 different ones to choose from. We also got pizza, popcorn and a hard cider. The pizza was pretty mediocre- probably just reheated and although we got the veggie one there were only a few veggies sprinkled on. We will definitely return but may stick to the drinks and popcorn next time.

So sick of the corporate theaters. Would much rather watch a movie at The Oriental, The Times or The Rosebud.

He purchased tickets well in advance. Staff was pleasant as they checked our tickets and took our concession order. Popcorn was yummy and who doesn't like a Coke Freestyle Machine? Our movie played in the "IMAX" which I think is just the largest screen available at the theater, it's definitely not an IMAX. I thought the picture was great, my husband felt it was a tad blurry. Sound was loud and enjoyable compared to home viewing. My rating falls due to the outdatedness of the theater itself. In the bathroom there were sinks and papertowel/soap dispensers not operational. The seats are "old school" as my husband put it... Plan to be sitting upright for however long your movie plus the pre movie ads/trailers go on. I guess I'm privileged in that I am now use to "dream lounger" seats and ample walkway space in each aisle. We sat in the middle section of the row, and lets just say if you have to get up to pee, every person will need to get up to accommodate. The floor was sticky. My husbands seat cushion was "broken" so he was particularly uncomfortable. Overall, AMC, please update this theater! It could use some TLC and I think with that, the location would have a resurgence of popularity as it is the only AMC in the area.

I'm pretty sure that all the theaters have the reclining dream loungers. Came to see the new Superman movie. We got a couple tickets for the DLX theater. Besides being a big larger than the normal screen, and seating, it's pretty typical. Has the reclining dream loungers. What I especially liked about this time was that it was not freezing code. You could actually sit without needing a blanket.

Date of visit: January 11, 2025…read more Once upon a time the Menomonee Falls cinema was the pinnacle of the Marcus moviegoing experience. Then the torch was passed on to the Ridge, and then the Majestic. Well the torch must have been passed on once again, because the Majestic is starting to show signs of wear and tear that would not have been tolerated even a couple years ago. The lobby remains grand and there are screens a plenty here, but some of the offerings have been pulled (miss the old ice cream shop!) or scaled back, such as the in-theatre dining. Word to the wise: Those auditoriums still have the large office chairs which really do not work so well. We were in a standard auditorium for "A Complete Unknown" and while our seats did work, the numbering was all jacked up and the armrest between us has seen better days. My fear is that this is going the way of AMC, which would just drive more people to watch movies at home, kicking off a vicious cycle.

I have enjoyed coming here and being a film member since Milwaukee Film took over. The theater building is unique and creative with the main theater holding some very unique architecture and decor. The theater has snacks and drinks for purchase, with some pretty good popcorn and the brewer's/nutritional yeast makes it great! There is no parking onsite; street parking only.
