My friend and I recently hung out at Rosebuds during a karaoke night and it was so much fun to watch! Our drinks and food were really good as well. Everyone was super friendly and when my friend wasn't sure what she wanted to drink, they gave recommendations. The bar itself is really cute too - there's plenty of space to spread out, there's a lot to do like play pool and darts, so it's more than just a bar. Will definitely be back. read more

I paid my tab and left but returned when the amount didn't add up in my head. I spoke to Aurora (I believe this is how you spell it) asking if she overcharged me and she went off on "we have cameras" to "the other lady said the food was suppose to be on my tab" to "I walked up and stood next to the lady at the same time" to admitting she did charge me the other lady's foot item and if I wanted my $6 and change back. No, I told her it was alright because I didn't want to cause a scene like she did by raising her voice and moving her arms in gesture and with the majority of the other bystanders stopped to look our way, I felt it was better to say "it's okay" and I left. My partner and I came to rosebuds from Wichita to see some friends perform in the local Drag show. We reserved a table in advance for $30, to make sure we had good seats. Once we arrived, we went to find our table. There were names written on boards on each table, and ours was nowhere to be found. I went and asked the bartender, and she knew where our table was. We were in the front, directly by the stage. People took over our reserved table and had erased our name. Ok, no biggie, it happens. The staff had them move and we were able to enjoy the show. We had a fun time, participating and tipping the performers as usual. I took out my compact to touch up my makeup, reapplying my powder to my face. We got up during the break to use the restroom and get a drink. The bouncer, Austin, rudely came up to me and started accusing me of using drugs while we were sitting at the table. Mind you, the table in front of EVERYONE! I showed him my compact and explained it was makeup, and he asked me "what am I gonna see if I go roll back the cameras?" I said exactly what I told you, and now I wanted to see the cameras. He refused and left. At this point I was angry with the situation, and reported it to the bartender. She was very nice all night and felt bad about the situation. Austin walked by, and I asked if he had the cameras ready to watch. He said he would just take my word for it. I insisted that we watch them, as I wasn't going to stand for these foolish allegations. He told me we were lucky he didn't kick us out. All things said, I will NEVER support or visit Rosebuds again. All we tried to do was visit a new city and try and support local entertainers. read more

Would not recommend if you take darts serious don't shoot here. Fluck darts. This place is all about bartenders and their friends. They rude ignorant and about their selves. U looking for a fight/argument go there. They off the beaten path. Save your money and go someplace else. Be surprised they open in the next year. Owners are amazing. The workers are a joke. Treat you like you a inconvenience. Avoid this place at all cost. They won't be open long. Normal j.c bar. Stay away... that's all I can say.... read more

I am very disappointed in this bar. My friends and I love to go out and have a good time. They had beer pong so that was a plus, but what started to make me upset was when I requested songs they didn't allow me to play my song because the DJ was too busy trying to play her song and sing karoke. The DJ and one of the ladies at the bar had a piss poor attitude. If you love to dance and have a good time, don't waste your time here. If the owner really cared about their bar they would pay for a better DJ and actually take the time to care about their customers. It's not worth it. Does the DJ work there or just mess around and sing karaoke all night? I just want to know. The DJ was trash. They played old country, and when we tried to request songs, the DJ told me that they were to backed up, but the DJ had time to sing 3 songs of her choice on stage. When I asked the bartender she stated that she was the owner and she can't control the DJ. Very much gave me call "bar rescue" vibes. read more

Well where to start, positives first... the chicken wings are good just be sure to cook a little more then usual. It's all Cisco food so most everything is what can be expected.now the issues and reason we don't go there. If I go in it's for a drink and shot during day but quit doing that because I spent the hole time watching staff clean and complain about the rest of staff. If I ever went in at night got the feeling I was an inconvenience and being talked about, i didnt feel safe to walk to my ,lighting is bad in parking lot.. I wish I could pin point one person to solve the uncomfortable situation but I have gotten that feeling everytime. Me and my partner go in and I get treated like I'm to stupid to understand there conversation. My partner gets all the attention and even a cuddle.The other night on Thursday we wanted to get a beer shot and maybe wings, went by at 10 they were closed! When online it states open till 2am. Let me be clear the OWNER of this bar Rayne is a wonderful person but her staff spend way to much time with there power struggle. The owner needs to clean house of employees and give the bar a scub and update. I really like when I walk in and see Rayne. Other then her, the level of professionalism lacks greatly. The back porch area has so much potential. It would be a great area to sit and enjoy to sit at a table and eat. Put smoking area on the lower level. This bar looked promising online, came to it and noticed a smashed front door(should've been the first sign to turn around) once getting inside it was nothing but 80-90's slow song karaoke... we asked if we could get some modern music up and going for our party of 10. The "DJ'S" two females gave nothing but a hard time and we were luckily to get a PRT of a song every 20 minutes... they would play it for 30 seconds max and it was just shitty... mind you there is maybe 20-25 people total in the bar, our party of ten is out here buying rounds of shots and mixed drinks and just getting treated like shit on the "music side" bar side has and was excellent all night well this just leaves us to aggieville since junction city has been crap... read more

Let's start with the fact that the music was not it. Lack of taste!!! They played old country and it was very slow and depressing. The DJ doesn't do her job or allow you to request music. When my friend spoke to the owner, or so called owner (the bouncer Told me the owner wasn't there tonight) but this lady lied and said she was the owner claimed she had no way to address the DJ about the music. When the owner sees this, I hope you aren't letting your team run your bar to the ground because they had no care for their customers . read more
