It's a cute market with a deli and meat counter, and what seemed like every type of liquor you've ever seen. Service was very friendly, particularly at the deli counter and register. I got a sub, that was like biting into the past (in a good way). I worked at Kmart for many years, and Schott's has nailed it. I got a few other prepared things that was good, and I'll have to come back for the pizza up front. This is a cool, funky little place that deserves a visit.

The staff was friendly and even let me try a free sample of one of the items I was unsure about. I ordered their bbq wings, it came with two sides. I got Mac&cheese and yams. My only complaint is that the yams were very very stringy. Because i stayed 30 minutes from the location I could not drive back right away. I called and the Chef Mike apologized and offered to provide me another side when I do return. The food was also very reasonable priced for good shareable portions.

I tasted and then bought some simple potato gnocchi, cooked it at home that night and it was incredible. Very delicate and soft. I also bought a couple of canonoli and those didn't make it home. :) They were that good. If you haven't had locally made fresh pasta you need to treat yourself. Unlike dried up grocery store pasta, this is pasta that you want to sauce lightly so you can taste and feel it.

Their prices were competitive with other stores in the area and I snagged a beautiful wooden salad bowl for only $20!!!! Our family really enjoyed shopping here and we will definitely return. It bares mentioning to Aldi newbies that it costs 25 cents (a quarter specifically) to use a shopping cart. However, when you finish shopping and return your cart to the corral, you will receive your quarter back. It also bares mentioning that they do not bag your items in shopping bags at Aldi. You can either bring your own bags or they have boxes you can place your items in yourself, after checkout.
