And then, suddenly, before I knew it -- while keeping the far back fairly long -- she had chopped the sides and front shockingly short. She then stuck gel in it until it was crispy and dry. I had to go home and wash and deep-condition it immediately. Velma is very nice -- hence the two stars -- but that is it. She spoke about retiring -- she's older -- and perhaps that is an issue: that once she was good but should not be cutting hair anymore if she cannot follow directions -- even those she has repeated herself.
