I'd either Uber/Lyft into the city or hop on the blue line and go into the city. CTA has its ups and downs. One station is no different really than another metro location. Maybe the further you are from the city you can expect more bus spots and individual car parking spots. This is one of those instances! Physically this is a great station. As far as CTA goes on scheduling and routes that's not the point of this review. Don't put ketchup on your Chicago style hot dog.

It took me almost no time to check in and get through security then get to my gate because the signage is posted up well. There are several food courts throughout the place too so it's easy to find a place to eat. I really had no trouble, and the bathrooms were fairly clean too. Compared to some other big/hub airports that really have a lot of issues (e.g. the Vegas Airport), O'Hare is actually doing a pretty good job.

All these things are basic essentials in this day in age for modern public transportation in a major city. I can appreciate the importance of having the service readily available and accessible to the public, but providing guidance and safety to all who ride these trains should also be the importance of the administration that operates them. The Chicago transportation Authority needs to do better. I'm a bit disappointed in the conditions of these trains and how they run.

Thankfully after an online internet search, we found a Standard Parking lot within walking distance of the convention center. Although the OFFICIAL address of this parking lot is 5801 N River Rd, Rosemont, IL, our GPS could not find a parking lot located at this address. We figured out that the actual address of this parking lot is exactly where the Rosemont Blue Line CTA stop is. ***The EXACT location of this parking lot is the PARK AND RIDE at the Rosemont Blue line stop.*** You can't miss it. For 14 hours you only need to pay $7. Plenty of parking spots. There is a kiosk to pay your ticket before you leave the lot. Make sure you keep your ticket because that will be your ticket to exit the lot. Very easy and convenient parking lot to park for those that don't want to take the blue line train but also don't want to pay the ridiculous parking prices at the convention center. Its a short walk to the convention center from the Rosemont train station parking lot location and I highly recommend it!

It's a big hotel which has plenty of rooms for the different sessions I attended. They have a buffet and bar area plus a coffee shop. The room were nice. I stayed in one of the towers with a king bed. Plenty of space and it was nice and clean. The staff were all so friendy and helpful. Parking is additional but very easy to get in and out.

It's not super obvious but you go up the escalators/stairs to check in on the second floor. Check in went fairly quickly and there's water in the check in area. Assigned a room on the 10th floor and glass elevators moved quickly. Hotel rooms all face inside; similar to a Embassy Suites. The room was clean and spacious but the toilet has a foot flush pedal which was a little weird. Hotel is also undergoing some renovations so perhaps it will be different in the upcoming year. This was a nice conference venue but not too much else. It's pretty far from downtown (1+ hour in traffic, 25 min without). There isn't a ton of casual seating space like I've seen in other Hyatts but there is some general spaces and coffee shop market with tables. Didn't spend much time in the bar area but it's pretty central and seemed like it was pretty active there every night.
