Never personally stayed an evening at this hotel, so I cannot speak to the actual rooms; however, I've been coming to this hotel for YEARS now for the 100 Black Men of Orlando Scholarship banquet. I've attended, mostly, as a recipient of the scholarship award during my collegiate years for the annual banquet/scholarship dinner they host every summer. In my later years, I've attended as a guest or volunteer. I've also visited for various other events and conventions. Nonetheless, it's always a really nice experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is ample parking. The hotel is fairly easy to navigate. There have nice sized pool and an outdoor seating area. There's also a restaurant and bar - so it is a good one-stop shop if you are a guest of the hotel. It is also a great EVENT space. read more

We went to Rosen Centre for Mother's Day bruch and had a great time. They have a reception area where you can hang out while waiting for your table. They had mimosas available to sip on and a photo backdrop with props. Once seated we were given a map (yes, a map for a buffet) so that we could navigate to all of the stations. When we were first discussing going to this brunch I was hesitant because it was $73 a person. I did not realize that the $73 included things like tomahawk steak, sushi and crab legs to name a few. Oh, it also included unlimited mimosas! There were probably at least 200 dishes available between all of the stations. The dessert station was amaazing as well, there was a huge variety of sweets and a section just for no sugar added and gluten free options. I recently staid at the Rosen Centre Hotel for the NNA 2026 conference. I arrived late in the evening. The staff was quick to get me checked in and on my way to my room. I was placed in room on the top floor. After all day of traveling I just wanted to get in and get to bed. The room was clean and well maintained. There were multiple light switched around the room for different lights. The room included a closet near the bathroom. The room was equipped with a hair dryer, ironing board with iron, mini fridge & coffee maker. Like many higher end hotels, microwaves are not available in room. However, they have a 24 hour deli/convince store that provides a microwave for use with the purchase of frozen or refrigerated meals which was nice. There was a bit of a language barrier between the housekeeping staff but they did a good job servicing the room while out at the conference. The hotel had a beautiful pool with 2 hot tubs and they remained open daily until midnight. The hotel has alot of conference space, a gift shop, a few bars & restaurants, spa & gym. There is a $15 charge for gym access for hotel guests. Parking runs $40/night for self parking or $53/night for valet. The hotel offers bell service, room service, mail & laundry service. Unfortunately alot of the restaurants closed before the posted hours or lacked in guest service, room service was subpar and pricey for what we ordered. Overall it was a nice stay. read more

The hotel is convenient to the conference rooms or the convention center across the way. There is a deli inside that makes quick sandwiches and has plenty of snacks. The conference areas are spacious and clean and have lots of nice little sitting nooks. The rooms are just ok. No microwaves and the water pressure was deplorable in our room. All week they were cutting the ceiling a few doors down and replacing pipe and had buckets on the floor, was hoping it would help water pressure but it didn't. 9 days of having to spend 10 minutes rinsing your hair because the water pressure is so low and freezing because there's not enough water should really be looked into. The room was a typical room but the conference areas and extra spaces are great. The pool is small and adequate but nothing special. Our stay would have been 5 stars if our room had water pressure. Needs updating--outside and in. While it is a great convention space the carpet everywhere is outdated and had a smell on the floor we were on. The rooms are nice overall but the thermostat is older than I am and the shower area is dimly lit to make it harder to see the brown stains in the tub, I assume. The restaurant and bar options are nice...when they are open. We were there on a Friday night and all but one closed at about 8 pm. On Saturday afternoon only the pool bar was open until thunder was heard somewhere and they made everyone vacate the pool area. You also have to pay an expensive amount for parking. The major pros is that the customer service is great and the food served at the conference we attended was exceptional. For a vacation spot we would find another resort...like the Wave in Lake Nona. They have restaurants, stores, pool, conference rooms, bars, coffee shops, and more. If you're one of those rare people who travel and don't like leaving the hotel, this place is for you. They literally have anything and everything you can need. Though it's an older property, it's been renovated and the rooms are clean and spacious. The pool is large, welcoming, and clean. Disgusting unclean hotel. Upon arriving, I got offered a room with 2 queen beds, whereas my friends who arrived later were given a VIP suite- why? Not sure about their criteria when we were all supposed to have the same bedroom. When I arrived in my room I found hair in the sink which was not mine. I was too tired to complain and change rooms. The customer service at the bar is lacking and they need training. They serve drinks on unclean foggy glassware and my friend's glass had lipstick stain on it, and when she asked for a clean glass they never apologized for the dirty glass. The hotel is full of teens who are going to the parks and running around with pizza boxes and Gatorade. Loud and lines to take the elevator- I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. read more

Stayed here a couple times for work conferences and it's a good hotel for solely that purpose. You can tell in how it's setup that it's meant to be more of a business hotel. There are dozens of conference rooms, salons and big ballroom areas. They have several dining options both sit down and grab and go, as well as a little market to get other stuff, though it's quite expensive. But honestly, overall I have not been impressed with experiences at the Rosen Centre. Both times I've had issues at check-in because it was booked through my work and they tried to say my reservation wasn't paid for even though it had been booked and paid for literally almost a year in advance. Not to mention, my second time staying there I found hairs on multiple towels in the bathroom- so much for being freshly clean. It was really gross and made me not want to stay there anymore. The parking can also be confusing if you drive your own car- at the front of the hotel is only for valet but there's no signs or instructions where to go for self parking. When you finally find it around back you have to stop at the security guard shack and tell them why you're there, and they never seemed to believe that I was there for a work conference. I'm glad they have security but it was a bit much. And if you weren't in Orlando for a work reason, this isn't the best place to stay anyway. They have a decent pool area but there are far better options hotel wise with similar pricing in the area. read more

While this place is huge and walkable to the Orange County Convention Center...it is old, they charge you for everything, the restaurants are terrible (bad food, bad service, dated ambiance), parking is a long walk away (and expensive), the rooms are tiny and there's no blackout curtains either. Literally this place must have been cool when my grandparents were coming to Orlando, but Rosen Center, Rosen. Plaza, Rosen Inn at Shingle Creek, Rosen Aquatic Center, Rosen Hospice and Rosen Cemetery are all needing an update. You kinda get Rosen-sick in this part of Orlando. Just musty old properties that charge $12 for a bottle of water and $57 for overnight parking. I wish conventions and conferences would pick somewhere other than Orlando. But hey...lots of electric mobility scooters! So there's a win. read more

This is a great hotel, especially if you're attending or competing at the Orange County Convention Center. The sky bridge that connects directly to the convention center is extremely convenient and makes getting back and forth a breeze. The hotel offers plenty of food options, including a quick-serve market with pizza and fresh deli sandwiches at very reasonable prices, along with several sit-down restaurants. There's also a coffee bar on site. Amenities include a rental car facility, self-service guest laundry, a gift shop, and vending and ice machines on every floor. The lobby has lots of comfortable seating areas. The pool area is very nice with hot tubs, and the hotel also has a spa, which is a great bonus after a long day. Our room had a great view of the Orlando Eye, which was a nice bonus. The hotel is very clean and incredibly convenient overall. Just be aware that there is a service charge for incidentals at check-in and a fee for parking. For a 4-Star hotel (per google), this hotel is very underwhelming. First off the parking is $28 per day for self parking. On top of that, it is about a 0.2 mile walk to get it the lobby from the parking structure. If you decided to do valet, it's $40 per day. The hotel itself and rooms are nice and clean. However the amenities in the room felt like they were missing. There was no microwave in the room--closest one was back in the lobby. Water refill stations were either in the fitness center (if it was open) or a water fountain in the lobby. Finally, the breakfast is NOT included with the stay. For the price that was paid, daily parking fee, and a 4-star hotel, I am not going to pay for breakfast when there so many great breakfast restaurants nearby. I stayed at the Rosen Centre Hotel in January during the AHRI Convention the largest HVAC event in the U.S. held at the Orange County Convention Center and overall it was a solid 4-star experience. This hotel opened in 1995 and is part of Rosen Hotels & Resorts, a family-owned business founded by HarrisRosen back in 1974. It's a huge property with 1,334 rooms, 80 suites, and over 160,000 square feet of meeting space. It connects directly to the convention center via a skywalk, so getting back and forth between sessions couldn't have been easier. From the moment I checked-in to check-out, it felt like the staff lived up to the so-called "Rosen Difference", warm, efficient, genuinely helpful service. My room was spacious, the shower generous, and the bed super comfortable. Everywhere I looked from the lobby to the bars and restaurants, felt spotless and well-kept, which, to me, speaks volumes . The lobby shop was a lifesaver. Called "The Shoppe," it's perfect for grabbing snacks, toiletries, or a quick drink when time is tight between sessions. And lunch or dinner options were plentiful. The hotel has nine restaurants, ranging from fine‑dining places like the Everglades to casual spots like CaféGauguin, sushi at Banshoo, tapas at 98 Forty, poolside fare at Harry's, and even a 24‑hour deli. I enjoyed having all of those right there no need to leave the building after a busy day. For downtime, the hotel didn't disappoint either. There's a full-service spa with massages, facials, a steam room and relaxation lounge. The outdoor pool is Olympic-sized (heated in January), complete with whirlpools and a poolside bar. There's also a 24‑hour fitness center stocked with cardio machines, weights, and strength equipment. What stood out most for me was how businesslike yet comfortable everything felt. The common areas had a professional sheen and felt geared toward productivity, but they were also inviting. Walking back to the convenience of my room after a long day was a treat, and the short walk to the convention center was ideal. Price-wise, it's on the higher side. But for someone attending a major convention, the convenience alone justifies the cost. Plus, everything being so clean, well appointed, and staffed with trained professionals made the stay feel worthwhile. The hotel seems to draw both business travelers and tourists, likely because it's so close to the parks and entertainment options on International Drive. I definitely saw families heading out after their stay here. All things considered, I'd give the Rosen Centre Hotel a strong four stars. If your trip to Orlando is business-focused, especially one centered on a convention, this place is hard to beat. It checks all the boxes spacious, clean, convenient, and full of amenities. This is one of the most accessible hotels I have ever been too. Arrived for a weekend conference and the rooms are huge, (unless you get stuck in the overflow with Murphy beds), the baths are well appointed and the front desk/bell staff amazingly professional and helpful. The re are several restaurants onsite to choose from but the conference rooms have limited restrooms near them and the ones closest to my conference had only one fully accessible stall that the staff kept placing a giant garbage can into and this prevented it from begging fully accessible for a wheelchair. I repeatedly had to ask the staff to remove it and every day it was placed back into the accessible stall. I also tip really well and left cash tips every day for the hotel staff that cleaned my room. I left notes requesting extra towels and tea bags (since I don't drink coffee) and it took 2 days and asking three times before I got tea bags left at my door because one day the staff removed all of them and only left coffee. I mentioned this to the front desk staff as well and never got my extra towels. I think the cleaning staff rushed the job every day because my room sheets were never changed and extras like TP was never provided until I asked. Very frustrating to get back to my room after a long day and have to bother someone to get what I asked for in the morning. Several members of the conference also got food poisoning from the catering which made me worry because I had dined there as well. Thankfully I avoided this outcome. Parking was valet or self park but there were not a lot of accessible spots close to the front door. Most of them were a long way in the parking garage. This resort is connected to the convention center right off of international drive so a very busy place with lots of conferences going on simultaneously. My views from the 19th floor were spectacular! Overall I would give this place 4 stars for accessibility but 3 stars overall. read more

I stayed here for three nights for a convention that was happening downstairs and it was a fabulous stay!! Reasons why: (1) Super convenient to stay at the hotel where the conference is being held... just a short walk around the corner from the lobby elevators each day. (2) there's a variety of food options, from low priced take out to high end restaurants (3) their market offers snacks and drinks 24/7 (4) friendly staff (5) clean rooms. They replaced the broken mini fridge quickly (6) plenty of security walking around the convention center (7) their pool was huge and clean. (8) car rental agencies on site. Stayed here for a conference in August 2024. I liked that this hotel was attached to the convention center via a sky bridge. Even through a tropical storm, this covered bridge shielded us from significant rainfall. The room was great, clean, and had a view out towards sea world - enjoyed relaxing and watching the fireworks. There was a small coffee maker and a mini fridge. We stay here a few times a year for volleyball tournaments at the convention center. This is one of my favorite hotels because it has a covered walkway and covered parking. I statyed at the Rosen for a volleyball tournament. We stayed at the hotel for a total of 5 days. On the third day, we had 3 iPhones plugged in using Apple chargers into the outlets in the room. All 3 phones were fried at the same time. They would not charge or come on. We notified the front desk. They sent in maintenance. The maintenance department sent in an electrician. He stated that the outlet was not working and that he would return once the problem was fixed. He returned and the outlets were working. The hotel manager Stewart stated that it was not the hotels fault and that the electictral was fine. It was not fine and fried 3 of our iPhones. If there was no problem then why did the electrican come back to the room? The manager at the hotel did not offer any compensation or take any fault. He simple said it was not his fault. Outlets not working properly is a fire hazard. We had a few other players on our team have problems with their tv going out. This hotel is really convenient when playing tournaments at the convention center. My advice is proceed with caution. I will not be returning to this hotel. The hotel manager is not concerned with the safety of his guest and lacks customer service to handle situations that happen at the hotel. read more

We stayed in this hotel for two nights and the only reason was the closeness to convention which it was happening in this building. The room was ok but outdated. Front desk first day was very helpful and the last day when i asked them what is the charge for $14.48 they told me it was probably glitch and they removed it...We came back and i saw a charge in my bank account and when i asked for explanation they said we listened to music on TV for six hours and i told them we werent in the room for that much long and while we had two rooms we werent use that room except for sleeping there! I didnt like that they charged me without my consent and when i asked them in person they told me it was a glitch and when i came back they told me third party told them it was 6 hours usage. It's a great looking hotel attached to the Orange County Convention Center via a SkyWalk. You are able to walk to the Hyatt Hotel using Sky Bridges which made everything accessible. There are dining options, stores, etc. The store was pretty pricy for chips, etc. I'm glad though that at least in a pinch you are able to get food, drink and snacks on the go. Agree with many of the other reviews, for a 4 star hotel this was very underwhelming. Right from the start I could tell there was poor customer service. I had a completely different check-in experience than the customers at the next window. The staff member simply handed me my key and told me where the elevators were. So abrupt with no additional commentary. Finding out where to go for parking or getting a cart to bring our luggage to the room was very confusing and no one was very helpful. We had to track people down. And then they were rude about it like we should've known what to do our first time there. Same poor experience at the breakfast buffet restaurant, staff was dismissive and bordering on rude. We stayed here for a volleyball convention. Came to the hotel for a convention and agreed with the choice of location. It was a nice hotel and our space was great for what we needed. I self parked and that was a tad of a nuisance. There were no clear signs for the self parking garage. There was a security booth, but they were not tripping over themselves to open a window or door to answer questions. Finally stopped an employee (suit and name badge game him away) as to where I needed to go. After parking, there was what felt like a mile walk to the lobby to check in. It may not have been that long, but after a a day at Epcot it sure felt like it. At check in, the employee was friendly and quick to get me to my room. I got a room right next to the elevators and my feel thank you for that. My room was nice, comfy beds and okay view. It is better at night to see the lights at Sea World and on I-4 while decompressing from the day. For me it was cozy. My issue in the bathroom. The door swings within an inch or so of the toilet so beware or that, and my shower had the worst water pressure. It made washing difficult. I did have an issue at check-in when I was told that my company's credit card that held the room had been "declined" and they had no room for me...but my colleagues' rooms, which were all reserved on the same card, were fine (also, why wasn't anyone at my company contacted and told about the issue?). ROACHES!! I woke up to a cockroach crawling across my FACE, near my nose and mouth, while staying at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando in June 2025. When I turned the lights on, more roaches were visible. I documented everything with photos and video. Despite this clear health and hygiene violation, management refused to issue a refund for the 5-night stay. I was offered a "discount on one night" initially and then it changed to a single night refunded, as a "good faith" gesture, and was told there would be no further discussion. When I calmly asked how having cockroaches on your body while sleeping doesn't merit a full refund as it's a blatant health code violation, I was met with dismissiveness, gaslighting, and condescension. It took DAYS for anyone to even return my phone calls/emails. The general manager, Doug raised his voice, stating he was shutting down the conversation, and siding with his staff, even after I explained that a previous manager, Stuart, had misrepresented his authority, refused to provide me with anyone in a higher position who would review my experience and hung up on me when I asked to record our conversation for documentation. (Doug stated he listened in on this conversation, seems as though he took no issue with manager Stuart's approach. I am guessing this is why I was hung up on when I asked if the line wasn't already recorded if I could record for documentation of the conversation (for credit dispute). I have nothing to hide, management apparently does. This isn't only about customer service--it's about basic health standards. Pest-free lodging is not optional. This experience was unsanitary, unacceptable, and traumatic. The hotel's refusal to acknowledge the severity of my experience and brushing it off as an "inconvenience" and "we looked into it" is deeply troubling. It may have been uncomfortable and even unwanted for Stuart and Doug to hear my egregious experience but it was far worse to live it and then to have to be denied a refund of stay simply because the hotel does not feel that cockroaches on a guests face warrants one. I did not ask to or agree to take a chance that I'd wake to a roach on my face. (And the potential for one to crawl into my ears, nose, mouth, which all would require medical attention- roaches don't crawl backwards...they have to be removed!) The Rosen Hotel Group is holding firm to being ok with vile roaches on their guests and has also replied to my other reviews stating "based on the details available we believe the resolution offered was appropriate for the situation" ...I shared with them the videos photos of the roaches. Apparently it's not egregious and vile enough! You'd assume a hotel of the Rosen Hotels claimed caliber of hospitality excellence would view even one roach to be enough, but one on the face while a guest sleeps with proof of other multiple roaches in the stay merits a mere discount offer and unprofessionalism from management not wanting to deal with the hassle and details of a complaint. Avoid Rosen Hotels & Resorts and specifically Rosen Centre. Read the many other reviews about roaches and unprofessional management. Another person is our party had to have their room moved the first night of stay for having a roach...we were 16 floors apart. This is clearly a recurring issue being ignored. The same generated hotel response that gets posted under all reviews regarding pests is a big indicator. The Rosen Shingle Creek was reserved for the coaches, and the competitors were sent to the Centre. This hotel seems to mainly do conferences and events as it is attached to the Orlando Convention Center, and the hotel itself has lots of large ballrooms. That being said, I'm not entirely convinced that the hotel is set up to handle its capacity efficiently. There is inadequate check in parking, so we ended up parking in the lot and walking to check in. Check in took 30 minutes due to the long lines, although I heard horror stories of people waiting 90-120 minutes! There are only 10 elevators for guests, so you can be waiting for a long time during the prime hours around meals, check in and check out. The room itself was fine. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were the right density. The air conditioner was powerful. One of the bedside lamps did not work, and one of the USB ports also seemed to not work. The noise from the hallway was pretty loud. The bathroom was a bit outdated. The sink tended to run very hot, and the shower had poor flow and also ran cold. I bought breakfast at the 24 hour convenience store/bodega on the 1st floor. The hot food was generic but served quickly. The prices are standard for a hotel lobby. It's a short walk to Denny's, where you can eat for less, if you have the time for a sit down breakfast. I only paid $106/night, so I'm not complaining too much, but I advise anyone staying here to give yourself a lot of time to get around the place and check in. read more

Management support lacking. Error with reservation. Hotels. Com willing to refund or change reservation date with Rosen's approval. Manager less than courteous and caring and advised they would not assist, and money spent on hotel stay was lost. Will NOT book with them again. read more
