I honestly love the hotel and how convenient it is to the parks. It's pretty clean and has a convenient cafe downstairs. BUT! Walls are paper thin here. We got a noise complaint and we were just up talking at indoor voice level and our tv volume was up to only 10. We've traveled a lot and that's never happened before. This resort is a total win. Its biggest selling point? You're practically on the doorstep of Epic Universe. The shuttle ride is a nice 5-6 minutes; while I noticed some neighboring hotels seemed to have a higher frequency of buses, these still arrived at a steady enough clip to keep us moving. The lobby is a highlight, the market setup is brilliant. You can order a hot meal or hit the grab-and-go side for quick snacks, all with plenty of indoor and poolside seating. Though some of the food is hit or miss our family mostly liked the cheeseburger, pepperoni pizza and the chicken strips, other items were not as popular with us. Don't skip the gift shop either; it's like a "Greatest Hits" collection of park merch in case you forgot a souvenir. The rooms nailed the "space chic" vibe. The "space couch" was a clever touch for extra storage and lounging, and the ambient lighting was a vibe. But the real star was our view of Epic Universe lighting up at night! I had a great stay here! My friends and I are thankful we didn't experience any of the negative things we read about in some reviews. Front counter staff made us feel as if they were really happy to see us! The rooms were very clean and a nice size. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom could've been a little bigger but it was good. I had a view of Helios and Epic from my room! A/C and water pressure were all great! Food at the café was very good. Pricey but that's to be expected and actually was not that far off of prices everywhere when you think about it. Ex: $9 for a (better quality) bacon, egg and cheese breakfast bagel. That's almost the same price at McDonald's, BK, Wendy's and DD. Shuttles ran frequently and to all surrounding parks! All in all great stay! ---------- 2nd stay 11/22/2025 and I'm still loving it! We came here at the end of July. This is one of Universal's newest resorts since they opened this year for the Epic Universe section of the parks. It is the most affordable of the resorts in the Epic Universe area. For a first time stay at a Universal resort, this was great! After spending a few days at Disney, we made our way over to this Universal resort since we wanted to visit 3 of its theme parks. We booked our stay in advance and also saved a bit because of my passholder discount. When we were deciding where to stay, we opted for Terra Luna because of its proximity to the newest park -- Epic Universe even though we did plan to spend two days at the other parks. Immediately when we came in, we noticed how spacious the resort was. Beds were comfy. Mirror lighting was great! We actually enjoyed our stay here more than our stay at Disney. The rooms were spacious, modern, and space themed, which we really love! We also got to check-in a few hours early (1:30 pm). The staff here was very helpful, too and communicated necessary information over text as well. We stayed on one of the top floors - 8th floor at the very end of the hall, which was pretty cool because of the unique shape of the resort. The bathroom door that we had required some effort to close, but other than that, everything else was great! We didn't get to check out the food options, pool, or fitness room since we spent most of our days at the parks, but I definitely suggest checking it out if you are free. The fitness area looked very modern and the pool area looked beautiful. Transportation was also easy. The buses were practically always waiting and if they weren't, the buses will be there within 10 minutes (at most). It was less than a 10 minute drive to get to Epic and maybe a 15-20 minute drive to get to Universal/Islands of Adventure/City Walk. We will definitely come here again if we are in Orlando! read more

From Epic -Lady that's name started with a M at the service desk was nice and trying to help, which I really appreciate but the issues we had a new hotel are just unacceptable. Cons: -AC barely worked at all (it was a hot night...) -Music from pool was blaring! I called and complained over the phone at 10 pm though I think that music down there should be turned off at 9 pm. It was barely lowered and it took me going down to the lobby for them to finally turn it DOWN! I was very upset with this, especially for traveling with two kids. I even offered for them to come to the room to hear how loud it was, they did not take me up on this (which makes me feel like they already knew). They said they were full (so could not switch us rooms). Then they told me that the pool and music are not shutting down until 11 but they will lower it again. I was back up to the room by around 10:30ish and they finally had turned it down. But this was not a good experience regardless... this hotel allows early access to parks. We had to be up early the next day and the whole reason why we stayed here was because of this. Just NOT OKAY! I would never blare music at the pool that late and it should be completely turned off at 8 or 9 pm as most people are going to bed to wake up early for the parks the next day. In addition to that the walls are PAPER thin here. Especially compared to Royal and Hard Rock (we have loved every universal hotel except this one). We heard our neighbors often and heard alarms going off in the morning that were not ours. It was a loud and hot night. By far, one of the best experiences I've had in a hotel in Orlando. Not only are the facilities and the amenities new but top of the line. My group, which consisted of about 25 people attending an event, was highly impressed with the cleanliness, the service, as well as the atmosphere of the hotel. It is also conveniently located incredibly close to the parks - you could even call it walking distance. As a matter of fact, the hotel is so new that Google Maps didn't even have specific directions to it. Terra Luna is one of the newest hotels affiliated with Universal. It's quite far from the Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure parks -- about 15 minutes on the shuttle. But it's extremely close to Epic Universe -- 2 minutes on the shuttle. While this hotel is one of the lower tier hotels, it serves its purpose, especially if you spend most of your time at the parks. The room includes 2 beds, a flat panel TV, a mini refrigerator, and a couch with a small table. We had a room on one of the higher floors with a view of the pool, but we couldn't hear any noise from the pool. The only noise I heard were the slamming of doors in the morning. Although the hotel is new, there were a few things that made me wonder what happened in construction. In the shower, one of the metal accents fell off. It wasn't glued securely to the shower. Although there were plenty of electrical outlets, including USB-A and USB-C, some of these didn't work. The hotel has a game room and a gym. My hotel card was rejected when I tried to use the gym. I didn't bother trying to rectify that. The hotel also has a grab-and-go market (Omega Market), a cafe (Omega Cafe) where you can order hot food, and a pool side bar and grill (Moonrise Bar and Grill). We only had food from Omega Cafe and thought that the food was really good compared a higher tier hotel that we stayed at previously. I liked that there were a number of dishes where you have the option of a side of regular fries or sweet potato fries at no additional cost. Sweet potato fries forever! One of my favorite dishes was the Big French Dipper, but it's only available for lunch. Overall I wouldn't mind staying here again. read more

I recently stayed three nights at Terra Luna and visited Epic Universe and Universal. Overall, it's a good hotel, and I would stay there again. I loved its proximity to Epic Universe; it felt almost within walking distance. They provided shuttles to CityWalk and Epic Universe. The rooms and lobby were spotless, and none of the other guests were loud. Room service is every other day. The entire experience was very smooth. However, I did have a few minor complaints. First, the parking situation was frustrating. One of the machines was down, and my room key didn't work when I tried to use it for parking, even after I got a new one. The café closes at 11 PM, so after a long day at the theme parks, it can be a rush to get back to the buses and hope to make it before the café closes. The Eclipse Bridge wasn't anything special; I felt Stella Nova had the better setup. The bar was also a bit small. I dislike it when hotels don't maximize the potential of their drinking areas. Terra Luna is about a 10-15 minute bus ride to CityWalk, Universal, and Islands of Adventure. It's approximately a three-minute bus ride to Epic, though it does stop once at Stella Nova before heading to Epic. If you're primarily visiting Epic Universe, Terra Luna is a nice option, and I've heard from team members that this hotel tends to attract a more mature audience. read more

My family and I stayed here before a visit to Epic Universe. It is located very close to Epic, but also offers shuttles to Universal Studios/Islands/City Walk which is about 10-15 minutes away. Terra Luna is close to Epic but I would not consider it walking distance, unless you want to add an extra 20 minute walk each way to your already busy day of walking in the theme park. The hotel itself has a really cute space them and is like the Surfside version of the Endless Summer resorts. Stella Nova is probably the Dockside version. If you have not been, Surfside is the smaller quieter hotel and Dockside is huge and extremely busy. I really enjoyed the smaller and quieter/more relaxed vibe that Terra Luna offered. They have a grab n go good area, as well as hot food available for purchase. There is a gift shop, too. And best of all, a jacuzzi! Dockside and Surfside both lack a jacuzzi, which is one of my favorite highlights when staying at a hotel, so I was really happy to see they included one here. Rooms were clean and the space aesthetic was really cute. My only complaint is the bedding. They provide flimsy cover that cannot be called a comforter but is not a sheet. They do this at Dockside and Surfside, too- and it's not pleasing. It does nothing to keep you warm and I end up having to request about 3 extras. I suppose this is a cost saving measure, as these hotels are considered budget friendly- though typically starting at $150 a night for a standard room is not what I consider budget- especially when you tack on their $30 parking fees PER NIGHT. You might get lucky and find lower rates during very slow times, but on average expect to pay $140+ a night, not counting parking fees and taxes. It is disappointing, as when these lines of hotels came out I was excited to see a more budget friendly option for families and at first prices were in the $100-$120 range. But I guess they have realized they can charge more and people will pay.... read more

I had a very pleasant experience at the Terra Luna resort, one of Universal's newer, more affordable hotels right near Epic Universe. This is the "light" version, and across the way is the Stella Nova, the "dark" one. It's celestial/space themed and I think they did a fantastic job with the aesthetic. You walk in and everything is light and swooping shapes and backlit like you're in a galaxy. The rooms are definitely small and have minimum amenities but it does the job. They have a nice sized workout room, though it the lights stopped working while I was working out one day and it was "out of order" after that, which was a new one on me. They do have a dining hall but it seems pretty small for the amount of people that could potentially stay at the resort. I guess maybe they're counting on people going to the parks and eating there, but it seems like a miscount on their part. But they have a pretty big menu and the food is decent. There's a small Universal store of course, as well as an arcade. The pool area is a nice size and nothing too fancy, but enjoyable one that typical hot & muggy Florida day. It's reasonable walking distance to Epic Universe but the shuttles to there and the other Universal parks are a great option. You do have to pay extra for parking (of course) and if you try to park there without staying at the hotel it's insanely expensive, I think so as to discourage parking there unless you're staying. read more

Booked a two night stay in December via Hotels.com. My decision was based on the location and proximity to Epic Universe and the fact that they have shuttles to transport to all the parks. Upon arrival, we were greeted and checked in promptly (it was almost midnight). The person checking us in gave us great tips on how to utilize our time at the park, which ended up being very helpful! We did not take advantage of going into the park early as we were tired from getting in late, but I really like that they have that incentive for guests. Our room felt very new and clean. We had a nice view of the pool area. Didn't get to enjoy the resort itself, but I would definitely book Terra Luna again! read more

Terra Luna was a great choice because if it location close to the park, early access because is part of the Universal network of hotels, buses that take you between parks and downtown area. Very friendly and good drinks recommendations. The one negative was the wait time for the food from the restaurant. We waited 30-45+ minutes for some basic dishes and burgers. They may be understaffed or the demands from the entire hotel is more than they anticipated. After walking all day in the park, having to wait that long for a burger and soda is a bit much. There is also a parking fee. So if you are a local like me, keep in mind driving there will coast you. Overall, a good experience, and I would use them again if visiting the Orlando area. read more

We are staying here now. The hotel looks nice, but the rooms are extremely dirty. Our first room was so unclean we thought it hadn't been serviced. The second room was just as bad--hair in the carpet, food crumbs, dust, and stained walls, couch, and bathtub. Management was rude and dismissive. Although the housekeeping manager confirmed the room was not up to standard, no compensation or resolution was offered. We ended up cleaning the room ourselves with Clorox wipes while the housekeeping manager stood there watching. Completely unacceptable. Worst experience we've ever had at a theme park resort. I was hoping for a much more outer space feel and they captured that a little but it ended up being a little too bland. The pool is basic and for some reason felt super hot and lacking nature. Yes, it's convenient for Epic (which is why we were there) but I could have had more. Front desk staff was nice but a little flighty at times... they ended up give me a room key and never told me what room I was in. The light situation is REAL. Plus, there are multiple food and beverage options on site, which made dining convenient. **The downsides:** Everything is *very* expensive -- from meals to basic snacks, it felt like you're constantly paying a premium. The worst part, though, was the ticket desk in the lobby. We had already paid for our park tickets, but the staff there refused to validate them and were unhelpful and dismissive. It turned into a frustrating and unnecessary hassle that definitely impacted our experience. At one point the desk manager essentially told me that our tickets may not be validated at all and it would depend on "customer service making an exception". This was a scary thing to hear on night one as I had already invested about 4,000.00 on this trip from Maryland; not something you want to hear after a 13 hour drive. Terra Luna is a fun spot for family when staying on Universal property. The resort is new and has a very sleek, modern design with fun "spacey" touches. If you are planning a Universal vacation, make sure to allow time to enjoy the pool! The pool has a zero entry and is perfect for sitting poolside and enjoying a drink while kiddos play safely in the water. While at the pool, order from the Moonrise Grill. We tried the kids chicken tenders plate (4 tenders, fries and a drink for $10) and the hot chicken sandwich meal. The smoothies are also delicious. The rooms are not fancy, but they offer everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. Our room had 2 queen beds and a skinny sofa that was a great spot for the souvenirs we purchased. There is a little fridge for drinks. By the way, if you are going to be using resort amenities, definitely spring for the refillable resort cup. With drinks being around $5 a pop, having the cup that can be refilled every 10 minutes is a big win. As far as food at the resort, there is a cafe/bakery and grill. There is plenty of seating for dining. The pizza we ordered was fresh and tasty, although a little pricey. Terra Luna is part of the bus system with a bus that goes to the Citywalk hub and another route that goes to Epic. We discovered that the buses will hit the other Epic-area resorts before hitting the road, so allow that for time planning. Overall, Terra Luna is a great spot especially for families with kiddos! read more

I wanted to love Terra Luna Resort so much, but sadly it was pure disappointment. Check in process was smooth and easy. Room...way smaller than an average hotel room. Beds are comfy and the shower was great. Here's the bad news that turned me against this new Epic Universe hotel. The WiFi and tv in our room did not work. We called the front desk at 11pm when we arrived to our room, and they sent someone up. Pretty quickly too. Unfortunately, the engineering guy they sent knew nothing about tv's, and said he couldn't do anything until IT came in the next morning. I called back down to the front desk, and they said all they could do was move us...at 11:30pm at night after we were already up there and changed into our pj's. When we declined, they said there was nothing else they could do. I responded by saying we paid a lot of money for this room, and tv and WiFi are basic hotel amenities. They then offered 10% off our room and said it would reflect on the final folio. Next morning we go to check out, and their systems are down. We leave, our bill arrives via email later on, and no 10%off. I called back, had to remind them of the 10%, and then they sent a new bill. I am so disappointed how carefree Terra Luna handled this whole thing that it soured me. I will not stay here again. read more

Guest services are horrible. We called guest services at 10:00 PM. It wasn't until 4:00 AM that we received our blanket after calling multiple times. When we called each time we were told they were on their way, but until I called every 15 minutes starting at 3 AM did they finally bring the blanket we requested for the pullout couch. When we open the couch, it appeared that the bottom sheet was not changed, and when they delivered the blanket, it was a very itchy blanket that was wrinkled. Two of the lights were not working lightbulbs were burnt out. The couch was repaired with staples which injured my grandson. When we were checking in, there was a woman who was screaming at the front desk because there was water dripping from the ceiling lights in her room, and it didn't appear that they were offering her any solution. read more

Had a couple of issues - the hotel and Orlando in general don't like you walking anywhere, you have to walk around the whole dang place to get in, which is frustrating. Went here with my daughter for Halloween Horror Nights and we absolutely loved this place. Ten minute drive to Universal Studios... Epic a lot closer but that's our next trip. This place is super clean, big pool, clean gym, at least two places to eat and the staff was exceptional. Not sure if there is a sit down restaurant but there is a bar! It's a really nice place to stay with friends or family. I am tired of getting ripped off with some of the prices that the resort hotels are priced at. This place is very affordable and you get into parks hour early. If you don't mind a short trip to the parks and you don't want to waste money then this is the place for you. Surprisingly, this is one of the few hotels where I didn't notice paper-thin walls--it was peaceful and quiet throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth, and the staff was welcoming right from the start. I also really appreciated the text features--they let you know as soon as your room is ready and make checkout super easy. It's a great touch that adds to the convenience. The shuttle to Epic Universe was quick and simple, making the location very practical. The hotel itself is beautiful--modern, clean, and well-maintained--and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. I really was excited to visit but was not impressed. The rooms are attractive modern and comfortable. The dining is expensive with very limited options depending upon the time of day. The pool was clean with plenty of chairs but it was extremely shallow, we were kneeling to keep our bodies submerged. It was a strange concept for a hotel pool. Loudest hotel I have ever stayed in. A few doors down from the elevator and we are awoken with "ding" all night long - even worse early morning. If someone is in the room next to you, you can hear EVERY word they say. There is ZERO sound proofing. We are EXHAUSTED!!!! We were supposed to stay one more night and I am currently searching for other hotels. We had to ask twice for maid service on our third day (it is every other, which is fine if they show up). Room was not very clean upon arrival - dust bunnies next to both beds. I did not pack body lotion and needed some badly- front desk said they had none, and the only option in gift shop was a HUGE bottle for almost $20, which I couldn't travel home with. Even cheap hotels have small lotions - what in the world !?!! We frequent Loews properties and picked this for a family vacation because of the affiliation and proximity to the park. NEVER AGAIN! And Loews dropped way down in our list in general. We didn't expect 4-5 star, but this is ridiculous. read more

I think I liked this place even more than Stella Nova, got a great rate with Florida resident discount of about $125 a night. I stayed for six nights at the beginning of Halloween Horror Night season over Labor Day weekend. This is the most recent new hotel to open in the Universal resorts. Just a few months so everyone is new and clean as you would expect. Staff were super friendly. The food from the cafe was a bit mixed but it was fine. The help was absolutely incompetent. I asked for sheets on three separate occasions, and every single time they brought me new "clean" sheets they appeared to be soiled. Either covered in mysterious brown and red stains or multiple different colored and textured hairs. Every unfold was a surprise mystery stain. It appeared as if they would take used sheets off of a bed, fold them back up, and send them to someone else's room. To go along with the disgusting accommodations, their refillable drink stations are an absolute scam. every time my children went to go refill their cups, the machines appeared to be either broken or malfunctioning. Another thing, the odor was absolutely atrocious, around every corner, a new smell. Now, I would understand a certain smell coming from the food area, but that was the least of our worries. Every floor had its own distinct smell, and I would be lying if I said it was anything but unpleasant. The help at the trip planning booth, or, should I say, lack there of, was inconsiderate and insensitive. The worker tried to up-charge me and my family right off the bat! Stayed here over the weekend while in town for HHN. First all the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful in every way possible. We talked to several about HHN since it was my brother's and I first time and they were all helpful and all had conversations with us about what they enjoyed about the event since they just got a preview a few days before. The cafe is nice and has decent options to choose from. A good bit of premade warm stuff from sandwiches to pizza. The store has everything from merch from the parks to those things you forgot at home, like a toothbrush which I didn't remember to pack. The rooms are nice but to me a little bland, I guess I was expecting more of a space feel from the look of the outside. One thing I do have a complaint about is the water pressure is terrible. The lighting in the bathroom is odd too but maybe that's just me. If you're main focus is Epic this is the perfect hotel since it's just a couple minutes shuttle ride away. read more

This company's five-star rating is a complete farce. As a homeowner in this community, I've had to personally deal with the disturbing and unacceptable behavior of the guests they manage at 4449 Shiva Loop, Kissimmee, Fl 34746. Their guests have been partying until 6:00 a.m. every single night, for the past week, blasting music, being overly celebretory, and completely disregarding the community's noise curfew 11pm. Security and even the sheriff's department have had to be called on multiple occasions. These violations have been documented with video evidence and decibel readings proving the excessive noise levels and emailed to the community association manager and HOA board. To make matters worse, their guests smoke marijuana openly throughout the day and night, filling the air with the stench while my three-year-old and one-year-old are outside playing in my backyard. As a homeowner who pays HOA fees and lives here full-time, I should not have to bring my children inside because of the behavior of short-term renters managed by this company. Their personnel have also trespassed on my private property, parking in my driveway despite clearly posted "No Trespassing" signs. My wife had to personally ask one of their workers to move their vehicle while I was away, something no homeowner should ever have to do. Trash is constantly left piled around the bins and on the ground, showing a total lack of care for the community or the people who actually live here. The fact that trash sat outside their home for two days straight, when trash pickup runs seven days a week in this community, proves just how little attention this company pays to its properties. And this isn't an isolated incident. I've had to deal with multiple property management companies doing the same thing across other homes in this community. They only care about one thing -- the bottom line. They make their money at the expense of everyone else, and by the time the homeowners get fed up with the complaints and fines from the HOA, these companies have already profited and moved on. You cannot call yourself a "property management company" if you're not actually managing your properties. A true management company would be proactive -- they'd have noise monitoring devices, external cameras, and clear communication with guests to enforce rules before things get out of hand. Instead, this company does nothing while the rest of us have to live with the consequences. This is not a free-for-all community anymore. Homeowners are fed up with the lack of accountability and professionalism from these so-called property managers. Rules and regulations are being strengthened to counter this neglect, and we will not stand by it. read more

Recently had a long weekend and decided to try the new Terra Luna Resort. First, Elizabeth at the registration desk is a treasure and is absolutely the face of the business every organization needs out front and client facing. That said, the overall was just meh. The design wasn't much and the room honestly was very small. Having stayed at Cabana Beach previously it has much more room and less expensive. The food choices were pretty good overall. Parking is $30 a day which irks me when I stay on property. read more

Brand new hotel, but the sensor lights in the rooms have a glitch in them so they randomly turn on and off throughout the night. The 9th floor also sounds like bottle rockets are going off whenever someone uses the water. The food is basic and pretty bland. I was pretty underwhelmed. But I will say that the staff and friendly and happy. The Lowes hotel website states that guests at Terra Luna can "explore the amenities" of other sister hotels, but beware, this is misleading and does not include the pools at any Lowe's property other than Stella Nova. If I had known that I would've picked a resort with a more engaging pool, especially if you have kids. My nephew still had the time of his life, but next time I'll skip both Terra Luna and Stella Nova and opt for one of the other resorts. read more

4 stars for location near Epic Universe and it being a new hotel, but food and drinks on premise is alittle too much for example $5.00 for a bagel but it's like a brick before you finish half. $10 for a beer you would normally pay $6 at other places. I was here on a long holiday weekend and the kids over run the hotel, literally running thru the hallways, elevators and pool area like a high school cafeteria . read more
