I used Rosengard to move a few rooms of furniture 30 miles. It went well, with the movers arriving almost on time and then not breaking anything. It was a hot, sweaty day and everything happened with no surprises. I'm not sure about their $80 fuel surcharge, though. They drove a truck which wasn't huge maybe 70 miles, so they couldn't have used more than 12 gallons of diesel. If the fuel surcharge is because diesel is $3/gal more than it used to be, why is the surcharge not $35 or 40? That's my only complaint and it's not a big one. I'd be glad to use them again. read more

I hired Rosengard Moving Systems to move a large armoire up to the second floor of my home. It had to be hoisted up the outside of the house, and because it wasn't properly wrapped beforehand, the armoire was damaged. I was very upset, but assured that someone from the office would contact me and make things right. And as promised, within a few weeks, the owner sent a refinisher over who did such an amazing job fixing the damage you'd never know anything happened. Because of how understanding the owner was, and how quickly and professionally everything was handled, despite the incident I would recommend Rosengard to anyone. I would also hire them again in the future. read more

CAUTION!!! A terrible experience. We moved on 9/11/12 and rosengard was awful. I am missing several power tools and a kindle so far! They crushed a Tiffany lamp shade that they packed, hid boxes for the upper floors behind boxes labeled garage to avoid the stairs and left trash and cigarette butts at both houses. We were charged at least $400 more than we were quoted, they also badly scrached our new dryer and we think they broke our Nordic track elliptical but they lost the power cord so we can't check it. Also the office tells u she will have the owner call you and he doesn't . Use anyone else because you couldn't do worse read more

I used Rosengard for a move this week. They were cheaper than other local movers. They showed up on time, moved me very quickly and efficiently. I've used other movers in the past and they weren't as good as these guys were! And entire move was done within 3 hours! Thank you Rosengard for the quick and hassle free move! Estimate provided was 6 hours or less with the possibility of a $40. surcharge for fuel. We were billed for 8 hours + $80.00 surcharge. When I called the owner because I beleived I was being overcharged here's what happened. The team had said there was no place to park and they had to drive around the block several times before being able to park a block away. In reality, the team and truck arrived a little before 8:00 am and parked directly across the street. There were not multiple trips around the block or parking a block away. It just didn't happen that way. The team then walked down to the corner Dunkin Donuts to grab some coffee which caused an additional delay of a 45 minutes to an hour. The team worked slowly compared to other experiences she's had with moving companies in the past. The owner then went on to say that we were not being honest with him and pretty much called our integrity into question. I was very disappointed with how it was handled by the team and by the owner. I had used the company in the past without issue but for some reason the business practices have diminished to a less than adequate level. The owner and the team were unprofessional and did not meet the lowest level of customer service in this particular instance. read more

Worse movers ever... They steal.. We are missing items such as Michael Korrs pocketbook and drills and even a cooler that had been in front of a closet door. When confronted they refuse and try to put things off by saying, "everything was labeled and inventoried ".. However, boxes were re-used from a previous job and labeled incorrectly and when the missing items were asked about we never receive any answers.. Disgusting. read more

We used Rosengard to move items from North Andover and 2 locations in Methuen before moving all the items to our new home in Dracut. They did a GREAT job! They packed up all 3 locations in one day, stored the items overnight, and moved us to Dracut on the following day. Everything went better than I could have imagined, and Peter (the owner) was extremely helpful during the entire process. I highly recommend these movers! read more

These guys were great. The walk through took all of 20 minutes. They emailed the quote the next morning. We were told the movers would arrive around 7:15AM and they were there right on time. The guys were very personable and efficient. They cleared our four bedroom house in less than two hours (including two crib disassembles) including some pretty big pieces and several boxes. If anything was questionable, they brought it to our attention before they moved it. We were quoted at 5.5 hours and they were right on the button. They had all our stuff unloaded and into the new place plus some odds and ends to a separate spot all in the time quoted. Pete and his crew are a class act. Would totally recommend them and will certainly use them again in the future. read more

I had an awful experience with this company, they run the old bate and switch. I was quoted a price for the move, and of course they charged me DOUBLE, an extra $500 each move. They added on extra charges left and right, which were never discussed. On top of that I had some items stolen, which caused another headache as I had to get the police involved. Complete nightmare from start to finish. read more

Rosengard Moving Systems helped me to move from my house to a condo. We ran into difficulties after my house was loaded onto the truck when we found out that our closing date was in jeopardy. I have to say that Peter (owner) and Rosemary (office) were understanding, helpful and willing to unload the truck at my new place on any day - Thursday, Friday or Saturday - depending on the new closing date / time. They answered my many calls and were polite and professional. The move finally happened (it went well) after noon on Friday with little advance notice to Rosengard. Thanks for your help and flexibility. An extremely stressful situation was made less so by your willingness to work with my schedule. read more

Well, I had damage to several pieces during my large move. The movers were good guys and worked really hard but I'd probably not use them again. I didn't go after them on the damage to pieces hoisted out the window, felt it wasn't their responsibility....but the other damage was met with a "yeah I'll patch it up" attitude and I was left feeling interrogated on if the damage was already there. If they are so worried about existing damage they need to do a better job checking the furniture PRIOR so the customer isn't left feeling badly they had to report damage. Also, the guys moving seemed stunned at the amount of furniture even though we had the sales guy out TWICE to look at it. read more
