Great space for a large gathering. There were several newbie comedians performing. Good space . Interesting non-alcoholic drinks. Parking a lil challenge.

Needed beer after a long work day. Scale: 1-5 Beer: 5 - Best Kept Secret DDH Hazy IPA was my favorite. Double Oaked BA Imperial Stout was also awesome. Good variety of beers to try. Atmosphere: 5 - Clean bright and open area. Service: 5 - Quick! Had a couple tasters, a flight and a pint. Food: N/A- just a few snacks Cultural/Political Agenda (1-5): 5 -Everyone is welcome. No preachy nonsense--just beer, as it should be.

I love this little brewery! It's a great place to hang out, play board games, enjoy live music, etc. It's dog friendly and has a parking lot. The bartenders are super nice and helpful! I'm not a beer drinker so I got a berry flavored hard kombucha on my most recent visit. I do wish they had a cider option though. There's often a food truck outside too.

Really cool brewery, especially for the millennial population growing up with blink 182! This is such a cool brewery. Went for an emo acoustic night and it was so laid back and fun. The parking situation isn't great but we were lucky enough to find a spot! The people working here were nice and I thought it was cool they have food trucks here! Was bbq tonight so as a vegetarian I did sit that one out haha. I got a sour that I think had parfait in the title and then a canned prickly pear sour, not sure if that one was their own brew l. My husband got respectfully loud and Jesus of euphoria, which were both hazy IPAs. We both really enjoyed our drinks! The sour on tap was really subtle, good for someone like me who isn't really a beer drinker! My husband enjoyed his as well. And the glasses they serve in are cute. Patio was nice and good indoor seating as well. Even when it got busy we never had to wait long for anything which was great. Awesome brewery worth checking out in Phoenix!

Really enjoyed the Hazy IPA, Summer at the Warped Tour!

As I have said before in my brewery adventures that there is a brewery with just about every theme under the sun. This brewery is themed towards Blink-182. I didn't pick up on that right away since I'm not super familiar with the brewery but glad I found that out before it was too late. Steve and I had an absolutely wonderful IPA here called Summer at the Warped Tour. What made us so impressed with this IPA was that it kind of had more of a delicate flavor to it unlike most IPA'S we have had. And maybe that accounts for the mouthfeel we got that is one of the characteristics with this beer. In appearance it's hazy and cloudy. For flavors you can pick up fruitiness, peach all with a tropical essence going on in general. Excellent, excellent IPA and that earns this brewery a five star score from us!

My first stop at this brewery after researching and the visit was worth it. The spot is dog friendly which is a plus for me. They have a nice patio out front when weather allows and the indoor space offers multiple types of seating. The selection of beers was enough to make it an experience, which is something I always look for. I tried a few IPA's and they were crisp and refreshing. They have a to go beer fridge which was busy when I was there. The bartenders were accommodating and helpful.

If you're looking for great craft beers in the Phoenix area, Roses By The Stairs Brewing is where it's at! I've been to a fair amount of different breweries in this area during my last few trips to Phoenix, and I have to say, this would be my top pick for those who really like hazy beers, and also bourbon barrel-aged stouts (they have a good variety of beers outside of just hazys and stouts). They are a newer brewery (2 years old), and their space is clean and modern. This is also the perfect place to go if you're a Blink-182 fan, since this brewery is named from the lyrics in the "All the Same Things" song. They were busy but not packed around 5pm on a Sunday, and they had 15 beers on tap as well as a few non alcoholic drink options. I decided to go with a flight of beers (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=W6EOJ3fy0ALKItY813Qyyg&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg), and everything I tried was really good. I loved that they had board games and a deck of cards available. They don't serve food (they had a few snack options), but they usually have a food truck parked out front). You can also order from next door (Little O's), and a couple of other restaurants that will deliver. Both indoor and outdoor seating was available. Parking was easy to find at the time since they have their own small lot.

It is so fun for me to see this place so busy. We have been coming since it opened. The beer is good, the ambiance is quaint and they have all kinds of events during the week. We went because they had pizza and some local vendors selling their wares. The patio is nice as well. An overall great place.

Interestingly, my last review got removed, I guess for being too honestly descripitive about the workers and clientele I experienced and described, but the owner's snarky response to my deleted post remains... Updated review (my first one from early months, the only remaining, was stellar): It was trivia night, packed, and they had one person working. Needless to say there was an ongoing wait and an unpleasantly chaotic vibe. Still lots of dogs and babies (feet- and diaper-first) on the chairs and tables (see picture), which were not being cleaned between patrons due to poor staffing, with lots of beer and food (from the food truck) being served--Gross!! We sat at the bar, which was dirty the whole time and never wiped down. I like to research beers before going to a place so I know what I want to order. However, the beers listed on their website do not match what's actually available. Neither beer I wanted was available, which was annoying. The atmosphere has declined since their early months. The lighting is harsh, and the rear area, which previously had an inviting and cozy vibe, is sterile and barren. They also rarely have live music anymore. They brew a lot of very good beers; however, the experience of going there was unfortunately again unsettling and lacking.

This was our first time at Roses by the stairs, we went for AZ Brewery Hop. The Blink 182 themed brewery is a chill spot with clever beer names playing off the band. The staff is friendly and loves any additional reference that can be made. The beer is good, we tried a good portion of what they offer and I think there is something for everyone!

Stopped by about a week ago and my boyfriend liked the 7th and McDowell IPA so much he wanted to visit again. He had a few. I chose a Fruit Salad Sour and had a few. Last time a friendly gentleman was our bartender. This time a kind woman was our bartender. We befriended a few of the regulars during our last visit. This visit was a bit quieter. We decided to enjoy a pizza from a nearby pizza shop. We were going to order from Little O's, but our bartender suggested Forno301 for an authentic pie. Excellent suggestion, thank you! We'll see you guys soon!

Chill vibe and cool, open warehouse-type environment. You've gotta like IPA's because there aren't a lot of choices. Also no food, but there are places nearby where you can order food and eat it there. Friendly staff, tight parking, but def worth a visit.

Great place and part of the beer babes family. Had a hazy ipa and a west coast ipa. Both delicious. If you're in Phoenix this is a great spot to visit. There are also many other breweries in the area. Cheers to great service and a wonderful time.

Ask the Community - Roses By The Stairs Brewing

I know I know...do they have wine? Have out of town guests and want bring husband here. Wife doesn't drink beer. Thank you.

I don't remember seeing wine on the menu, but this is not a place I'd take out of town guests. It's a specialty beer place, a non-beer drinker will not appreciate it. I'd recommended La Grande L'Orange in Arcadia or go to Postino right next door and…

Do they ever have live music?

Yes, usually once or twice a week, and also stand-up comedy. Check out their Instagram page.

I recently visited Greenwood Brewing and had a great experience learning more about the brewery and…read moreits history. One of the highlights was chatting with Dan, who has been bartending for eight years. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions about the brewing process and the brewery itself. It's clear he enjoys what he does and takes pride in sharing information with customers. I also learned that the brewery was founded by Megan Greenwood, and it's impressive to see how her vision has grown into a well-known local brewery. The brewing operation includes seven tanks, giving visitors a glimpse into the production side of the business. For anyone interested in seeing more behind the scenes, Greenwood Brewing does offer brewery tours. There isn't a set tour schedule, so it's best to ask staff about availability when you visit. One feature I thought was especially cool was the live Instagram follower counter displayed behind the bar. Watching the number update in real time was a fun and unique touch that added to the brewery's modern, community-focused atmosphere. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was engaging, and it was fun getting a closer look at the brewing process while enjoying quality craft beer. A great stop for both locals and visitors looking to support a Phoenix- Women owned brewery. The vibes are chill & semi-loud with music playing in the background. They have seating on both sides of the brewery, outside seating & local restaurants QR codes to order food from. IG: greenwood Brewing

We passed AZ Wilderness and saw how busy they were so we stopped at Greenwood as they were less busy and we had never tried their beer before. My parents prefer IPA's and are tough critics, however, they liked the IPA's so much they bought a pack to take home. I'm not a huge beer drinker so I ordered the seltzer on tap and it was good + refreshing. My husband also ordered the Mango Lassi and loved it. We spoke to the staff member on site who I believe said they've been around for 6 years or so. Greenwood definitely deserves more hype as not only were their beers good but they have cute seating arrangements with an open courtyard. Definitely give Greenwood a try if you find yourself going to Downtown Phoenix!

I tried about six but the staycation was pretty decent. Spinach artichoke is actually pretty good. Very crispy probably one of the best thin pizzas I've had our service was pretty decent too This place was pretty spacious and I liked their seating options. Pretty unique we were at a low bench long table type which was nice for mingling and sharing bites i'm surprised with how much I actually ended up liking the food with breweries. It's always like a hit or miss but this place was a pretty good spot. I just wish they had beers that I liked more.
