This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had with Walmart. I placed my order at 11:00 a.m. and was promised delivery by 3:00 p.m. Instead, my order didn't arrive until around 7:00 p.m. To make matters even worse, I ordered 35 items and only received 5 of them. The majority of my groceries were missing, leaving me without food in my home. This completely defeats the purpose of paying for Walmart+ and relying on your delivery service. I'm also extremely disappointed that I'm still waiting for a call from Customer Service regarding this issue. Not only has no one resolved my concerns, but I'm apparently expected to pay another Express Delivery fee just to receive the items that should have been delivered correctly the first time. This review is specifically for the auto center. This place continues to give me issue after issue. From the staff hitting on you to there never being associates in the auto center, I would not advise any one to come here. My three most recent issues have been the staff not knowing how to key in warranty claims, the auto center mechanics leaving trash under my hood, and most frustrating, leaving the auto center with parts not being put back on my car correctly. This led to fluid continuously leaking in my parking space at home following an oil change. I had to return the car and have the service completed again. Made an appointment for an oil change and still ended up having a frustrating experience. When I arrived, I was told they didn't have the oil filter for my car, so I had to leave Walmart and go to AutoZone to buy one myself. After returning, I stood at the counter waiting for assistance while multiple employees walked by without acknowledging me. The employee helping me seemed more interested in talking with coworkers than focusing on the customer. Communication throughout the process was poor. I booked a Mobil 1 Full Synthetic oil change, but later noticed on my paperwork that Quaker State Full Synthetic was used instead. I'm not upset about the oil itself, but no one explained the substitution or asked if it was okay beforehand. The service was completed and my car is fine, but between having to source my own filter, the lack of attention from staff, and the poor communication, the experience did not justify making an appointment. Don't do it. I went into this Walmart with specific intentions, thinking I would be in and out. Within five minutes of walking in, I heard a gentleman yelling about another man running into an elderly person and he would subsequently "knock you out." The health care section is under lock and key now, as I assume there have been theft. Keep that in mind if you need items and you have some where to be. There simply is not enough staff members to handle the demand. The grocery section is fair to middling; and, I was able to find what I need. I will say the children's department is pretty good. The check out process was long. The person in front of me used cash, and sadly the cashier was unable to count the change that was given to her in nickels and had to have the customer count it for her. The cash register was not properly working so I could not verify a price of an item, and unfortunately I overpaid. The only way that I will be returning to this Walmart is if I place a pick up order, I can't imagine I will ever step foot in this location again. read more

Decided to use the Walmart App to order some items for pickup instead of going inside. So glad I did! The app is easy to use and with planning ahead; it frees up time. My order was ready as promised and a kind staff member cheerfully loaded the items in my trunk. I've been calling Walmart trying to reach their electronic department since 10:40 a.m. on Thursday January 29th. I first called the electronic department and let it ring for 2 minutes, then I call 0 for customer service that that ring for a minute and a half and then I called eye Care and someone picked up she offered to transfer me but I asked her to speak to someone first before she transfer me so I know that I'm talking to a human and not just listening to a phone ring. So this is the closest Walmart to my home so I visit fairly frequent. I will say the advantages of this location include surrounding businesses as well as in-stock items. I never seem to have an issue finding what I need. However, I always seem to struggle with finding an employee with a key to the soap lock box or spray paint. Actuallly anytime I need an employee I can always find them but they always tell me "that's not their department" or "they can't help me with this or that" never pointing me in the right direction. The last time I was there I talked to 4 employees before being able to get someone to even look for the soap key. Then when the lady came to unlock the soap she groaned about everyone losing their key and she was going on vacation next week and taking hers with her. Customer service at this location is horrible and morale seems to be low among employees. On that last visit as I walked in the door I saw an employee look at some trash on the floor and kick it under a fixture. When I finally got the the register and asked an employee about the robot, she told me she believed it spied on the employees to see who was stealing or not working. I went in this store last night picking up a "Batch" from Instacart. "Sherry" the cashier at Register 5 had closed out the previous person that had her son waiting in line for her (holding up the line) to run back to her car for her debt card. Sherry had begun ringing up our items when the previous person returned. The lady returned and waited at the back of the line patiently because she was aware that she lost her spot in line and everyone else needed to be served too. Sherry spotted the lady, called her up to the front of the line, closed out our items to retrieve hers from the system, and allowed her to pay and leave while everyone else had already waited in line for 10 minutes. I brought this up to the cashier Sherry because I'm not one to hold my tongue when I'm vexed by something. Sherry denied that she ever scanned any of our items when all of the items she had scanned were sitting on the opposite side where you pickup your bags / items. Upon leaving, I stopped by Customer Service to ask to see a manager. It took the manager 15 minutes to get to the customer service counter. It was taking her so long that I had actually started to explain the details on the back of a receipt paper when she finally showed up. I explained the situation and as Walmart employees always do, they say, "Thank you for letting us know. We'll have a talk with that employee." And they won't. You have to decide for yourself if you'd like to shop there. I shopped there personally many years ago, however, now that there are Walmarts located in DC, I don't take that ride out there anymore. The service has gone downhill since the times I used to shop there. Let me reiterate the fact that I absolutely lose that Walmart has 18 check out registers however only two or three are open at any given time. There is always the option of "self checkout" which I honestly feel that if I'm going to be doing your job for you then I need a 1099 form at the end of the year. If your getting an oil change here avoid it as much as possible. I made an appointment the day before came in 10mins before my appointment. Turned my keys in. 30mins later I get an email saying my appointment was canceled. I go to the service desk they say they don't have my oil filter, so they pull one from the shelf walmart store side, so they proceed with the oil change. They come back saying now they don't have my oil in the auto department and that they have to charge me for the oil in the store department so now im paying for the oil plus the filter which they the auto department should have. It's now 130pm. My appointment was at 12:00pm. They were going to let me sit here and not say a word unless I inquired about why my appointment was canceled. Long story short avoid this auto department with walmart terrible terrible with customer service. The technician didn't have a care in the world about my service and informing about why they almost could not fulfill my oil change. read more

Not enough buggies for the elderly. The seniors were outside hoping for a buggy. I went inside and saw a kid riding in the buggy with no groceries...in the front of the store. He road by several Walmart employees, who said nothing. 2. The food areas are not ADA compliant. There's not enough space to move around. people are on top of each other. Walmart money card is not a good value unless you deposit 500.00 to avoid a 5.95 monthly fee. I have no ideal why Walmart would choose a bank that charges its customers a what the call a Maintenance fee to use the card. What the hell are the Maintenancing I will be using my available balance on this card then close my Walmart Money card. I just feel like we are being ripped off, Walmart should use a bank that does not charge these fees I will see what the consumer protection agencies thoughts on this practice is would be nice to know. read more

The customer service in regards to the items locked behind glass is just horrible. I visited the Clinton Walmart location because I needed a tool for a car project I was working on. The line of Hyper Tough tools is prefect for my light projects. Now the horrible part is how in the heck am I suppose to purchase them when they are behind the glass any nobody can help you. They put these little call devices on the glass but when you use them, all the employees do is clear the call and never show up. I activated the call device three times for them to just clear it never show up, so I wasted 30+ mins just waiting for someone to open the glass. In the end I left empty handed :( ... A few days later I stopped at that same Walmart for cooking supplies, and there was a gentlemen waiting to buy a electric shaver... I shop for my groceries a lot via Instacart. Walmart offers good money towards my grocery bill several times this year recently. The problem are that they post on-line their fresh fruit and vegetables via the Instacart website is fake. I had to cancel my order twice with Walmart for the Southern area's of Maryland Walmart Stores. The first time I went to place an order with Walmart, they did not offer any Fresh Fruit or Vegetables, so, I had to cancel my order, the second time it happened, they had posted on the Instacart Website, fresh fruit and vegetables, so, I place my order and got a call from the Instacart Shopper who stated there were no Fresh Fruit or Vegetables at the Clinton, Maryland store, so, I had to cancel my grocery order again. I feel strongly that Walmart needs to state on Instacart Website which stores in Maryland offers Fresh Fruit and Vegetables so they do not waste a shoppers time. I know Walmart offers these selections in other parts of Maryland, but, for some reason, they do not offer these selections in the Southern parts of Maryland. This is very disheartening about this issue. I have already informed Instacart on why I had to cancel my grocery shopping twice with them. This is a waste of my time to go through the process of ordering my groceries to turn around to cancel my order and than go shop at anther grocery store to get what I need and want. read more

Why on earth do they not have a produce section...the whole store isn't organized like any Walmart I've ever seen and I couldn't get half the things I needed. Being from out of state this is extremely discouraging when I drove 15 miles on a Sunday morning to get brunch supplies. When I asked what appeared to be a manager I was told I could drive to Alexandria so I can get a grapefruit and green onions. They had one kind of butter and one kind of coffee creamer. Typical Walmart shenanigans. Lol. A lot of interesting characters. Long lines. I have to say though that it is organized. Some of the departments have items in weird places, but they are organized. I came during a time when the stock team was replenishing a lot of the store. The shelves were a little bare in some areas. For the most part I found everything that I needed. I made it through another Walmart trip!
