After a long day traveling and checking into the hotel we sat at the bar and Ben was an amazing bartender and server. We were told it was an hour wait for a table but what a surprise to have such a great bartender instead of waiting for a table. The crab cakes were amazing and so was the pizza. It was an intimate yet vibrant atmosphere. We had a great night and plan to come back before we leave.

Having dined at other restaurants by WP, my expectations were realistic. The food was mediocre, lacking in seasoning or imagination. My wine was good. The service, however, was incredibly disappointing. My server showed no sign of concern for my experience, unlike his checking in on the couple to my right and the couple to my left. The only time he showed any interest in my dining experience was when he put the check down next to my dessert (which came with no utensils to use)My check was $74 before tip, not an insignificant amount when most people were ordering pizza for a lot less. I won't return and won't be recommending this to my friends or peers.

Work dinner. The space was very empty on a Wednesday night at 6pm. Our server was excellent. My food was good. The asparagus wasn't over cooked which was impressive. The chicken wasn't dry and the sauce was decent. It was very 4 star to me. Overall, I probably won't return as I wasnt that impressed and I don't repeat often. If you're looking for a super high end dining experience in GR, I'd go somewhere else. This was affordable-high-end, which means the food was decent, service was good, and vibes were ok.

This restaurant was in our hotel and we definitely wanted to try it out. We popped in for drinks and appetizers. We ordered the calamari, pizza, cauliflower and the r king lap lettuce wraps. Everything was very good and the ambiance was stellar. Great spot for drinks and apps or a really nice dinner.

This was overall a pretty decent meal for a restaurant in a hotel. I made a reservation in advance which is easy to do on their website. I was seated in a booth right away, and the server was generally friendly and attentive. The ambiance is open and modern. I had the chicken lettuce wraps to start which were very good if a bit lukewarm. I do like that the chicken is prefilled in the lettuce cups. I also had a ceasar salad which was decent although nothing too amazing. The croutons were fresh and crunchy. For an entree I had the schnitzel which is a classic and an homage to Wolfgang's Austrian home. It was a generous portion and quite tender with a lovely crunchy coating. The potato salad was ok, but some of the potato slices seemed a bit undercooked. For dessert I had the chocolate soufflé which was truly delicious. It takes about 20 minutes to prepare, but it's worth it. Well prepared with no eggy taste and just the right amount of chocolate. Overall this was a solid meal and worth a visit if you're staying nearby!

Absolutely amazing! The food is incredible here. Each dish we ordered was put together with such great detail. We had our 1 year old daughter with us and our waitress Carmen was the absolute best towards her, and towards us too! 10/10 for sure. Amazing service, amazing vibes, and amazing food.

We came in late evening for appetizers and drinks. The place was deserted. Our server took our order quickly and brought our drinks, but the appetizers took some time to arrive and then, when we wanted to order a second round later, finding someone to take our order became impossible.

I ordered a takeout order - their Spring Market Salad, for $20, the most expensive of their three salads. It came to about $21.50 after tax. THIS (pictured) is what I got!!! Horrible. It was truly about 80 cents worth of food and there was nothing good about it. The white stuff? A slurry of goat cheese and water. The pink? A slurry of tuna fish and water. Absolutely disgusting. Save yourself the time and money!

I came here with a group of 5 for Thanksgiving dinner this year. I had never tried this place before due to the subpar reviews. I'm familiar with who Wolfgang Puck is, but obviously this location is not a flagship or major restaurant of his. However, I was very pleased with our meal! First, the interior of the restaurant is clean, modern, "steakhouse-vibe," and it is overlooking the Grand River a bit from the Amway Plaza. We were at a high top table closer to the bar area. The service was fairly efficient. We ordered brussels sprouts and crab cakes for appetizers, and it was nice that they offered to do 5 crab cakes instead of the standard 3 since we had a group of 5 (not sure what the upcharge was). Two of us ordered the Thanksgiving dinner option, and 3 of us ordered the NY strip steak off the regular menu. The steaks were cooked great; mine was medium rare. I was pleasantly full after eating about half of my plate. A few of us shared the chocolate soufflé for dessert - really good! The salted caramel ice cream that came with it was just OK. I'm not sure I would go out of my way to come back here, but I enjoyed my meal here and thought it was fairly priced with a nice ambiance!

My wife and I had an amazing meal here tonight. Pizza was perfect and the two noodle dishes were excellent as well. It was obvious that all ingredients were fresh. Courteous and friendly service was provided by Logan. We would certainly return another time.

Of course we had to come here. I picked this as our last dinner our on vacation and it was perfection. What a gorgeous place, on Sundays the valet parking was free. There was a cute shop once you walk in so we could grab some goodies to bring home plus met some other tourists to talk to :P It was the perfect last meal on vacation and service was amazing. My son also sat coloring which was like a wow omg moment for us all lol. I also loved my mocktail so much.

Empty table by the window when we arrived.

I was surprised at how long it took for the 2 hosts to greet us - as we were standing directly in front of them. They were talking to one another, and it was probably work related, but to just stand there staring at them for a couple minutes while they ignored us was awkward. When they finally talked to us they weren't very friendly. Anyway, we made our way to the bar and it was full except for 3 seats. I think the bartender waiting on us was new. He seemed like he was pretty overwhelmed/in the weeds. He greeted us quickly and brought us waters when he did, which I appreciated. I ordered a Blackeberry Bourbon Sour and my Mr had Paloma Nuestra. We both enjoyed our drinks they were refreshing and well crafted. For dinner I had a really hard time deciding! I wanted to try so many things! Our bartender said his favorite thing in the menu is the chicken and rice bowl. That was something I was considering and decided to go with that. Excellent recommendation! The chicken was flavorful and so tender. The hot peppers were a nice touch. There was a lot of food too! I couldn't finish it all. Mr had the hanger steak that was served with mushroom and asparagus risotto. He said the risotto was the best he's ever had, and I agree. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and so was the steak. The space is really nice, felt intimate without being overcrowded. We are looking forward to coming back!

What a disappointment, but not nearly as much as our experience at 123 Tavern. We came in at 4:15PM before the Brandi Carlile show needing a table for a party of 8-10. The place was fully booked (but only half full at that time) except the bar (first-come, first-served). Fair enough -- but from the moment we walked up, the manager at the host stand couldn't have cared less. She quoted a two-hour wait, shut down my question about sitting outside with a flat no, and pointed us toward the bar. No sense of customer service at all. Like zero. The three of us who were there took the last open seats at the bar. Then came the real show: one bartender for the entire restaurant AND bar. He ignored us for ten minutes. My wife and friend got their beers quickly -- but my bourbon sat finished at the service station for another seven minutes while I watched the large ice cube melting as it marinated there. When I finally asked where my drink was, I got "I'm working on it." When he did finally bring it, he pushed it across the bar at me -- no apology, no eye contact, his attention on anything but me. I'll be honest about what I can't prove: I've worked in this industry a long time, and the whole thing read like my service got intentionally slow-walked. My drink held back while everyone around me was taken care of. Maybe the front manager said something after our rocky start at the host stand. Maybe they're just all bad at their jobs. I can't tell you which. I can only tell you how obvious it felt from the barstool. Everything after was the same; menus, ordering, closing out, all a slog. I had to hunt down that same manager for our check so we could get to the show, and she was all attitude, zero help. We only escaped because my wife flagged a server who found a another manager. His response to hearing all this? "I'm sorry." Nothing else. No attempt to make it right. For the first time in my life, I left $0 on a $100 tab. I'm a 25%+ tipper. That's how badly this went. Here's the thing, 123 Tavern: if you're going to bill yourself as a place to gather before events, staff the place and train your managers to act like they want customers there. Until then, I'll spend my money somewhere that values it.

You pay for your table by the hour. You can pick from a wide range of games from their game library. You can also bring your own games or purchase one at the establishment. The board game selection was extensive, with old favorites and hidden gems. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll be sure to stop in again!
