This particular visit I was on a mission to find Christmas PJ's for my family (all girls). It was late in the game so the pickings at other stores were slim to none. I had my mind set to visit a few stores on this Christmas Eve to check, but then a light switch went off... "Maria check out Maxway" - here I am! Maxway had what I needed and more! I found great deals on PJ's socks and gift bags. They had Christmas sweaters as well all were percentages off... Christmas Eve! I am sure their pickings were plentiful when the season approached and for that reason alone this will be my first stop next year the day after Thanksgiving! The lines were were pretty long, but the cashiers moved the lines quite swiftly. If you don't mind shopping in clutter or searching high and low for deals, then this is the place for you! If you haven't checked them out, I suggest you do. Clothing and essentials are available for all family members. There is plenty of parking too. The store is located in a strip mall type setting... eateries are nearby and other mom and pop shops. Have fun and enjoy life :)

Aisles are wide enough to permit good traffic flow but can that flow can be slowed a bit due to the number of merchandise displays and boxes on the floor near the front of the store. This store offers self-checkout kiosks in addition to traditional checkout stations attended by staff. On my last visit, the store was pretty crowded with the holiday shopping crowd. Customers were queued at the checkout stations but the line moved pretty swiftly. I used self-checkout, everything operated as it should so the transaction went very smoothly. Staffing levels are generally adequate for the store. Employees are knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. There are plenty of shopping carts and baskets available for use. The huge parking lot shared with the rest of the shopping center businesses assures you will always be able to easily find a spot to park your vehicle.

When asked why we can longer check ourselves out after waiting in a long line, the employee advised that there were people stealing-- okay, maybe corporate should just put measures in place to prevent customers from stealing instead of impacting all customers with an extremely long wait--or even take out the self check out stations and create lanes for employees to check out customers. This is such a terrible experience. I thought maybe it was just something they put in place in the mornings, but went in the evening and there was an even longer wait. Terrible business decision. Not customer friendly at all... not to mention now you have a bunch of customers irritated with one employee that's checking everyone out and it isn't even the employee's fault.
