This place actually has a check in for free slice of pizza on their Yelp page. We've tried most of the bakeries in this area including the other Rosetta. We confirmed with the employee working that we could check in and use the free offer, which he said included the margherita and vegetarian pizza. We chose a couple things including a slice of pizza which he pointed to was included. When we got to the register, the cashier told us they no longer honored the offer and proceeded to scold the employee with us in the store. TBH the service was atrocious and if you still have an offer on your site, decent customer service would mean that you honor it if it's your mistake it's up. Also, sorry to say but a slice of pizza is nearly free to make. Honoring an offer for a free slice of pizza that you still have advertised when a customer is purchasing a box of pastries. Even if the food isn't great but the service is good, that's fine with me too. But this place is a no go. Would't recommend this place to anyone based on principle. There's another Rosetta two blocks away which had much more variety and better service. read more

This is a fine enough spot for coffee and Italian bites a block from the beach. I won't even talk about the prices because it's in South Beach, so it is what it is. But everything I've had from here has been yummy. Depending on the time of day, there's usually a line but it moves pretty swiftly. Seating available downstairs, upstairs, and outdoor. Not to mention it's directly across the street for my hotel, which makes it even deadlier. Favorites so far have been the custard cream bombolone (think fluffy sugar dont filled with creamy custard that isn't too sweet) and the King Rosetta sandwich. If you are grabbing a pastry for dessert as well, I suggest sharing the sandwich. It's packed with prosciutto, swiss cheese, arugula, and cherry tomatoes. So good! Staff has always been pleasant when I stopped by. They offer seating both indoors and outdoors. This particular location is central to the SoBe area right and is easy to hit up for some coffee and bakery goods (both savory and sweet). The smell of this bakery just wafts amidst the air once you enter and everything presented looks absolutely mouth-watering. They are an Italian-based bakery so I decided to get their Olive Bread and it was exactly what i wanted. High-quality olives and sunburst tomatoes with pockets of salty goodness buried in chewy bread. I prefer the custard bombolone - the bread is soft and the custard cream is rich in flavor. It can be a little pricy for a piece of bakery, a bombolone is $6.50. The pistachio croissant is awesome too! They do have different options for milk alternatives - oat milk (oatly), almond milk. Rosetta is also popular for its sandwiches - Vegetarian Round Focaccia, authentic Rosetta, signature King Rosetta, etc. They can toast it for you after ordering. There is always a long line for ordering, especially during spring break now. They do have online order service, so you can try that. The seating at the second floor is still closed because of covid. WARNING! : This bakery is does not know how to setup a line/queue. I already ordered once and enjoyed my baked goods. I go to order another item, however I was behind a group of people that stood in line but didn't know what they wanted so they looked at all the baked items like it was an aquarium. I asked the cashier, who was not doing anything other than standing around told me I had to stay in the back of the line. I waited another 5 minutes and asked if I could order another item and he gave me the same response. The group of people finally decided, and then took another few minutes adding item by item. Once it was my turn, I told the cashier what I wanted and finally rang me up. I told him his system of ordering is flawed but he told me I had to wait because the group in front was first in line. Love this place! Was in south beach for about a week and came here half the days I went here. The quality of the coffee (I'm no expert) and the pastries way exceeds Shepherd's next door, which always has a long line. I love the experience of sitting here. They front is shady and protected from the street with widely spaced tables (COVID friendly and intimate) and the upstairs is quiet and perfect if you're uncool like me and need to work while on South beach (they have wifi!) Everything I tried in the case is delicious - you really can't go wrong. They'll also toast the savory items which makes them SO great. Some highlights for me : - filled focaccia - salty warm bread with goodies. What could be better? - tiramisu - really pillowy, creamy, and not too sweet - toasted croissant sandwich. The fresh baked breads were amazing. The deli sandwiches were very good. The shaved turkey was flavorful and the mozzarella tastes very fresh and creamy. The focaccia pizza could have been better. We asked for the sandwich toasted and the pizza toasted as well since it was cold. Everything was still cold when we received it. There were no condiments for the sandwiches. No mayo, mustard or oil and vinegar. I'm not personally a fan of dry sandwiches. The service was a little on the slower side. Multitasking didn't seem to be a strong suit. The staff didn't seem to understand English or speak very good English. That can be very frustrating when trying to order. They misunderstood me and added a second sandwich that I said I didn't want. I ended up paying for it anyway because it was too frustrating trying to explain that I didn't want it since they were not understanding. An extra $11 mistake on their part but it was still tasty. The pistachio croissant was not to my liking. I prefer a pistachio cream and this had the consistency or peanut butter and tastes slightly citric. The bakery was visually pleasing and clean.
