We walked by as the doors were opening and the smell of butter and baked goods hit us on the street. The cases of fresh baked goods ate pristine. The staff was very friendly explaining choices and coffee drinks. They take Apple Pay which made it easy. Coffee was hot as focaccia dusted with bacon egg and cheese and my husband's chocolate covered chocolate chip poundcake were good. We enjoyed sitting on Ocean Street watching cars pass by. The sound system is very confusing and frustrating we had music from all different venues hitting us at 7:30 in the morning. Loved this bakery in South Beach! The line does take a while to get through, but it was worth it! Plus, the lines are kinda long everywhere around the beach, so it's unavoidable. They have a large assortment of goodies, savory and sweet, and I wish I could've tried everything! Pizzas, focaccia sandwiches, tiramisu, pastries, and so much more. I really liked my focaccia sandwich with mortadella (like Italian ham) and cream cheese. They warm everything up in the panini press so it's nice, warm, and crisp after you order it. I stopped here two times out of convenience. Aesthetically, the bakery is charming and cute. They have lovely indoor and outdoor dining. I tried their spicy salami pizza and it was ok. I tried their raspberry croissant and it was not good. If you like sfogliattelle, they have them here filled with ricotta. I found these to be tasty. The customer service is meh. They can turn it up a notch. Their coffee is decent. I have not tried anything fancy, simply their drip coffee. If you are in a rush, this might not be the best spot to be in and out. Whether there is a long line or 2-3 folks in front of you, a simple cup of coffee to go may take a while. In my case, the drip coffee was out and I had to wait for them to brew some more coffee. I appreciated the fresh brewed coffee, but I am not impressed by their food selection. read more

I live in Miami Beach, and love coffee, but never stop in here. Thought I'd give it a chance today and it was terrible. I just wanted a chai latte. I am standing in front of the pastries waiting for someone to take my order and 3 full minutes pass. Mind you they're not understaffed, as there are plenty of employees, some busy and some not doing anything but standing in front of the pizza. I finally asked one guy if I was in the right place to order coffee and he said "you need to order it if you haven't" and motioned to the cash register. Okay well people are placing orders for other things NOT at register, so how would I know that's where I needed to go? It was also like no one even so much as nodded at me, let alone asked me what I was looking to order. Bleh. If the chai latte was good, it would have been worth it, but it's honestly tastes like a mix that they poured into creamer. It tastes processed, over sweetened, and just kinda gross. People seem to like it because there was a line out the door, I think mostly tourists, but I personally will not come back and threw out the drink after drinking less than half. read more

Food was so so. The place looks modern and recently renovated. The clerk was clueless I witnessed him mess up 3 orders. Some French lady ahead of me was pointing to a sandwich because she had a question. He proceeded to grab it and start preparing it. The lady tried to get his attention to tell him that's not what she wants. He told her "You selected this one it's for you" poor lady just said ok. I ordered a box of 6 variety croissants I showed him the picture from their website so he doesn't mess up. He had to think about it for a minute because it's not on their in store menu. Also ordered a cafe late and a matcha late. For the price the food was ok the croissants didn't have that fresh crisp soft taste they normally gave when just baked. Such an amazing bakery! Perfect breakfast stop before exploring the city. Too many delicious items to try in one stop. The spinach, egg, and mozzarella focaccia is one the best breakfast foods I have ever eaten. Their baguettes are the perfect amount of crusty and chewy. And let's not get started on their sweets! Well as one girl in our group asked for gluten-free Isabella and Catrice proceeded to look at her stupid and laugh at her saying "this is an Italian restaurant" They made her feel bad for a medical allergy she can't control. So I am attending a conference at Art Basel and I had to kill some time. I'm a fan of Rosetta in Brickell so I figured I would grab a coffee and a bite to eat. The line was out of control. After waiting 15min I could understand why. Their operational processes were a mess. They had the guy ringing people up also making drinks. This made the food lady all backed up. By the time I got to "check out" my quiche was cold and quite frankly bland. Not to mention, eating off of a wood fork sucks (I get the eco concept). There was another guy coming back and forth to restock and I think his job should have been to make drinks during the rush. Needless to say, their food is normally great...they should try different check out processes (maybe even a kiosk?) to avoid some of the jam up. The baked goods here are wonderful. They have sweets and sandwiches available. There are also focaccia breads with veggies and frittata muffins. The coffee part is very slow. I haven't walked Collins ave in eons, but tonight I had to stroll down Collins with a babe to go to a clothing store. That's when my eyes caught a hold of Rosetta bakery's new location off of Collins & 9th. Rosetta bakery is one of my favorite Italian bakeries. I knew I had to drop by because their original location off of Lincoln rd is impossible to patronize unless you pay for parking, hence why I haven't been there in ages. This new location is impeccable and unlike the original location it's setup like a cafe with cute outdoor seating. Now to the goodies, glancing over the bakery offering was like browsing through the renaissance art section in the Louvre. Every sandwich, every tart, every morsel of food was magnificent, it was like a mirage of beautiful Mediterranean women. My friend ordered a mango fruit tart, and we were surprised to find out that they have "Lady's Night", every 6 to 9 pm on Wednesday and Thursday, so she didn't pay for the tart. - Ladys Night entails that if you buy a beverage you get one free food item. Now this is where I get pissed off. (Nov/21)@ 6:30 pm. Now it's my turn to order, and there's this dude, I don't know his name, but he has man-tits and is Latino, I'll just call him Melvin for the sake of the review. So after my friend was served, some guy she already served decided he wanted his order to go, so she starts bagging his order. Now instead of Melvin attending to the now 8 to 10 person line, which there was only 2 people including myself after my friend received her order. Melvin decides to ignore the line and start a personal conversation with the girl bagging the to go order. Not only that but he finds time to start "helping" her bag the two items, or should I say obstructing her from bagging the items, while also managing to hug her while simultaneously ignoring the ever growing line of salivating customers. By the time Casanova finished his escapades with the female employee, she then turns her back on the line and starts to make a coffee, for who I have no idea, because I am next in line and I didn't order it. That's when I said screw this, I just walked out with my friend, I'm not sure if anyone else bolted with us, but we took off. This is where I met God. Once we got back to my friends business, she offered me half of her mango fruit tart. I told her no because I was still annoyed and pissed off, and I didn't want to eat anything from that damn place. She insisted and we played push tug of war with the tart she cut for me briefly. After giving in, I put a piece of the mango tart in my mouth and I instantly had visions of snow white angels playing divine music with harps. I swear to Kwan Yin, before this tart even entered my mouth, it only briefly touched my lip and I was bombarded with fresh fruity heavenly flavors that could have only originated from the Tree of Life in heaven. I have circled the world 3 times, I've been to Europe, Africa, China and so on and so forth. I've ate eaten and ate in many countries, but I don't remember anything ever gracing my mouth quite like this divine manna. My toes were twinkling, my third eye was beaming, I never knew God could be experienced in an Italian pastry. Note to owner~~~ Hey buddy, your pastries are to divine to be ruined by jackass employee's, don't let these turds ruin your business, or make you generate less profit than you actually should. read more

Very cute bakery, super friendly staff, and their food was delicious! I literally stumbled on this place when walking back to me hotel from lunch and saw their display and had to go in! I got the custard filled croissant, and my husband got the custard donut. The custard filling was so yummy! It was just perfect! Not too sweet, and by far no means bland! The croissant was huge! It was a big portion, flaky on the top and super soft on the inside! And the presentation was perfect! Overall great place! Please be aware that you order your sandwich or pizza, the guy warms it up using a panini grill/press and once burnt enough, places it on the counter until the girl at the register rings it up. You also order your coffee once you get to the register, so if someone ahead of you orders a drink that takes 5 minutes... your burnt sandwich will have 5 minutes to cool down. read more

We bought a fruit tart and four bombolone with cream. They were good. I liked the floral scent - a hint of lemon and lavender like scent in the bombolone. I thought the cream to dough was a little scant but still delicious. The dough is very delicate, and soft. I actually prefer a slight chewiness to the dough for my donuts. It's a preference. For $5.20 per, I thought it was just a bit steep. I found a pretty good bombolone at Buon Italian Bakery for $3.50 that were equally delicious, although not the same. (You also don't get the pretty packaging which in honesty, I feel is a waste.) I probably wouldn't be going back for these since I found a cheaper version that was just as tasty. read more
