This is hands down the cleanest, friendliest, and most efficient DMV I've ever been to! The staff are as friendly as friendly gets, everything moves quickly, and the office is beautifully maintained. From now on, this will be the DMV I go to--highly recommended!

This place is terrible. While there are a few genuinely helpful and kind associates with outstanding attitudes, the overall experience is an absolute nightmare. The customer service here has completely gone downhill. The majority of the staff lack basic decency, empathy, or even a sense of professionalism. In a moment where someone is already feeling embarrassed, vulnerable, or struggling--whether it's asking for help or inquiring about fee relief--there is no humanity, no care, and certainly no understanding shown. It's like they've forgotten that people come here often in stressful or difficult circumstances, and rather than offer solutions, they meet you with cold stares and dismissive tones. The management is by far the worst part. Stella, the manager, is absolutely terrible. Rude doesn't even begin to describe her. She is one of the coldest, most unkind, unhelpful people I've ever encountered in a public service role. In a time of crisis, when someone simply needs guidance or a little grace, she offers nothing but attitude and condescension. She is an embarrassment to humanity and should not be in a leadership position, let alone representing the State of California. The DMV is supposed to serve the people of this state, but the majority of the staff in this location have forgotten that. Frankly, they should be ashamed. I sincerely hope the state reevaluates who they have running these offices, because what's happening now is unacceptable

So many people here! Parking lot is quite full.

Is this location open on Saturday?

Does anyone know a dmv near sac that has a high rate of passing behind the wheel?

If your not sure you can pass the behind the wheel driving test, don't take it until your confident behind the wheel.

I had behind the wheel test 5 weeks ago but not received my ID card yet, what to do?

I would go in for sure. At least they can look and see where it is or if you need to re-order one. They are pretty fast here.

Does this DMV still offer written exam? Not able to schedule online so possible to schedule in person?

Every time I've been here, it really is not that big of a weight where you were here for eight hours. I've never had an appointment and been able to get in fairly quickly. I haven't had to have a written exam for a while, but I will say there are a…

It's always best to get the correct answers, from the DMV, the First time. That way you'll be sure of what you need to proceed on your task. :)

Is the DMV open on President's Day?

    No they are not.

Has the Saturday time changed for the Roseville location? Are they now closed on Saturday?

Some locations are, but it's always best to look at their updates on their websites.

Can someone please post a DIRECT NUMBER for the Roseville DMV office to ask about local services at THIS office?

I do not have a direct number for this office. I know you must use the toll free number, which the representatives are very knowledgeable. However my niece works in the Roseville office so that's a plus for our family. Good luck!

Adj: informative and sufficiently comprehensive…read more An older branch of the Roseville libraries, but a good one! I've been here once before a couple of years ago, but recently, we wanted to stop by again. The library is NOT part of the Placer County library system, which was pointed out to me (I already knew, but it was good to be reminded) as I signed up for a Roseville library card! Did you know that as a CA resident that you can sign up for a library card at locations NOT in your county/city of residence? Yup, you do have to return physical items to one of the branches of whatever library system you borrow from, BUT if you were just using their e-materials like Libby or Hoopla, then it's NO problem! So I decided I wanted another library card, so I quickly applied online (short form) and then went up to the information desk and the librarian/assistant attentively helped me right away and gave me an overview of Roseville's library offerings as well as rules and regulations (and fees/fines). Unlike many other library systems, they DO have late fees here, but I don't plan to borrow physical books or any other kinds of tangible materials, so I won't have to worry about that. Onto the library itself. One side is books for adults (I hesitate to write adult books lest people misunderstand, lol) and there are many shelves of grown up books, so their collection seems quite comprehensive. Next, there's a shelf of Friends of the Library books for sale, not a whole lot, but a respectable amount. Then there's the kids section on the opposite side of the library, and there's a good amount of book stacks on shorter shelves that do not block the view of kids which I finally noticed is the case at like all libraries, lol. Not sure why I never made that connection before. It's a smaller children's area than other libraries, but they tried to make it more cheerful w/more colorful furniture and decorations/posters on the walls. There are also kids' computers that only kids can use so that's good. Finally, there's a community room that's pretty big for meetings and if you want to have a private event or party, it seems you can rent it for reasonable rates (see pics). Outside of that room, there's a courtyard, but I didn't see a way to get out there as the door leading out was locked, maybe it's only for staff to hang out and eat lunch in? I'm not sure, but that meeting room has a lot of nice natural light streaming in b/c of the floor to ceiling windows. Overall, this is an older, but well maintained and kind of quaint library next to Maidu Community Center which is inside the Maidu Regional Park (which I've not yet explore, maybe next time). PS - obligatory bathroom visit: clean, but older, some rust on the metal doors/walls, could use an update on some of the facilities, but everything was functional.

Pretty solid public library in Roseville next to the Maidu Community Center. We came up to attend…read morean event and decided to check out this library. IIRC, we've been here before, but it's been a while. This is an older library from the looks of it, but it's pretty well kept up. It's clean and quite open inside. The bathrooms at near the entrance and they were ok, my kid says it's a little messy inside probably from inconsiderate patrons, but it's still overall clean. Once you enter the library, you'll see the front desk / information desk. The wife had some questions and the staff was helpful to provide the info. Meanwhile, I wandered around a bit. On the left side of the library is the adult section with many rows of book shelves, there's also 1 long wall of books for sale by the Friends of the Library. Not a huge selection, but they had a nice variety for kids and adults alike. The kids area is on the right side of the library, not very big, but good enough. There are also about half a dozen computers dedicated for the kids to use. Towards the back there's a community room you can rent by the half-hour, guess you can't just reserve it for free. You're allowed to use it if no one else is occupying it and it's not being rented out, but for your own event, guess you have to rent it. All in all, this library isn't very big, but it's good-sized enough for the community as there are 2 other libraries operated by the City of Roseville, this library is not part of the Placer County library system, so it's important not to mix them up in case you do check out books from both systems. The look of the library is definitely dated, but it's kept clean and organized and it's nicely set inside the Maidu Regional Park so it feels safe and it's surrounded by nature, we'll definitely visit again.

We were here for a traffic violation of the texting variety. Parking was packed even before 9 on a Monday. Got through to security and proceeded to get our service wait tickets via an e-kiosk. It took about 10 minutes before we were registered and told to go to room 30 where the traffic violations were being heard. Upon entering this courtroom, the judge was hearing testimony from a police officer while the "violating" party sat in the table a few chairs from him. Mikes were sensitive enough for testimonies to be heard inside. I figured that those who contested their citations went first as the arresting officer were present during the hearing. This went on for some time, and a 15-minute recess ended the scheduled disputes. It went like a breeze after that as those with petty traffic citations were summoned in batches of three's. I sat with my teen during the proceeding and the judge was thankful for my presence. We luckily got off a forgiveness as this first-time violator was a minor. We spent a total of 2 hrs and 30 minutes overall. Not quite what I planned for a Monday morning, but I'm sure glad it got the result it did.
