She chewed and smacked her gum the entire time she was interviewing me. How unprofessional. She will make you jump thru hoops and still refuse your application. It's unfortunate that people like this get well paying job and are placed in positions of authority. Mine was turned in early because when i called and spoke with this man he said it was due a month early and now i got the letter stating i will be having some of my benifits stop. Heres the kicker they have the form i turned in early so they know i did it. Was never contacted by the office by email or phone and told i turned it in a month too soon. Now Im still gunna have to jump through hoops. I was lied to, dude gave a fake name and didnt even make notes of me calling in and asking about my sar 7 i have had a smart comment about not calling in soon enough yesterday to have this new issue sorted out ( dont get mail until later in the day reason why i didnt call hadnt seen the stoping benifits letter ) make sure you do as you are told or they will mess with you even if you actually need the help and arent someone taking advantage. Make sure you speak in your most kissing up voice possible because they will mess with you. . . This is not everyone however it most that answer the phones.

On this lovely Sunday that we visited, we came not long before closing, but it's opened from 1-5 on Sundays so that's still pretty good, plenty of time to enjoy this library. Although it's not a very big library, it has everything you'd expect from one. Upstairs is the teens and adult sections, pretty typical areas with lots of fiction and non fiction books, but there's also nice views of the lake and greenery outside the library from this upper floor. The main floor downstairs consist of the children's section and it's bright, clean, and colorful. On this floor, you'd also find that the space is pretty big and has lots of books for kids of all ages, as well as bathrooms, meeting rooms, a Friends of the Library book sales store, the main info desk with friendly library staff, and has all the comprehensive resources you'd expect at a library. Overall, we enjoyed visiting this library again even though it's not our first time, but it's still as nice as before, with a calming palette of colors inside and nice natural landscaping outside, making this a truly quiet and peaceful retreat in the middle of the bustling little bedroom community of Rocklin, CA in Placer County.

I brought my two step daughters and it was a weird vibe from the staff, overall. They also were arguing with other people in the library about sign up sheets for kids to read with dogs. They put out the sign up sheet for the activity about 20 min before it began but they didn't want anyone to sign up until 5 min before and they also didn't want a line to form for the sign up sheets. They didn't handle it smoothly or professionally in my opinion. We were in line and decided to leave because it was so awkward.

We were here for a traffic violation of the texting variety. Parking was packed even before 9 on a Monday. Got through to security and proceeded to get our service wait tickets via an e-kiosk. It took about 10 minutes before we were registered and told to go to room 30 where the traffic violations were being heard. Upon entering this courtroom, the judge was hearing testimony from a police officer while the "violating" party sat in the table a few chairs from him. Mikes were sensitive enough for testimonies to be heard inside. I figured that those who contested their citations went first as the arresting officer were present during the hearing. This went on for some time, and a 15-minute recess ended the scheduled disputes. It went like a breeze after that as those with petty traffic citations were summoned in batches of three's. I sat with my teen during the proceeding and the judge was thankful for my presence. We luckily got off a forgiveness as this first-time violator was a minor. We spent a total of 2 hrs and 30 minutes overall. Not quite what I planned for a Monday morning, but I'm sure glad it got the result it did.

The natural light coming from the large windows makes long study days feel less confining. I feel comfortable leaving my belongings at my table while I use the restroom. It's a risk to take unless you ask one of the many kind people around to watch your stuff. There are also study rooms for rent. I haven't used them, but I'm happy to have the option.
