What an experience! I booked an appointment with Dom. I told him I wanted to shave my head. My hair has been thinning and recently, someone I love dearly was diagnosed with breast cancer and has lost their hair. This was my first time at this barbershop and going to be my last. First I'll start off by saying don't expect to be greeted when you walk into the shop. Second, the quality of my haircut was not the best at all for a whopping price of $35. I guess a fade is considered a specialty haircut here, so if that's what you are going to ask for you will be paying $35. My fade wasn't even blended in, which was pretty disappointing the fact that I paid that much for a haircut. I have been to other barbershops were they don't charge $35 and they do better than this. I'm actually really disappointed this wasn't a better cut. I had some issues with the website not allowing me to schedule a time and I should've taken that as a cue. I booked Lorenzo and he was super nice. I just don't think he's skilled enough to be charging $35. I've been getting my hair cut by my barber for 8+ years but because he caught covid, it forced me to try other barbers out. I've heard great things about Rosewood and I figured I'd give them a try. My haircut is pretty simple: low fade, trim up top, line up. He spent 22 minutes on the right side of my head. How do I know? He stepped away to use the restroom and I checked my phone. I just hope this feedback gets back to him because I'm sure he's in great company. He stepped away after checking his apple watch, look, I don't care if you have to text someone back, just tell me. Don't act like you gotta use the restroom to send a text back. Back to cut, I shouldn't be able to see the line of where the fade starts. That would mean it's not a fade. He didn't spend nearly as much time on the left side - which is where I can see the line separating the two different lengths. He just didn't blend it in. As for the line up, I've never seen anyone line someone up with scissors. It doesn't exude confidence when your barber lines it up, steps back, turns off the clipper, goes to put it away, and then turns back and turns on the clipper and fixes it. Honestly, I knew he wasn't confident and it shows. I believe Marlon, from the photos of the website, was next to him and Marlon finished a cut and was halfway through another client while I was getting my haircut. Please help Lorenzo out. I want him to succeed but at least put a disclaimer or something. If everyone in there is charging $35 for the same level of cut, I would understand. But if he's charging $35 and his level isn't the same as everyone else's...that's hard. I wouldn't mind if this cut was $10 but to charge the same as everyone else is insane to me. Unfortunately, because the cut took so long, I said it look good just so I can get back to work. I'm really disappointed in this experience and I hope management sees this. Another thing, update your website so that we can see the work that your barbers are doing. Barbers, update your social media. Hindsight is 20/20, couldn't find your profile on social media, no photos to show work, I should've known. Hope this helps someone else out there reading this. I really wanted this to be the next spot for my haircuts but it's hard to justify if no one is holding anyone accountable in there. Really disappointed. read more

I am super OCD when it comes to my haircuts. Been coming here for years now. Since then, I have gotten my haircut by almost every barber there. I have to say I have not been disappointment yet. These guys know what they are doing. I am glad that they have appointments only now. No more going into the shop and waiting an average of 1-2 hours to get in a chair. So just make sure you are on time for your appointment. This makes it more sufficient for everyone in my opinion. (tip: look for an appointment on Sunday in order to get good times throughout the week.) My go to person is now is Marlon after trying all the barbers. 08/23/14 This place has a lot of good reviews so I decided to drop by after work cuz my usual shop was closed I do not agree with the reviews. Or maybe I just went to a guy who wanted to close up shop on a friday. He was a tattooed asian guy on the right. He did a good job on the left side of my head smooth fade.
