Finding a new barbershop is difficult but finding a cool barber is even harder. Today was my first visit and I had the pleasure of meeting David. Real genuine and welcoming dude. I appreciate his attention to detail and wanting to make me feel welcome. The environment is laid back, clean and kinda reminds me of a skate shop (yeah I don't know) but I really dig it. I've been following Matthew for a minute now. This new location is clean. It's in a Small shopping center next to Mr. Vs steakhouse and there is a lot of parking. I go every 2 weeks, I work in sales so I have to look clean and sharp. I usually get a mid fade and a trim on top. If you go to the shop just ask for Matthew he'll hook you up nicely. Several years back, I went to grab some coffee at Civitas and saw them starting construction. Looked up their website and the sign up process was seamless. Got my haircut from several barbers here over the years and they're all easy going cool dudes. I've been getting my haircut from Israel ever since. The vibe is always welcoming and family friendly. I get a pretty simple cut, mid fade, 1.5" on the top, but have a non typical head shape. Israel adjusts to it effortlessly and makes me look professional to have confidence when training clients and on sales meetings. Just moved to the area close to the shop, checked out its instagram, and thought I would give it a try! Scheduling an appointment was super easy and I got an appointment with Chris the same day! The shop was kept very clean and everyone in there was very friendly and welcoming. Chris got me in right on time and was very friendly and personable! He asked how I usually got my haircut and off he went! He was sure to check in with me as he was cutting to ask if I needed something different/more. He nailed everything I asked! Cutting a new persons hair isn't always easy (especially when it's been growing out for like 2 months), but Chris did great. Today I came back due to a scheduling mix up with my regular stylist, and Michael gave me an excellent cut! I didn't have an appointment, but after just a few minutes to set up, he was ready for me. First time here! Best Haircut i've had in my life. I'm 30 so that's a fair amount of haircuts. Evan was attentive to detail and I never felt rushed. He showed care and made me feel comfortable, since I was unsure what to expect with a shorter cut after letting my hair grow 8 or 9 inches. The cut was so fresh and clean that for the first time ever I didn't have to go and take an immediate shower, which is something i did with every haircut before this one.
