Went today to cut my hair called in before coming in and spoke with a gentleman and he had told me $30 and additional if wanted beard. Comes to find out the guy finishes my cut Josh and then ends up charging me $40 was not so happy with the service and customer service that is provided at this shop very poor communication and they will switch up and say oh I charge my own fee. That's stupid in my opinion never going back again and don't waste your time coming to this shop. Quality is very poor guy did not finish the cut. the vibe is also something very sus all you see is lots of guys walking back and forth like something is just not right. Better off if you go to a different barber it will be cheaper and a lot better vibe and service you will get for your buck don't waste $40 for a cut that was half way finished. read more

Came in as a walk in a few months ago and had my hair cut by Rudy. He's a great guy, very nice and professional. Has a very approachable attitude. He listens to what I want and gets it done just right. Very talented at his craft. Since then I've been booking my appointments with Rudy whenever it's time for a fresh fade. So went to my trustee Yelp and found authentic image barbershop besides being really close to the house. These guys were on point. Chris, which I believe is the owner was very accommodating. Antonio, who cut my son's hair was great. What I like about this place is their whole team bounces ideas off of one another to make sure everything's done right and if anything can be done better. Got a haircut by Adrian the other night. I asked for one thing but ended up looking like Ace Ventura, when nature calls. When the hairs on the side of my head are sticking out and are longer than those on the top of my head it's not just a minor detail missed or touch up that I needed. When I went back 3 days later for a touch up after getting back in town, had to go down to Miami to see about a missing dolphin... Chris the owner happened to be outside chilling. I explained my dissatisfaction and he invited me in to have Adrian, again cut my hair. I'm probably going to sound like a hater but I've been here twice and each time different barbers, each time terrible cuts. It seems like all they know how to do is use the clipper and do fades. Ask them to trim the top using scissors and they show how unskilled they are. The cuts were uneven and they get nervous when asked to fix a certain area. It doesn't seem like they know how to actually cut and style hair. The owner took responsibility and offered a fix but I'm not willing to take another chance. read more

Got a cut with Andy today and let me start off with saying I had no idea what I wanted. Kinda told him what I was looking for and he started to give me suggestions. Went with what he was suggesting and it ending up looking great. Took his time and would pause and ask if I had any additional things I wanted or if I had any questions. All in all the cut and beard took about an hour and I was extremely happy with the service. Will definitely be back. read more

Authentic image is a great barbershop with great employees that have great attitudes. My personal barber is Oscar. He does some really amazing work along with others in the shop but he never lets me down. Stay away! Bad service waited over an hour and to make it worse my sons haircut was horrible horrible!! Line up was not straight and the side hair was sticking out! I've never been to a barbershop that left me so disappointed on a simple haircut! And than the female barber has the nerve to tell my son that it was my fault for not explaining how I wanted the haircut! No one else has ever had a problem cutting his hair with out a problem! She's lucky I paid her because she didn't deserve full payment when I still had to take my son elsewhere so they can fix his haircut! Will not be returning at all! I'm embarrassed to say I haven't reviewed my favorite Barber shop. I've been coming to Authentic Image since the beginning of 2019, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. I haven't found a barber in here that I don't like, but today Omar's care and detail to my cut urged me to write a review. I had an old photo of me of the exact cut and style I wanted, and not only did Omar take extra care to copy it, he also enhanced it.
