Went today for gel extensions and a French. They got me in as their last opening before they closed. The place was so clean and the staff was so welcoming. They are so talented and reasonably priced. OK, I'll admit it: I LOVE PEDICURES! My wife had been begging me for years to get one. I always refused saying it was, "Too girlie." A few years ago I finally gave in and have loved them ever since. (Although I can't help laughing when they do the bottom of my feet!) I love the one that includes a calf massage! I forget the name but they have a few packages. I feel like I'm floating when they're done! Its SO relaxing! So for any guys who never had a pedicure, get one. They're great! I normally go before a vacation that will involve being poolside or on the beach. Then I'll normally get my back waxed as well. They do a great job at that too. Last time I went I asked her if she had time to neaten up my eyebrows as well. She did and I was very happy with the results. My eyebrows can get a bit, "Unruly." Rosie's is great. I'll just start by saying I was in desperate need of a mani/pedi the day I was going to a wedding. I arrived at Rosie's at five to 9 in the morning thinking that's when they opened. Little did I know they opened 1/2hr later...so I waited. At 9:20am when their doors opened, I walked in to ask for a mani/pedi and an eyebrow wax. The actual establishment is very nice- almost like you are in a spa. However, the nail color selection is very, very limited. Mostly only pinks and reds to choose from. Not much room for creativity. The woman behind the counter (who claims to be the manager) asked if I had an appt. I did not. I begged her to do my mani/pedi since there were no other customers there yet and I had been waiting almost 45 minutes for their services- all I needed was a simple french manicure. After some attitude and yelling in a language I didn't know to some girls in the back, she agreed to my request only if I would allow them to do both services (the mani & pedi) at the same time. I was short on time so that was fine with me. They rushed through both services and had me out of there by 10:15. I left thinking this would be my new go-to nail place! However by the *next* day, my toenails had chipped and my nails had started to bubble up as if they were going to be chipping any minute. I returned to the salon to explain that for the price I paid (which was far above your average $30-40 deal...think closer to $80) this was unacceptable. She looked at me as if I had 4 heads and asked me what I'd like her to do. I told her I either wanted a partial refund or I wanted them to be re-done. She refused both requests and told me it was my fault this had happened. I would recommend you stay far away from Rosie's unless you have a lot of money to blow on a really crappy nail job. Frankly, I can get a $20 mani/pedi that will chip the next day and be fine with that but when you pay upwards of $80, you expect more. read more

I have been here twice and both times I had a great experience. Last time I got the green tea pedicure - which comes with 10 min massage that I LOVED. I also got the gel manicure. I rarely write reviews, but i had to let my experience be known. Love the owner, Rosie. very nice lady, however,some staff, especially Amy (has an nasty attitude! Had her twice, once a facial, doesn't know what she is doing! And a bikini wax, left me disfigured and bruised!) and John (smells like sigarettes bc smokes every 15 min! and doesnt follow directions when doing a massage!) But the rest of the staff are great. I can't imagine what nail salon the people below are talking about. I have been going for gel manicures and regular pedicures for years. My nails always look good, Rosie and my manicurist, Kim, are warm and capable, the salon is very clean and I love the paraffin treatment that is a normal part of a manicure in the colder months. They tend to be busy, so make an appointment. Don't walk in 20 minutes before closing and expect an hour's manicure! read more

They're kinda pricey, but they do a fantastic pedicure. I go elsewhere for my nails as the prices are way too high and they do not have the greatest variety in colors. Highly recommend them for pedicures, though. read more

i love rosies! its a very clean, and professional environment. ive gone here before, and it was just as great! i love getting pedicures here, but i mostly would prefer manicures. today the hot towel for the pedicure was a bit too hot, but it wasnt a big deal. my favorite part about coming here, is at the end of your session, they give a short, but a very enjoyable shoulder massage. i highly recommend coming here! read more

I walked in once to get a manicure because my nails were at the point where I didn't even want to shake someone's hands. WELL, I was pleased when they were able to give me a manicure in 35 minutes at my lunch hour. Not to mention, its a freaking paraffin wax dip manicure for $12 BUCKS. Needless to say, I go back every Thursday at lunch for a manicure. thank you Carmela D. but as a struggling student, its nice to be able to treat myself in that manner for that price. Shush! My husband was in surgery near by and the nurse told me to go take a break find something to do that it would be at least 2 more hours so I decided to google salons in the area and get a pedicure. Everyone was friendly when I walked in and took me right away . When I sat down for the pedicure the girl asked me what kind of pedicure I wanted so I told her just the basic but something extra for dry skin so she suggested calluse remover so I agreed . When she wrapped my feet in plastic with the gel , it started to burn so I told her my foot is burning so I peeled off the side of the plastic and I had a burn on my foot! She got up and brought back another lady who looked at my foot and said oh don't worry no blood and had the girl put a bandaid on it . So after I get a chemical burn the nurse calls me and says to come back ASAP so I tell the lady not to paint my nails I'm sorry I have an emergency. I pay her $30 for unpainted nails and a burn on the side of my foot , as I'm running through the parking lot the lady comes chasing after me and says wait give me 10 more dollars for the callus remover . I had no time to argue so I paid her but give me a break lady I know it's not their fault I had to leave so fine I had to pay for the pedicure as if my nails were painted but to chase me outside for 10 dollars that you forgot to ask for for a chemical that actually burned my skin off . So they get a one star just for their smiles when I walked in but 0 stars for my $40 unpainted burned pedi. read more

Take warning from all the negative reviews, including this one. The pretty decor and comfy chairs (the reason for one star) are cancelled out, in my opinion, due to the poor service and even poorer quality of pedicures and manicures. I have more polish on my cuticles and skin than on my actual nail bed. Along with the horrible way that my nails and toes look, I won't be surprised if they start to chip by tomorrow. Also, both the pedicure and manicure were completed in record time and the time was not taken to clean cuticles and prep the nail. Here are some examples: my feet were pumiced for about 3 seconds, the scrub and COLD stone massage were also about 3 seconds. I really wanted to thank then for the cold towel that was put on my legs and feet as well. How could I also forget that the foot basin did not turn on. When I asked why it wasn't on, the manicurist said it was broken. I asked why I couldn't move to another chair and she didn't answer. Also there was no soap in the basin and I commented on that, and again there was no response. I've gotten better pedicures for $18. This one was $25. The manicure was a reasonable $10, but awful. I can do a better job on my nails and toes. I will happily do my own nails instead of ever returning to Rosie's. Lastly, I must say that even when service is sub par at an establishment, I still tip. Not today. Not at Rosie's. Their lack of service and disrespect towards customers made it easy for me to make that decision. I felt badly, but this is not a factory when you are pumping out pedicures and manicures just to get the next customer into a chair. However, based on my experience and other reviews, this is exactly what they are doing. Customers are looking for a little bit a relaxation from a hectic day or week and Rosie's staff did not meet those expectation in the least. Check the reviews on salons. I never write reviews. I have tried this place multiple times and have been to many other salons. I keep trying this one becasue it is close. The maicures ( I was getting full sets and refills) did not look great and they were more pricey than any other salon I have been to in the area. I kept going back for the pedicures bc I likes their pedicures but today when they told me it would cost an additional 25.00 just to paint my nails with a gel polish vs regualr polish, I was stunned. I went for the regualr polish. That was earlier today and the nailpolish is already chipped on both feet. I wont be going there anymore. read more

Let me start by saying DO NOT EVER BUY YOUR WIFE/GIRL FRIEND A GIFT CERTIFICATE FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS THEY ARE USED TO GOING THERE. My husband got me a $28 Pedi certificate from this place for my b'day and finally had a chance to use it. I got to the place at 6:30 not knowing they close at 7pm. As soon as I gave my certificate the lady behind the register took it and told me to pick my color. Once I sat in the chair and all it was 6:40. I have never had anybody rush on my nails before as this place was. Spanish lady who worked on me didn't speak any English and was rushing the job so badly that when she was cleaning my cuticles was more painful than ever. Before you know it my pedi was done in 20 mins and she messed up my big toe so removed the nail polish and re-painted it without putting the base. Also cut my nails all slanted - when I asked her to correct it her reply was it is good. She never even gave me a chance to sit under the dryer and gave me attitude the entire time and kept looking at the clock. As I was walking out I did tell the owner/manger to not get any client after 6:30 if this is the type of service you're going to offer them. Manager's argument with me was we close at 7 so we can't do much about it. My thing is don't just take someone's money if you're not able to give them a service which they deserve or paying for in this case. I would never go back to this place nor I would recommend this place to anyone. Like the last review said they open the store half an hour late which means if you can come late then you shouldn't have any problem in closing it a bit late either. DON'T GO BUY THE LOOK OF THE PLACE GO BUY THE SERVICE AND REVIEWS OF THIS PLACE - IT STINKS!!!! read more

Their pedicure is better than their manicure, but still not great. They are not very diligent or thorough. The polish usually chips within a few days. I don't like going there, but I always do. If you are need a new nail place, keep looking. read more

I went to Rosie's by chance about 2 weeks ago. The place was clean, friendly and busy. They took me in for an unscheduled manicure and pedicure. They were thorough and complete. I was very happy with the service and the prices. Don't know about the other negative reviews, but so far I am really pleased with them. read more

I called the nail salon prior to going to ask how much for a mani and pedi and the lady that answered the phone said "$40." When I arrived I was very impressed with the way the salon looks....very nice. The lady that I believe was the one that answered phone asked me to pick out a color. I picked out my color and a guy that works there did my pedicure. I have to say that was by far the WORST pedicure I ever had. He cut my toe nails very short and did not even file them straight. In addition, he barely even cut my cuticles. All together it was about a 15 minute pedicure. I was very disappointed when he was done. He then asked me if I would use the same color for my mani, I responded and said "I changed my mind, I don't want a mani." When it came time to pay he said "$28." I told him that the lady that answered the phone told me $40 for both mani and pedi, so just a pedicure should be $20. He said no it's not, it's $28. I'm never going back there again. read more
