Aida did a wonderful job. No-one else in there was friendly. $140 DOLLARS TO GET TIPS-short and square. Nothing special and a pedicure: $140 NOT INCLUDING A TIP! $90 for the nails. I did not want gel, but she already started putting the gel filler on my nails. I never even knew this stuff existed. Never asked what i would like or anything. I was whisked in for my pedicure and then nails. (And me Like an idiot, bc i was reading, missed it) I said i want acrylic. They didn't have. So the only option was powder- ALSO $90. Never in my 55 years have i ever paid $90 for tips plus $10 for french. I will never again walk in here. Way to many great places and friendly faces in East Hanover to come here. I went to this salon as I saw good reviews through Facebook. I asked for an acrylic fill in and gel pedicure. They don't offer acrylic so I had a uv gel fill in instead(fine not a big deal). There was a little discussion between the workers, seemed like no one wanted to do the pedicure or nails, I arrived there at 5pm and they close at 7.Got sat for a pedicure and they also started on my nails. As the girl who started drilling my nails she had only done 2 and I looked and she had this weird rounded coffin shape done to my nails and they were extremely short. I guess she saw me looking like what the heck happened because my nails were a decent length and they were a sharp square. So she finally says "do you want them filed" and I said "just a little bit not too much". She proceeds to finish the one and they are completely short with a weird shape. I am not one to speak up during nail appointments but I was so disappointed, I asked her can you please make them square and she says "later". So I'm like ok maybe just trust the process. She does the other hand and walks away, I look at both my hands my left hand is now longer than the right and they are all completely different shapes, just literally anything but a sharp square. I asked for 2 white nails, 2 black, and one silver, and a heart on the ring finer. The manager showed me a heart sticker they could use and I was 100% ok with it. The girl sits me down after my pedicure is done and she's constantly asking if my nails were even (which they weren't at all) I even left with some of them still slanted because she just couldn't fix it. When she went to put the sticker one it took 45 mins and 5 other people to try and figure out how to do it, I told them that it wasn't a big deal but they just kept trying and let me leave with it messed up. Also during my pedicure the manager uncharged me to a spa pedicure that I did not ask for. I asked for a simple gel pedicure. Attached I have my nails that I walked in with and a picture of nails that I left with. I was told my service would be $57 for nails and $47 for pedicure, ended up paying $119 not including tip! i also did not leave the salon g until 7:20-7:30pm!!!!! I have never gotten both services done that took that long. I did not feel heard and I was not asked before shortening and shaping was done, along with asking me if I wanted a spa pedicure done, feel completely ripped off. read more

Tried this place out for a gel manicure and pedicure. I never get nails done so did not know what I was in for. For the pedicure they ask if you want green tea, lavender, orange, few other selections. They put it into the foot bath and it turns into JELLY!! Then they massage it all over your feet and legs. It's feels so weird and good! Then they legit rub honey and lemon all over your feet and give you a lovely foot massage. I was confused because I just asked for a regular pedicure.. this was all included! And the chairs are dope. I actually relaxed! Anyway this pro cleaned up my botched bootlegged feets making them look and feel fantastic. Manicurist did a great job on my gel nails too and she gave me a lovely lil neck massage. She shined up my usually sad broken anemic nails and spiffed em up just right for an upcoming event. Both of the women and I think the owner were very nice. Plus it's clean, and they line the foot bath with plastic liner. I'll be back!! read more

I didn't realize there was a nail salon in this shopping center [near Michael's - always forget about the far side] I am glad I tried it out. My manicurist was very nice - they have all the colors, [did a fun light purple on my toes, ballet slippers on my hands] massage seats are good. I had both a gel mani & pedi - so I needed a removal of existing gel as well. Price was $78 cash price - which is very reasonable (credit card fee of 4% is transferred to you if you use a card - $3?) I chose the green tea pedi - you have different options (I only remember lavender as another option) - included with the pedi was salt scrub, lemon and honey massage and my feet were really smooth - great value! Call ahead as I think they do get busy, because I tried to make a Friday afternoon appointment the day before and nothing was available but fortunately, Saturday was open. read more

Owner knows nothing about customer service. I was late and phoned. I Apologized on the phone!!! I asked if it was still ok to come? Instead got a " we will see what we can do" and hung up on me..Still was rude upon arrival. "If can't see what you can do as I was told on the phone, then maybe a simple apology and sorry can't accommodate you today" would have been just fine. Instead, I was being rushed by a rude grown man with my two year old. I don't ever need that treatment from a service I'm paying for, late or not. This is a nail salon, not a military base. Even doctor's offices are more forgiving. Never going back. Neither are my three family members who always go there as they witnessed the rudeness. read more

This place is just horrible and not in the sense of the quality of the work. More so in the quality of customer service. This place is like a sweat shop where no one smiles or is friendly. From the time you walk in the door it's an instant dismal feeling. The owner or whoever the lady at the front desk is dreadful. She is not welcoming or accommodating in anyway. I called and made an appt with her for a fill in with another technician for Thursday 12/5 and i when I showed up for the appt she said that I didn't have an appointment down in the books and then pretty much put her head down and continued doing what she was doing ignoring me. My main issue is not that the appt was not booked cause mistakes happen. Its that she made no attempt to try to rectify the matter. She just ignored me until I said something to her. But it didn't even matter because she wasn't trying to be helpful in anyway. I bet if I was a blonde hair blue eyed women she would have jumped over hurdles to rectify the matter. Great customer service is key. Its what differentiates you from the hundreds of other businesses offering the same services. and the business has none! read more

I've been meaning to review for a year now. Michelle the owner and her team are just lovely. They have the jelly pedicures that I wish I could put in a bathtub but that's a personal issue lol. Anyway this place is clean, easy parking and right off RT 10. They do good work and are quick but still you never feel rushed! I'm not one to usually leave reviews or ratings or complain about service. But I went to this establishment to get a manicure with acrylics. I was thankful because even though I didn't have an appointment, she squeezed me in to her schedule and I didn't wait more than five minutes to get a chair. But, the service could have been better. I say this because during my session, getting my nails done, the employee that I had would constantly stop to answer phone calls, check people out, and add appointments to her book. so this caused me to be in the salon for longer than anticipated. I understand being understaffed and not having enough help but I would have liked to been compensated for the time it took. I feel as if it shouldn't have taken 4 hours for a simple tip that was not a long length. But I could be wrong and want to give them the benefit of the doubt. She did ask me if I liked the work she had done before finishing, the design did not come out how I wanted, even though I showed her a picture multiple times and had my phone open so she could see what the picture looked like. And because I am a person that doesn't like to cause issues and was the only person of color in the facility I didn't want to cause a scene. But what really upset me was the fact that I paid $115 for my nails just for them to start falling off four days after getting them done. Just hope they see this and do better for other clients if their prices are this high for simple designs. read more

If you want a thorough relaxing manicure and pedicure this is a great option in the area. Way more relaxed, less crowded, noisy than other drop in places. This was my first time coming to Days by Nails the only down side to my visit was that I made an appointment 3 hours prior and they had my mom and myself waiting for 25 minutes which honestly is not terrible sInce most salons make you wait it seems. I can honestly say this was the best pedicure I've ever had and I'm no stranger to the pamper world, I got the spa pedi with Jelly (never had this before and it was mind blowing) real honey & lemon like she actually took the bear honey and squeezed a lemon over my legs holy cannoli what a difference. Just had a full set of gels done by Michelle . She did a beautiful job, she took her time, made sure there were no streaks and she also uses a salt scrub on your hands and a glove moisturizer. It took a while but my hands and nails look great. I also had her do an eyebrow waxing and it came great. Join their rewards program while you are there. The jelly pedicure is so wonderful and relaxing. They use real honey and lemons in your pedicure. It's so relaxing with a really nice foot massage. The ladies who work on your pedicure take their time and do a great job. My manicurist was really thorough and removed all of my overgrown cuticle and did a really nice job polishing. Owner is nice but the girl who did my nails didn't seem to know what she was doing. My cuticles were cut too much and incorrectly. This caused a lot of discomfort for a few days. Also, I think they should change the privacy screen so people can look into the salon. Currently, you can't tell if the place is open or not. read more
