Great selection and nice workforce. The quality of the merchandise is unsurpassed. It is a pleasure to do business at Ross.

The service was not at all welcoming or friendly. Instead, I felt only hostility. From staff members; the tone of voice and the way they spoke to me felt like my intelligence repeatedly was not only being questioned - I couldn't shake the energy that was exerting from the atmosphere within the store. Because of my appearance, the way I dress (I'm surely convinced this had played a role in the way things shifted into what had ultimately just left me feeling very embarrassed and disappointed after all that was said and done) and obviously the manner of how I carry myself while I shop around the store and occasionally make small conversation with either an employee or another customer whom I personally had no recollection of anyone being any more sociable or looking "out of the ordinary" to my own general surroundings while I was browsing around Ross. Quite frankly, I felt completely comfortable with the presence of my existence; anyone coherent is absolutely capable of pointing out how miniscule and irrelevant the difference was, measured in comparison of 'one vs. another.' When someone does something, or says something to you very publicly to make you feel like you have done something to deserve being singled out and accused of having alterior motive for certain actions that "you are absolutely positive in your immediate instinctual call of judgement" that I just *HAD* to be up to no fucking good! Well lady - thanks for humiliating me in public, which is totally my favorite passed time..(not.) You very obviously felt proud of your professional business decision to accuse somebody with severe CPTSD, crippling anxiety, and ticks that are ESPECIALLY coaxed out of me when my brain and body feel any emotions that trigger my fight, flight, or freeze reactions. This is something that has become apart of what "normal" is for ME after enduring significant reoccurring traumatic events throughout my life. I do wish you open your heart and mind to considering allowing you and your staff members to open mindedness and the willingness to become a bit more educated on the 'what's?' 'why's?' and most importantly WHO you may mistake for a criminal. Hope you are better prepared for the future and I wish things were different... Marshalls it is...! read more

Place is almost empty. There are security locks on the batteries. No women's clothes or men's clothes in sizes s-xl. Barely anything in the home decor area. read more

I came in today to get a few candles, a bit cheaper compared to other stores in the area. In the candle section, there was broken glass on the floor. I was wearing sandals! They need to amp up the service, and check the aisles more. read more

This store is just bizzare. Employees: Nothing against the people who work there, it's more about the management and hiring. I have never seen the same person twice working there. I go in about 1x a month, and I have personally known people to work there but never last long. I wish this employee would have had some guts. A woman in front of me had about 10 dresses, and she got to the counter to pay, and she couldn't decide what to buy and kept telling the sales associate to remove dresses, add dresses to her bill. VERY ANNOYING. The associate should have just cancelled out the sale and let those of us who knew what we were buying just get through the line. I ended up just leaving my cart in line and walking out. I don't have time for this! Shoplifting: You can tell they are ripped off a lot. There is always a (strange) security guard up front, and you can't take a shopping cart in the dressing room due to high poles on the carts--I always wondered what they were for--now I know. Not the store's fault, but still weird: Oh, and the best...a lady lost her keys in the store. They had been looking for two hours when I got there. My two year old and I were walking around, and when we got up front to pay, my son leaned over on someone else's cart and started playing with...you guessed it...KEYS! I called the lady over and said, "I think we found your keys!" She came over, grabbed them, and left. No words of thanks, nothing. Creepy guy: Told a shopper that she should be modeling the clothes she was buying. We all just looked at one another in line and shook our heads. WOW-- CREEPY! I find I don't buy as much there as I used to. My daughter is getting older and I can never buy anything in my son's size for some reason. It's great for baby gifts and home decor on a budget though. So for that...I'll give it two stars. If you choose to shop at Ross, enter at your own risk and be prepared for weirdness. read more

Great place to find shoes OR if you need to get some FUBU or Ed Hardy gear. It's hit or miss depending on what location you go to. I really like one in my area. It's clean, everything is not all over the floor, and lines are never long....BUT then there are the other locations. It's like walking through a field of landmines. Clothes all over the floor, aisles are impossible to walk through and the employees are looking at you like you just killed their new puppy. Still, to find a pair of Kobe V for $50, I'll make the trek. read more

I shop Ross at least weekly..was VERY disappointed when shopped for a friend a week ago & went to return 2 of 3 items & couldn't find receipt, but was on my credit card. Employee said I would get store credit...fine, but discounted $70 purchases by $20??? Came home & Found receipt..called store within a couple hours & was told NO...they couldn't run it through again..LAZY or What? Will curb my shopping there way more than the $20 they cost me.. The employees are wonderful and the selections and prices are great, but I was appalled at the behavior of the manager. She berated one of her employees, in front of customers, for directing a customer to the nearest ATM because it was at a competing store (Walmart). When she realized the customer was looking for an ATM, she morphed into a gracious kind person and repeated exactly what she berated her employee for saying. Of course the person she morphed into was not gracious enough to apologize to her employee. If she is going to berate her employees in front of customers, she should at least have the good manners to apologize in front of those customers when her mistake is made apparent. read more

A few years have passed, so I figured it was time to update my review. The store has nicer stuff in stock now, and I have been able to find nice shoes in my size that are actually affordable for once. It's still sort of chaotic when you first look at it, but I have discovered there is in fact a system to the madness. Everything is in very specific sections, so once I figured that out it was actually pretty easy to get to where I needed to go. The last time I went there was to buy some tennis shoes for walking/gym, and I found some great ones for a nice price. The security guard is still a kind of weird creepy guy, but he doesn't follow me around anymore as I shop somewhat often there. Nice to see some improvements. read more

The store is fine, but I just got searched several times for absolutely no reason. If you go there, prepare to be treated like a shoplifter. Appearently that is how everyone is treated who walks through the door. read more

This store has bad customer service. The employees are alway standing around talking and not doing their job. If anyone else have issues with this store, there is a number you can call to complain. That number is located behind the registers next to the window on the wall. If you call the right number the situation will be dealt with. read more
