Finding a parking spot can either be a challenge or an absolute nightmare. Once you do actually find parking, make your way as quickly inside as you can or prepare to be hounded by beggars and panhandlers. The line to checkout is also a disaster. With so much crowding and congestion surrounding the line to checkout it's difficult to determine where to line up without being in the way of other shoppers. Poor design. In spite of everything I do like shopping here. A nice selection of clothing as well as home decor and random items, all at reasonable prices.

There are double doors that will lead you into a cute atrium with the businesses surrounding it and the spa is on the left. My massage with Karen was amazing! She was very friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire treatment. I've never had a deep tissue massage but after a stressful school semester it was much needed! Karen listened and adjusted her pressure as needed and focused on the areas I requested. I also received a few extras like a facial mask and aromatherapy that really added to such a relaxing experience. For me the one thing that can make or break a massage is the way the therapist handles the sheet and my privacy and Karen did her very best to make sure the sheet was tucked in all the right places. I would absolutely recommend Karen if you are looking for a professional and relaxing spa experience! I will definitely be back after next semester!

As I am a college student, I've got a bit of a small wallet, so shopping here is always nice. They have quite a variety of clothes for very affordable prices. pants here are especially money-savers. It's usually a quiet store, though it's not the most organized as shoppers often leave things they don't want everywhere and employees are short of hands and can't put everything back immediately. Also, the cashiers are very stoic and look almost always annoyed no matter what attitude you have as a customer. Regardless, the prices and selection are good. read more

N o problem unless dealing with a 20 to 30 lb bag of rice and beans that is a little over the top but when I have those items I choose to go through the lines where the workers will remove those items, They also have the best Meats in the business if you don't believe try them for yourself go for the prime select Meats,as the choice is good but the marbling on the prime steaks and ribeye are Bar None to many meat market I have ever been to. Costco also has the snack bar which is outside the store and the only downfall with that is they have six to eight machines outside and only two to three work which is not a problem during most of the day but around noon and around 5:00 p.m. they're super crowded and you're dealing with a lot of people who act like they've never been to Costco and can't pick what they want so it takes a lot longer to get to one of those machines. The upside is when you do get to the counter the step is really quick and friendly and make sure your order is complete before they send you on your way with a smile.

After waiting for a manager to come over, Yadira asked what size it was. The second she heard "small," she looked my boyfriend and me up and down with a judgmental expression, clearly assuming neither of us could possibly be asking for that size. The shirt was for my mom, who was already in the fitting room. Being looked at with that level of visible disgust and assumption was humiliating and honestly unacceptable from someone in a management position. Body shaming does not always have to be verbal. Facial expressions, tone, and treatment speak loudly too. What made it worse was the complete lack of accountability afterward. Instead of apologizing sincerely, Yadira responded with dismissive comments like "I'm sorry you took it that way" and "I would never do that," while continuing to act rude and avoid eye contact. Retail workers interact with people of all sizes every single day. If someone in management cannot treat customers with basic respect without making assumptions based on body type, they should not be in a customer-facing position.

You can ask anybody who works here for help and they will stop what they're doing and walk over with you to what you need. The selection is great and they have every style and every size. The prices aren't cheap but if you catch it on sale, they have buy one get one free or buy one get one at 50%. It ends up being very reasonable. We have an account and we could order online and even get a little bit of a discount but there's nothing like the personal service they provide here so we schlep to the mall for it

This store was once the Bakersfield Scuba location which appears that they took over the business that was next door because from my memory it's a lot bigger. It's one thing to talk negatively about customers like that where other customers can't hear or off the clock but while you are on the clock actively at the registers... Just gross. And once we got to the registers, the cashiers continued talking about their personal lives in detail including very loudly sharing to someone two registers over about someone having a stroke and passing away?! Completely inappropriate!! This whole visit to this location was just inappropriate on the staff behalf. Unfortunately this is the best selection in the area dollar store wise other wise i probably wouldn't be returning to this one... unless the staff get hugely corrected on their behavior.
