My son who is 5 picked up a plastic container that was displayed and the sales associate just yelled at him to place it down. I turned around and said its plastic it won't break secondly if it got damaged I would pay for it so no need to yell at him. Not all little children are misbehaved there are few that are disciplined. It looks like they are still decorating their space since the shop is only 3 months old but I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for indian clothing. The staff person was very helpful and accommodating. She was very knowledgeable about the designs as the store is a local fashion designer and her products. The staff person was attentive and very friendly. There were no high-pressure sales. The items are a little bit more pricey although I felt like I got a good deal on my particular evening dress. I think the price point is right on however for a boutique fashion shop with one of a kind designs. I will definitely be back again for more night out on the town outfits. When I contacted the shop, they showed zero sympathy for how important the evening was and offered no apology or compensation whatsoever. They insisted that if the zipper was going to fail, it would have done so in the store -- "never" outside of it. Their solution was to fix the zipper the following day, which was completely unacceptable since the dress was needed that night. To make matters worse, they wanted me to drive over an hour to University Village at 3:30 PM on a Saturday afternoon with my daughter stuck in the broken dress so they could "inspect" the zipper. My daughter was part of a group of 11 seniors headed to professional pictures, dinner, and the prom--time was extremely limited. This lack of understanding and flexibility made a very stressful situation even worse. When I expressed my desire for a refund, I was told it was outside their 30-day window and no refund or exchange would be offered. When we purchased the dress, we were told we had to buy it immediately to have it in time for the dance--essentially protecting them from any responsibility, no matter the circumstances. Adding insult to injury, when my daughter tried contacting the woman for help to get out of the dress, her calls went unanswered and were never returned. We were also wrongly accused of zipping the dress incorrectly and misaligning the zipper teeth. Anyone who has dealt with formal dresses knows it takes more than one person to zip these dresses. None of the teeth were damaged, and the zipper was not misaligned -- my daughter was fully zipped into the dress before it failed. They clearly don't care about your special evening; the money is the only thing that matters. I cannot recommend this shop for formal dresses. There are shops that care far deeper than your pockets. This is not one of them!!!!

They were extremely accommodating with my insane schedule. They were honest and upfront about the total cost of alterations. This place is NOT cheap, but it IS worth it. This is not an alterations studio, she is a designer and dressmaker and has an amazing eye for how things should fit the female body. This is exactly what I was looking for. The shop is VERY cute, very professional, and has tons of dresses to choose from. I did not buy my dress from here, so this is related to only alterations. The gal that helped me was very kind and knowledgeable. It was a great experience, but the pricing was out of this world. I've gotten 2 other quotes for my gown at $350-$400, and they quoted me $1150 which is well over what I even paid for the dress. I'm not suggesting that they don't know what they are doing or are not skilled or that their time is not worth payment, simply that I think it is way overpriced in comparison to other alterations places. They definitely know what they are doing and am 100% confident my dress would be perfect if I chose them, just be prepared for sticker shock if you go here first.

This is high quality stuff. When I was there, a pregnant woman was having henna done on her stomach and there was such a lovely, warm vibe in the shop. The workers were so nice. They told me about some cool details of the things I bought that made me feel more connected to the makers. So many of the goods are freaking gorgeous with beautiful patterns. I want to go back and get a robe from them -- they were made from pre-owned sarees! Many things were made from those, including skirts, bags, scrunchies, and scarves.
