I went in here today to get some hangers as I need to get some stuff, and I found the hangers I needed. I also found some Gurunanda toothbrushes. That means I don't have to buy pulling oil to find an extra toothbrush in those boxes. The toothbrushes I found are so colorful that I managed to get one out of the box and it was a purple color. The reason I took off one star was because I wanted to get some screen protectors with anti blue-light features but it was so deceiving. It was also meant to protect the 14 plus which is the kind of phone I use. But it was hella deceiving. It's disgusting. read more

The store is clean and well organized. They currently have many spring and summer clothes and decorations. The prices are reasonable as well. Now I have something to complain about this Ross. So today my girlfriend was trying to reload her ross gift card. She asked the guy if she could reload her card and he said yes. When he asked Catalina the cashier next to him for help, she automatically said they don't reload gift cards at ross. Then I said that the other ross from fullerton Elizabeth said we can reload gift cards. Then Catalina was saying no you can't. So after so many no's we decided to leave and call costumer service. My girlfriend called costumer service and asked them if ross reloads gift cards and then they checked our gift card number multiple times and then they said yes they do reload and if they're having trouble that ross can call them and they'll help him step by step how to do it. So we go to ross and wait in line again and we get the same guy again and we tell him what the customer service representative said to her and then Catalina jumps in again and says that they can't call costumer service because they don't do that there. So she still saying that they can't reload cards and then she calls her manager and she also said that ross can't reload cards. She just keep on repeating it to us so we can leave the store i guess. She was very rude and not helpful about it. She didn't want to call costumer service at all but she calls her manager, makes no sense. So we left once more and called costumer service one more time. My girlfriend told them what just happen and they asked us to go back and hand over them the phone because either they were being lazy or just not informed how to do it so they were going to tech them because the service from the buena park ross was unacceptable. My girlfriend told her we weren't going to back for 3rd time because we were fustrated but she was so nice and helpful on the phone. Then we went back to Fullerton Ross instead and luckly we got the lovely Elizabeth as our cashier. Who reloaded our gift card in less then 2 mins. She was so nice and welcoming attitude. This looked to be a less-stocked store for the chain. There was very few items in stock, overall (I looked at the women's clothing, beauty department, women's shoes, and women's socks). I did notice the locked Michael Kors handbags. One rack. We didn't stay here very long, either. It was very sad. I would say that this would be worth a look but don't make a special trip, otherwise you might be disappointed. It would make a huge improvement if the departments were all well-stocked. Come here whenever I need some new work shoes,belts and some hiking shoes as they tend to have a great variety and always at an affordable price. Usually, you get what you pay for. What I like about Ross is that the price is always right. Sure, they aren't the most organized. It's more of a treasure hunt. That's why my wife likes it. Because the store is such a mess, you never know what you might find. Makes it an adventure to shop! I appreciate their furniture section. I'm reading through these horrible reviews and it concerns me because I do work at this location. Yes we are understaffed, and we take our return policies serious, especially if the items are used. Surprisingly friendly service! I bought two rugs and a full length mirror for my work and they don't let you take the carts outside. But the cashier said she would watch my cart so I could pull my car around front to load. Unexpectedly nice considering I had pretty low expectations! The prices are always great here - it's just a matter of having a lot of patience and sorting through all the crap to find the gems. I'll start with the customer service. It's horrible almost every time I enter. It's all transactions to them. I guess could be understandable because it's a get in and get out type of store but it's almost off a movie or a skit of how the employees treat you. My last visit was to return items and the cashier would not even look at me and didn't even tell me bye or have a good day it was so awkward because I didn't know to when we were done. The cashiers and security guards were all talking to each other during multiple transactions of different people. It's just so rude too see. This place is ridiculously understaffed, the line goes around the store, and only 2 cashier's open. They have 2 other registers towards the back of the store (near mall entrance), that are closed. I asked a staff if they could open those. She replied with a rude eye roll and "i already asked the manager" and shrugged her shoulders. Also, i saw someone ask for a price check and she said "the cashiers can do that for you" when you have a line that goes towards the back of the store , who the heck wants to go get a price check? Ross caters to women, tho they do have a few mens items like sweats and shoes, but I've noticed that A lot of there clothes have holes and are very Dirty, missing buttons, tears here and there, I can't believe how low Ross has gone. And I heard that in the last days of January, Ross puts a lot of things on sale for 46 cents I believe it, only because That Is All I Woukd Pay for a lot of the things they re selling, its a lot of trash mixed up with a few nice things and lots of womens clothes. I see more staff walking around, answering questions. The lines are never huge like at other locations, too. I don't normally go here except for when I'm wandering the mall and end up bored. I hate this Ross & their ridiculous lines!!!! I usually enter the mall through this entrance and see things I like, but the consistently long line always deters me from buying anything. I just went to Ross tonight to buy headphones and left empty handed. Although there was a huge line that went all the way to the middle of the store, there were only 2 registers opened! The other registers near the mall were all closed. I stood in line for about 5 minutes and moved only a few inches before I finally gave up. The most frustrating part was watching 3 employees in the clothing aisle just standing together and chatting. Ross to me is the lowest of the bargin shopping stores compared to tj max and marshalls. The stores are alway dirtier and disorganize. I find it too overwhelming to search through the racks and their selections seem to be of lower quality. I usually go in for picture frames, bedding and knick knack. Not a true place for me to shop The workers also seem to be less friendly and they usually have a security person at their doors which makes you think that it is not a safe place to shop or that they dont trust their patrons. read more

the workers always look really depressed. I gave this one star because the employee named Robert that I see frequently is the best. He is helpful and always smiling. He looks clean cut too. He was a loss prevention team member now I see him sometimes but he usually works in the back I guess. All I know is I came in and the employees kept talking while I am checking out, socialize on your own time. Focus on your guests. I think Demetron or Demeon ( young boy) helped me and he didn't even ask how I was, literally scanned my item and then talked to his friend. He didn't even say goodbye or any closing statement. I literally put my card in and had to grab my receipt. I just feel a lack in customer service. The manager working looked unhappy too. If I could give a 0 I would. The cashier wouldn't let me check a bag that she had just removed the pin from. I asked her I wanted to check it to see if it became damage. She said it was fine and threw it in the bag. My husband got the bag and asked me to check the bag. This upset the cashier. At the end of the transaction the lady rudely tells my husband to take the receipt. My husband asked for the receipt to be handed to him (as all receipts should be). She told him that there is a sign saying that the customer has to take their receipt as they leave! My husband told her there was no sign and that he would like his receipt. The cashier then tells my husband to walk to another cash register to look at the sign. My husband again asked for his receipt and the cashier went to the manager stating my husband had screamed at her. The manager did NOTHING! At that moment, my husband asked to return everything and the manager told him to make line. She just walked away without apologizing about the incident or hearing what happened. We waited in line again and was helped by the slowest cashier. She kept making comments about the products and just starring blankly. As soon as we got home, we emailed Ross about their terrible service. Thankfully we got a response stating they will be looking into the matter. I have always shopped this store since it is the closest one to my house. It is very busy and the lines are long sometimes. They are under new management, which is a good change! I needed help with some furniture and the store manager Jonathan came to help me. I have never had service that good here when I have came here before. There's never anything good at this store. Many of the merchandise is damaged, dirty, dusty, and in too poor of a condition to be sold. They refuse to give discounts on them too and tell the customers to clean the itemd themselves. This store is full of unattended children running wild and playing with the toys on the floor. Not to mention unfriendly staff. The cashiers often refuse to accommodate you especially with dirty or damaged items. The dressing room lady refuses to help you unless you hang your clothes on the rack for her to count even if you only have one item. If you don't catch what she said about her policy the first time, she won't repeat herself. She would much rather roll her eyes back to the 5th dimension than help you out. My father walked out of the fitting room after trying on a single pair of shorts and the lady kept telling him that she wouldn't accept the shorts from him unless they were placed on a hanger and on the rack. I have been a long time ross fan, sadly I will not be returning to this location any longer. Id much rather go out of my way to get better customer service at another ross. I went to this location to exchange a pair of heels without a reciept that were a bit too small. Briannna assissted me and proceeded to tell me that I was trying to return shoes I had previously worn. Then called the manager maryann and she told me the same thing. They said the only thing I could do was find another pair. I said there was not any that I liked and if they could give me store credit. She said since I didnt have a reciept they could not do that and brianna also said I was lucky they were making an exceptiong and allowing me to exchange it. I had about had it at this point and left. As I was leaving and my boyfriend was a little behind me. Brianna was completely unaware that he was with me and started commenting badly about me. I would give 0 stars if that was an option. They made me feel so UNCOMFORTABLE!! Like as if I was going to steal a $20.00 (most expensive piece of clothing in store) item. I work for my money and I want to enjoy shopping without loss prevention and constant employees watching me. You are a sales associate, not security that's what you have that dude for loss prevention, it's his job to make sure things aren't stolen. If you guys are helping him do his job then maybe the manager should reconsider the store security. But as a sales associate you do not make customers feel that way.
