Hey fellow Yelp users! I went to the Ross at the Crestwood location on 6/09/24 from around 9:30 am - 11:00 am. Items: They had a decent selection of items. I was specifically looking for more workout clothes since I'm a sub Group Fitness Instructor at the XSport not too far from the Ross. I ended up successfully finding some new workout pieces to add to my wardrobe. Atmosphere: I thought the atmosphere was okay. I did find it rather strange that they had no music playing. I was literally shopping without music for like about an hour to an hour and a half lol. They didn't play misic until around 10:30 am or closer to the time I left the store. At other Ross locations and other retail stores, they usually play music, so I just thought it was strange that they didn't play music right away. Customer Service: I thought customer service was great. The line wasn't too, but there was only one person at the cashier register at the time. I ended up doing a return before doing my purchases. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of this. I attempted in returning a cologne that was in a tin container and cashier/sales associate let me know that unfortunately I can't return cologne since it wasn't sealed. Overall, I had a good first experience with my visit at this location. I will definitely come back if I'm ever in the area. I hope this review helps Ross & its current and future customers. Sonia is insulting and treated my senior mother horribly and racial profiling! She would not let my mother look in the mirror after unlocking a $69 purse! My mother's coat and the purse she came in with were off and right next to the manager. She told her " you can't walk away with the purse!!" She then said it again and when my mom said she was insulting and she was rude she screamed at her and said , " I'm not selling you anything!" Security then came over and then my mom decided to leave. I then called to get the full name of the manager and was told she was busy and was hung up on! Be careful of spending your hard earned dollars here. This establishment was better managed years ago and now it is doing this! They refused a sale of $150.00 all because of the racial profiling of a Bigot of a manager. This is wrong!!! read more

I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted to buy. Then I saw that there were about fifteen people in the checkout line with only one person at the register. I felt bad for her, but not bad enough to stay. I walked out and found what I needed on Amazon. read more

this Ross deserves half of a star, honestly. the manager was very unprofessional and horrible, He allowed a sales associate to argue with a customer across the floor for at least three minutes, the manager and associate was racist. read more

Why is there not one cashier station open with nearly 20 customers in line? When I asked the staff member assigned to "rearranging shopping carts," she said that she and the cashier are the only staff working today. One star is actually too much. read more

Filthy store, all the clothes are dragging on the ground. Everything is unorganized. Going to checkout there's about 6 people in line, meanwhile there's only one cash register open. Wait times just in line are more than the time I spent looking for things in the store. Wouldn't recommend this location at all. After shopping then waiting in line with only one slow cashier, and returns, the machine would not take my card! Tried 3x. Went to car, got my friend, and there was another long line. Called the bank. It was Ross. Not waiting a second time. Going home online to Amazon. THIS ROSS, WASTE OF TIME. read more

Let me begin by saying I didn't really have high hopes for this store, but merely decided to try it because it was new and I needed a dress. I was pleasantly surprised! I usually hate shopping for clothes because I can NEVER find anything I like that fits me for a decent price, but I walked out of here with 4 outfits for a very reasonable amount. The store itself was much like Marshall's or TJ Maxx in the way it was set up, and it was relatively busy for a Sunday afternoon so things seemed a little cluttered. Every employee I came into contact with was very nice and very quick & professional with their work. I can see how a store like this is going to have its moments of being a hit or miss with clothing, but I'll definitely come back again. read more

I've visited this store several times and noticed how the Manager doesn't step in to assist when lines are long. Other customer were saying that this happens. I enjoy shopping at Ross stores, but I don't care for the lack of customer service they provide at this location. " Greet your customers, ask if they need any assistance , and for the manager , please step if there is one long line of customers waiting to spend money at your store. read more

I enjoy going to discount stores like Ross, but you really have to be in the mood for it and be ready to spend at least 30 minutes to walk through all departments. I normally don't go in with expectations. Sometimes they have items associated with luxury brands, such as Swarovski, Vince Camuto, Michael Kors, etc., yet many times they carry are leftovers from the previous seasons at a department store or a mall-based clothing stores. Some people are uncomfortable with the loss prevention officer standing at the entrance, but with a store this large, it's necessary. People are friendly, but I don't ask for help usually since I'm not here on a mission. The typical items I get from a discount store are, work shirts, pants (if they fit my petite body), casual clothing, headphones (there's no need to go Best Buy to spend extra bucks for the same things), and any random novelties that would catch my attention. You gotta go into one of those stores with an open mind. Otherwise, that's not a store for you. read more

If you are going to ross in Crestwood you better be strong and have multiple arms and hands they don't let you use the shopping cart to get your purchase out to your car.
