I stopped into this Ross in an attempt to locate a gift for my godson and when I walked in I instantly regretted the decision. The place is very empty and what they do have is just thrown anywhere. There was literally one person working the register and I didn't notice anyone else on the floor. I really hope they're going through some kind of transition or something because it was a mess. Customer service was great! Cashier greeted me and asked if I found everything ok. I dropped in today bc I have an appointment in the area. I usually don't shop Ross due to low stock and merchandise is on the floor. I've been in quite a few and they're all like that. This location no different. I decided to check out the decor section - pillows, blankets, drapes. There were a couple of throw pillow sets that caught my eye. I decided on the soft grey/blue/cream combination. I'm changing up for the Spring/Summer months. It's a very nice pillow set. The prices are reasonable. This particular pillow set $21.99. Most were running $22 to $25 not bad considering they're very nice. If you're in the area stop in you may find something you like. Definitely check out the decor section. read more

Got here as soon as they opened. Store seems to be organized. I was looking for something to wear to a funeral and I didn't want to spend that much. Well the selection for plus size is quite slim and the few peices they did have didn't seem to be from this century, if you can understand what I'm saying. The employee that worked the fitting room was very nice. Although I didn't find anything that interest me I did leave with a pair of cool kicks for my baby. This store is so dated that it makes the shopping experience such that I want it to end very quickly. The handful of times I've stopped in after grabbing stuff from nearby Target, I usually walk in and out almost immediately. The store looks super disheveled. My last visit was to find some sandals for my little boy. After scouring the shoe racks in Target, only to find a bajillion girls' sandals but nothing suitable for little boys, I headed to Ross with low expectations but a tiny bit of hope. I was lucky during this trip because I found a few pairs of sandals in little AT's size. I snapped some photos and sent them to big AT. He liked them all and picked some cute navy and yellow ones that our little dude wears almost all the time now. The warm weather has even his little baby feet sweating, so the sandals make him way happier. Ross is certainly not a top shopping destination, and with online shopping being my preferred mode of buying stuff, it is really low on my list. Hopefully, it will get easier to buy my kid stuff online once he's older. The challenge now is a small difference ends up being big relative to his little size, so it makes more sense to check stuff out in-person. Most Ross stores are a disorganized mess, and that's part of the fun in shopping through them. It used to be you could find a good selection of plus sized clothing. That you could find more than the current season, but that seems to be changing. Today, I went in just to see what was in this particular store and while I did find 2 dresses, 2 pair of jeans a sweater and a couple pair of panties, I was sad to find that there were no t-shirts, nothing but sweaters. Their dressing room clerk was a bit on the abrupt side, but hey, brusque can be useful. read more

I'm only giving two stars because I've found some good things in this store in the past however the customer service has always been subpar at best. The upkeep and inventory of the store was always okay before. Unfortunately since Covid this place has fallen way off. Low inventory, items out of place on shelves, items on floor, etc. I've gone a few times over the last several months and haven't been able to find anything. On my most recent trip there, I was only in to find a few things and to my surprise I did. However, had I known that there would only be one person at the register, a common occurrence, I would not have bothered to step in. Usually there's at least a few associates in the store. Yesterday I only saw the cashier and the loss prevention staff. There were several people in line when I went up and I have very little patience. It's unacceptable for a customer to wait five minutes in a line and the cashier calling out the next customer by saying "whoever is next, I don't know who was first." Idk what it is with these companies not caring about customer service because I swear it doesn't exist outside of Publix and chick fil A. I'll probably start trying a different Ross for a while and hope for a better experience. read more

I really wanted to give them four stars because I found some great deals here, and I wasn't even in here for myself! I stopped in to get a gift card for someone and happened to see an adorable turquoise cardigan that was light and spring-y and only $15. I'd been looking for something just like that, so I got a little excited! But... the service sucked all around. As I walked up to the fitting room with an armful of adorable wardrobe staples, I saw the sign about having to hang my items one by one on the rack so the clerk could count them and give me a number... Except, it was like the armed forces up in there. She watched me like a hawk, following her eyes wherever my hands went, and when I accidentally dropped a hanger, she didn't miss a beat and whirled her head around to watch me pick it up and recount. I get it. You want to protect your products from being stolen -- but is it worth it to make your customers feel like they're under such suspicious scrutiny? Not a good feeling, especially from someone who couldn't muster a hint of a smile. The dressing rooms were clean (as was the whole store, really), and men and women each have separate sides. You're allowed eight items at a time. I walked around some more and got a few items for the kitchen that I'd been wanting, like bamboo cutting boards, a coffee cup, etc. Then I made my way to the line to be checked out. Where I waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. The line multiplied and everyone started getting antsy... and none of the employees did anything about it. Some of them walked by and tried their best not to make eye contact with any of us and the one lone cashier dealing with us must've forgotten how to use her phone to call for help - she didn't think to do so until there were about eight people in line. Not to mention, the line for returns/exchanges was closer to her so she'd call those people up before the people who'd been waiting forever and a day. When the new clerk came up, I realized that he was actually a manager. But he was tense and impatient with me despite taking his time when getting everything together before he began his transactions. The best part: I asked for a gift card and before I could even say what it was for or where they were, he grabbed one from behind the register, swiped it, asked me how much, and handed it to me. It had a picture of a baby on it. I don't think my mom wants a picture of a baby on her gift card for mother's day from her very-not-pregnant daughter. I asked him if they had others and explained that I wish he had asked me what the occasion was because I wasn't happy with what had chosen. He dismissed me, didn't seem to care. I complained again, and then he offered to fix it, but not without sounding rushed and annoyed... I probably spent just as much time in line as I did shopping. And, really, it's not that I mind waiting --- it happens. It was their complete lack of giving even one tiny bird's poop about everyone and seeming like they couldn't be bothered - all of them! - that I found to be so shocking. They could have a great store if they didn't hate their jobs so much. read more

Overall this store is sparse at best. Ross' return policy is poor in regards to customer service. Tj Maxx and Marshalls allow a return without receipt but Ross will only give you the current price which can be drastically lower than what you purchased the item for. For example brand new kids' shoes that I purchased for my daughter were $21.99 and by the time she could wear them they didn't fit; the return offer was $1.49 their "current" price. That is a joke. The other above mentioned locations will return the item according to the ticket price. That makes more sense to me. Plus they have more of a diverse selection. read more

Their slogan, "Dress For Less" is spot on and as much as I hate to admit it (and I usually don't), I love Ross. I tend to end up in Ross out of random curiosity, because I just so happen to be in the area. It never fails that I come out with a bag of clothes on these random visits. Last night, I walked in "just to see what they had" after visiting Target and walked out with a pair of pants, a sweater, and two shirts. The quality of the brands and the fabric they are made from is questionable at times, but that's where the fun begins. You have to pick things that will last in order to pair with items such as statement jewelry, a blazer, etc. to spruce it up! A part from fashion, their home decor section is pretty nice, too. You will have plenty of people fooled on how much money you've spent to decorate your home. I get compliments all the time on things I've purchased from both their clothing and home section over the years. I'm sure I'm missing other aspects of this store, because they do carry almost everything you can think of. I mean, Ross really is the bomb.com. This Ross was very busy when I was there in search of a rug. When struggling with the rug, an employee walked past and didn't take notice. Unfortunate as that was, got the rug out and an employee (Mr, Bahaa) saw us and asked if we needed any assistance. He carried the large rug out to the front (by the cashiers) and thanked him. This Ross is a regular stop on our bargain-hunting adventures and it's located in a really nice area with a lot of other nice shops as well and is another thing that it has going for it in my opinion. We have been in here a few times and it is always very well organized and the staff was very nice to us when we came into this particular store. Ross always has some good deals in it but its hit and miss. We have been in this Ross a few times and found nothing, only to return at a later date and find several good deals. Also, there are so many people going through their items that you really need to pay attention to the size, etc of what you are picking up. This is a good place to go if you are a serious bargain hunter although as a man, I usually make sure I have my iPod or a good book when I go in here with the wife:) read more

Each time I have been in a Ross the service has been TERRIBLE. Not just bad customer service but an " I don't give a Sh#tt attitude. Today at the Perimeter location was no different. I was trying to take a quick look during lunch at bath towels. Found the isle as I heard very loud talking....and chit chat. There was an associate on the end inventorying items there was also 2 other associates at the other end and in the middle. They were having a wonderful time sharing stories from the weekend. No one even looked at me as I stood at the end very nicely kind of waiting for someone to let me enter. I stood for I know at least a minute...which is a long time if you are standing doing nothing. They each saw me and another woman at the other end of the isle (by the way this was durning lunch time which I'm sure is one of their busiest time of the day). I finally left and was walking out. I went back and did mention it to the Manager. He was cordial ( not overly concerned) and said he would look into it. This similar scenario has happened at North Point location. Their prices are great but it is not worth the bad service. Save yourself a trip and go to Walmart or Goodwill. You will probably get better service than this. read more

I was one of about 10 people and we all just left our things where they were and marched out of the store. The little girl that kicked us out came running after us demanding we put the stuff back!!! Firstly, I love Ross stores, so take this with a grain of salt. This is one of the worst Ross stores I've ever been to. Some are great, but this one is ALWAYS lacking in merchandise and selection. Racks are always half empty, selection is very poor and I rarely find anything worth buying. The service sucks too and there is ALWAYS a long line for checkout, because the people who work there work at a painfully slow pace. Avoid this location, if you can. Plymouth meeting is better, but still not a great store either. read more

Ross was our third stop of the morning on mine and my S.O.'s morning off this past week. After fueling up on coffee at Panera Bread and a fairly unsuccessful clothes search at Loehmann's, we decided to check out Ross to see if we could, in fact, "dress for less." Unfortunately, the only way that Ross allowed me to reduce my clothing expenditures was by providing literally nothing in the category of clothes that I was looking for that fit me. Visiting Ross reminded me why I never shop at these types of stores and why I have avoided them for probably about a decade or so. Upon entering I was not greeted, offered any assistance or even acknowledged and we quickly split so that he could look in the men's clothing section while I perused for women's business casual, or at least a step up from casual, selections. When I thought that I had gathered the only two items within this category that might fit me I made my way to the dressing room, which was neither welcoming nor conducive to creating an attractive atmosphere and clothes-buying attitude. The shirt was not quite right for me and was made of a material that I do not think I would feel comfortable trying to get away with wearing and the capri-style pants that I tried on were so ill-fitting that I swear I could have passed as a Hobbit double for the Tolkien series. I guess it is not necessarily their fault that they do not have any clothes that come near to fitting me, but it certainly would have been nice if they did. Ross certainly is not obligated to clothe me and I am not so arrogant that I feel entitled to such shopping conveniences, but it was a bit frustrating, to say the least. I do not really see myself going back to Ross at any point in the future, but you never know. There are just so many other stores in the general area that have clothes that fit me, feel good to wear and that are pretty reasonably priced. read more

Very nice store, super organized and no crazy lines like the John's Creek Store. Didn't really buy anything today but enjoyed browsing. Why is it that the stores in the perimeter are so much nicer than those north of the Perimeter? Is it really that difficult to find good retail help? I started out at the JC store this morning and I had to wait in line for at least 15 min because the register jammed and no one came to assist. Eventually 2 more registers were open but that original employee was still waiting for help as I exited the store. I have visited the Perimeter store before and have never had this problem. If you are not from here, I would liken this place to a downscale AJ Wright (now closed) if this makes sense. Upon entering, it was clear to me that I was on my own & left to figure out whatever I needed to best way I could! I was able to score a pair of basketball shoes for my son. They were the ONLY pair there just HAPPENED to be his size, thank goodness...Once I was ready to cash out, I went to the only register with the light on but no one was there. I politely stood there with my purchase, hoping to get someone's attention....and YES! Here she comes, only to turn off the light (giving me absolutely no eye contact or hint as to where to go) : ( I then turned to the customer service counter because at least someone was there, but another customer beat me to the punch (Darnnit!) Again I waited patiently in line, only for the other girl to go back to her register and to invite the person BEHIND me to step over...Oh yes she did! And to make matters worse, she actually said next person in line, please step over while staring DIRECTLY at the person behind me...LOL, OMG, WTF, all of that!!! I couldn't hold it any longer Yelpers, I said, Um excuse me, unless I am INVISIBLE which I am sure that I am NOT, I am the next person and you have some nerve turning off your light and not saying a word to me and then coming back to invite the person behind me to come on over with a gleam in your eye! She attempted to offer some lame excuse and I told her to just save it, because today would be the day that she went home confused and in a daze after the tongue lashing I would have given her......I have one word for you guys...CUSTOMERSERVICE!!! She told me off like a school girl on many occasions for either standing too close or checking things on racks that are there while waiting for my husband. Don't come here. Shopped for 40 minutes and went to fitting rooms only to be told they were closed and they closed them at 10:30. One hour before closing time. So I ended up trying on at a mirror out In the store. Mostly tops and dresses. So I just tried them on over my clothes. The staff weren't very accommodating or helpful. But we're super busy hurrying us up out of there, so when I was done trying on all my clothes, I just left them in a big pile, I know that's kinda not nice, but they were pushing us out, so I just didn't bother putting them back *shoulder shrug*They are more concerned with the announcements and PUSHING people out the door with their very unprofessional announcements quoting "please come to the front so we can get you out of the store as quickly as possible" then they kept announcing to me and a few stray shoppers, actually coming up to us, around the front while they had a line formed. Right at 11:30 and they were pushy trying to force paying customers out the door. I had a Steve Madden wallet and 2 of the young girls were both talking at me at the same time to get to the register quickly while I was deciding to get the wallet or not, so since they were in such a rush, I just dropped it in a bin and walked out. I wish I had gotten the names but they weren't wearing their badges. I don't come in here often but I can say that after tonight's experience I definitely DO NOT see myself ever coming back LIKE EVER! Good job Ross at running your customers off. You LOST one tonight. My advice to corporate and management to correct these issues is to have UPDATED quarterly training. read more

This was the worst customer service experience experience I have had to deal with. I run a company that prides itself on customer service and this was the exact opposite. My wife bought a jacket last night and realized she needed one size bigger when she put it on today. So we brought it to the jacket back to return it only to have the lady at the counter whos associate number is 355908 accuse my wife of wearing the jacket multiple times before trying to return it. What she failed to do before accusing her of this is look at the original receipt showing that the jacket was bought the night before after 6:30 p.m.. Then proceeded to continue to not want to return the item. She did finally exchange the jacket but then only to tell my wife again that she would not return something again that was worn multiple times. Again accusing her of wearing a jacket multiple times in less than 24hrs. As a national company you would think the people at the counter would be trained in basic customer service and taught how to read a receipt before assuming and accusing someone of something. read more

This is a very convenient location and i have experienced pleasant shopping times within this store. On most occasions, my shopping experience is rough and not welcoming. Most of the employees are rude and in a rush, or there is only 1-2 registers open so there is a wait. But on this particular time, i needed to return some unused boys clothing (i rarely return), two of the items did not have tags and i had no clue. No big deal right, well the return lady was moving so fast and rushing through the transactions, also not in a pleasant manner, she couldn't seem to find the items on the receipt with no tags, again no big deal. Another employee ( lady with a mens style haircut) proceeded to ask the return lady if she needed help, as she looks over the receipt, she makes comments like "oh I've never even seen this brand" and "are you sure this is the right receipt". Well she couldn't find the items either! She then rudely tells me to take it back to the location i bought it from and puts the receipt down. I then advised her with an attitude, a refund can take place on the things you did find. She says nothing, and let's the return lady continue to do her job half ass. I get to the car and i find 1 of the items with no tag, just by looking at the brand and description of the shirt! These employees are either incompetent or lazy and the manager doesn't care about the atmosphere of his store! read more

WORST RETURN POLICY EVER!!! I was a loyal consumer at Ross atleast once, probably twice a week, until now. I tried to return items bought for my daughters room makeover. I had no receipt but they still had the tags on them and were only purchased 2 weeks prior. 5 items, I paid no lower than $25 a piece. When she scanned them, they rang up as .45 cents, 1.80, .45 cents, 2.00 and 1.50. She said items go on sale every week. ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I have shopped at this store for YEARS, and NOTHING that was $25.00 ever rang up for .45 cents!!!! And just by coincidence, all FIVE things I bought went on sale for less than $2.00???? Great prices, the store can be a bit unorganized at times, so when going in just make sure you have a little time. You can definitely find some good deals here, sometimes saving 50-60% off of items if you were to purchase from another store. I've always been a fan off Ross Stores, but you definitely have to be patient! read more

Normally when I come in I don't have many problems. I am a regular customer and I went to try on some items on 7/19 and I believe that the guy who was over the fitting rooms name was Heron. I asked to speak to a manager and was informed that he was in fact the manager and I told him that he was rude and I did not like the way he treated my little sister when she asked to try on clothes . My sister is not from GA and he made her first back to school shopping experience a bad one . When I explained to him that we were not having a pleasurable shopping experience he said "I'm sorry you feel that way" he was more focused on laughing and joking with co workers than the task at hand. I asked to speak to his boss and was told I have to call the store tomorrow . I asked to leave my number and Heron told me he couldn't guarantee that his boss would call me back . Surely if his boss cared about customer experience in sure he would call back.
