I found a colorful one that didn't follow the typical red/green/white Christmas color way and was lower priced than nearby Walmart's ($24.98) . So the place is packed with merchanise and I came into this location with hopes of getting two vases that were the same and I had a color in mind. I found two vases of the color I wanted on clearance for $9 each. Helped another woman out with picking two black unique dishes I told her to use them for her island. If I could fit in the clothing here it would be over for them lol and my wallet I found a gorgeous dress it doesn't come in my size but I hope someone buys them out. Hopes, dreams, merchandise, common sense, efficiency, everything comes to die. Please avoid if you can. I only go here because it is literally down the street from my house. It is dirty, unorganized, and I don't even want to even imagine what the bathrooms will look like. Employees are just a shell of a person (pretty sad). I went here on a Friday afternoon. I received some baby clothes for a baby boy, but I have a baby girl. I don't have the receipt, but I thought, hey, it's still on the hanger with the tags and never worn, I'll just go and exchange for something else. Nope, because that would make too much sense. I get there and of course, there are 10+ people in line and only 1 cashier. They called another cashier and he came. Of course there was not a separate "return/exchange" line. There's only one line. They won't even let me drop off my stuff so I can go get the new stuff to exchange. What they want is for me to line up behind 10 people, go through the line, get a store credit, go get my stuff, then line up again. I was having problems with my card and the cashier Omar which is somehow an assistant manager there told me to step to the side and I said ok politely and I let him know "it'll take just a couple minutes" and he looks at me and says " ok you see the line right?" Mind I was just letting him know I'll be out his way soon. This never happened to me, I was a little embarrassed and was being genuinely nice, I was glad to step to the side. i didn't know if he misunderstood me so I proceeded to apologize. instead of saying oh it's ok sorry for my response (standards for a normal person manager or not) he wanted to argue...????? I frequent all of the Ross stores for our dog rescue for name brand items to either auction or sell online. This particular location has always been one that I have never had any problems with. That's a rarity due to the number of exchanges we have as our rescue depends on their exchange with receipt policy. Some locations hate honoring this policy, but never this one. Basically with receipt, we can exchange any item on the receipt at what we paid for it rather than having to settle for the clearance or lowest selling price. As far as cleanliness and organization, I would have to say this store is one of the better ones. Some stores stock items in such a dangerous way that I often avoid those locations as much as possible. read more

This is my favorite Ross in the Willowbrook/Cypress/249 area. Most of the time, I feel like they have more to offer and better items. I came in today for some kitchen essentials and walked out with a lot of great deals. It's funny - after coming to Ross, I went to Target. I bought a set of colorful measuring cups + measuring spoons by Kitchen Aid for $5 and when I went to Target, they had them sold separately, for about $7 each. Steal! Plus, I found some elephant salt & pepper shakers - anytime I find something elephant, I'm happy. I found a lot of great, colorful items I wanted for my kitchen and employees really make an effort to greet everyone that comes into the store. No complaints. read more

I normally enjoy shopping at Ross, however, this store has the worst customer service. The associate, Sunsa, spelling maybe off, is extremely unprofessional. She asked me to take my clothes off the hanger and fold them to speed up the process. I only had two items. When I questioned her, she became extremely rude. I had to fold my items and ask for a bag. She did not even put my two items in a bag. I will drive out of my way to a Marshall's then experience poor customer service. read more

First, let me say that any type of store like this, I have to be in a special mood to visit. I have to be in a good mood for one, and in the mood to search for a bargain. If I don't meet both of these criteria, I steer clear. With that said, this Ross store is one of the most organized that I have been to, and good or bad, I usually end up leaving with a lot of goodies! The clothing area is usually very well organized, with sizes in the right places, and a good selection. The kitchen area always has a few hidden gems. The shoes haven't been very successful for me, but I don't think it's the store's fault! I really enjoy going to this location, and it's one of my favorite ones in the Houston area! read more

Remember to check the context of your Ross plastic bag before leaving or else might just end up with missing items. I purchased 9 items and chosen them out during the two hours I shopped around. I choose 7 clothing pieces, 1 pair of flats, and 1 cooking utensil. Part of the fault was I did not check what the cashier had put in my bag before leaving but on the other hand was my carelessness for even putting trust into the customer representative. When I got home, two clothing pieces was missing in my bag. The plum cardigan and a long sleeve light wash button up was missing. Nothing like the picture shown- Overall the setting of the shop was disorganized and messy but the election range for clothes, toys, kitchen,bedroom, and bathroom was vast. read more

Every time I come to shop here the store is being rearranged, I'm not sure why there's a need to move everything around. The ladies shoe area is almost empty and so is the handbags and accessories. The dressing room is now on the other side too? There's always just 1 cashier open and one for returns. What I find obnoxious is when the cashier calls the next customer over when the customer they're helping isn't even done or left the register. I would like to leave 0 stars for this place I am treated horribly here every single time, the employees disrespect and ignore me and my mother, we shop her frequently but that will be coming to an end, the employees will ignore your questions as they continue with their conversations with other employees. Horrible customer service! First off... everyone in my family shops at Ross..: sometimes when we're bored we just go to Ross to see what we can find... my mom especially loves Ross... so this situation is really upsetting to her and now she has a bad taste in her mouth due to the way she was treated... My mom was shopping there and went to the restroom... unfortunately she left her cell phone in the restroom and walked to the shoe area... she immediately realized her cell phone was missing so she went back to the restroom and could not find it. There was an employee using the stall that she was in so my mom waited for her to finish and asked her if she had seen a phone in the stall to which she replied no. My mom then went to the front of the store to ask the employee nicely to announce if anyone had seen the phone and could return it for a reward... the "manager" said that they could not use the intercom for that... I don't see why or how it disturbs their business to help out a customer who was in distress... and I'm not blaming Ross for my mom losing her cell phone... but I'm blaming them for not helping the situation... they didn't even let her use the phone so she could call me... the loss prevention person let her use their personal cell phone... like come on... They have a loss prevention team to protect their store but they don't care to help out a customer... t read more

The store gives off a very thrift store like vibe. I would not say that I thought that these were the best deals because some of these were quite pricey still. Like the furniture and designer bags were still quite pricey, but I think that the prices were justified. Also, deals on shoes and socks were great. you would get like 10 pairs of socks for $3.99 if you were lucky. Also, I think that the staff was quite nice. When we entered we were greeted and I also think that there were not a lot of people to help you around the store. read more

I liked going to this Ross store because it seems to be the most organized out of the Ross stores I have visited. On Wednesday an incident took place and I am not sure what to make of it. Everyone who shops Ross goes there to get a good deal. Sometimes one may end up purchasing things that was not on the list but because of the discounted price. On Wednesday in the men's department I chose 2 pairs of Under Armor shoes for my son because his birthday is in a week. I also chose 2 Under Armor sweaters. At checkout the worker said to me one of the shoes had the wrong price. I said okay find out what the correct price is. Then she said "someone may have changed the price," after a few minutes waiting for the price, I ask her what did you mean by someone may have changed the price? She said " yes it does happen people change the price on products" I have never heard such thing before this incident. I ask her "are you accusing me of changing the price?" She said no, but it happens and I have to check because I may get in trouble. I told her if the store puts the wrong price on a shoe why would you accuse people of changing the price? Another worker who has more common sense saw the beginning of a conflict and possible lawsuit for discrimination and racial stereotyping, commented "we made a mistake and put the wrong price on the shoe, we are not accusing you of anything, but we have to check and make sure the prices are correct" I left the store feeling violated and striped of my pride! This was wrong and people should not have to be randomly stereotyped because of the color of their skin! It saddens me that in 2016, anybody has to be chastised, isolated, violated because of the color of their skin! read more
