Still my go to Ross! It can get busy in here so come early if you want to avoid the lines. I usually end up finding something. They're pretty well stocked compared to other stores. I don't love the new store layout. Particularly with the dresses - high and low racks! Even some of the tops in the Junior's section are a bit high up. This was one of the two last places I visited while at this mall. It just felt awkward to exit the mall and reenter the mall to visit here. Instead, I exited the mall and drove around to park near here. This is one of the more packed stores I have been in. Most Ross's, as of late, weren't very filled with merchandise. This one had a lot of items and it made for a great shopping experience. I browsed and made my way through the aisles that I knew I wanted to search in and happened to find a few extra finds here and there. My main objective here was to find some shower rings and a salt and pepper shaker. Which I accomplished and was pleasantly surprised that I wasn't wasting an arm and leg on the price. Interesting thing about this location is that they have an Amazon pick up zone. A bit odd, but also a bit on point to draw customers in. read more

Yikes! I love a good discount store, and Ross is it. Located on the opposite side of PG Plaza, parking is plentiful and the store is fairly large. That being said, I don't think I have ever gone into a Ross that WAS NOT trashed and this one is no different. The store was completely trashed with items everywhere. There is a plethora of clothes, but the racks are soooo close that there is barely any room for you to walk around. When it was time to check out, the line was where the fitting rooms are (the back of the store) If you can get past these things, and you pack your patience, you will find some gems. They have a very large women's section to include one of the largest maternity sections I have found. The children's section is nice too, pick around and I'm sure you'll find something's that you like. read more

Whatever you need in the area of affordable clothing, bedding, home decor or kitchen, items I highly recommend you take your money somewhere else. Surprisingly, this is one of the cleaner and more organized Ross stores I've encountered in the DC area. The variety of shoes, apparel and housewares offered is excellent. The shelves are jam packed with an impressive variety of items. They also have a considerable selection of wheeled drop bottom duffle bags from 20" to 35". These kinds of bags are a staple for a frequent traveler like me. I'm rough on luggage. Correction: the airlines are rough on my luggage. Unfortunately, they don't offer much more in terms of travel accessories (with the exception of neck pillows... lots and lots of neck pillows). Oh well. Displays are generally neat and uncluttered. Aisles are clear and free of discarded/fallen items, trash, and other debris. This store's fatal flaw is the impossibly long checkout lines. No matter when I go -day or night, weekday or weekend- the lines are always so long and they never seem to have enough cashiers working. They have at least a dozen registers but at any given time no more than three or four of them are actually staffed. I'd be really curious to learn how much that costs this store in sales; people who have walked out of line because they felt like the wait wasn't worth it. The other complaint I have is about the fitting rooms. At some point, somebody's child (dear God, I hope it was a child) mistook it for the restroom and the fitting rooms in the left corner reek of old pee. What's even more gross is the fact that no store employees saw fit to grab some Lysol and spray those fitting rooms down to get rid of the smell. I guess that would be too much to ask. read more

Another unfortunate example of how certain retailers neglect stores serving Black and Brown communities. Much worse than the Marshalls next door, this Ross boasts overpacked shelves (making it hard to shop) and ridiculously long checkout lines--always. They used to have a separate return line. On top of that, you get the customer who thinks their time is more important than everyone else's time, and tries to jump in line. This Spanish manager here is the worst. She is very racist and disrespectful. Today is 8/13/2022 10.52pm. The manager on duty told me I had to clean up the aisle because I tried on too many clothes. I did not say a word to her. When I went to check out she put all the clothes I did not need aggressively in my cart. I took it out and she told them not to ring me up. For what. I came here and picked out over $100 worth of clothing and items and went to the changing room to try a few things on. When I came back not even 5 mins later, someone had taken my entire basket. With my purse inside! When I asked security to help find it, he used his mic to say has anyone seen a cart. Then said sorry can't help further. Asked 3 workers who didn't care to help at all. I've had a pleasant shopping at Ross every time I decide to visit. That's my go to place whenever I need something, then I hit other stores if I don't find anything there. Clothes, shoes, kitchen and furniture ... you name it Ross is my place!! Price is unbeatable and service is ok until today ... HA! The lady at the fitting room area was so disrespectful and rude to me, my nephew (who was actually in leg brace) and almost every other person that approached her. I am very sorry but that kind of disrespect takes all the fun out of the shopping experience. Especially if you're rude to kids and pregnant customers, that's just another level of low. I was recently inducted into the Ross Fan Club via my friend and a soon-to-be Yelper. She claimed it was cheaper than Target but carried many of the same items. Being one of the biggest Target devotees, I was hesitant to accept this claim as truth but was willing to give Ross a shot. We entered the store with a list of items we needed to find but we were immediately distracted by conveniently located racks of discounted canvas paintings, clocks, shower organizers, bed sheets, waste baskets, laundry baskets, pillows headphones, HDMI cables, and all other things that would attract 20-somethings to pull out their wallets. Suddenly our list was nonexistent and we were stuffing all sorts of random, seemingly displaced items into a shopping cart. We made our way throughout the store, adding to our cart bath towels, a poster, margarita glasses, another pillow, a cute pink shelf, a throw blanket, and a few other things that I can't remember because of the influx of emotions running through my head during my first Ross experience. Everything was discounted amazingly and we walked away with a bunch of steals. Surprisingly, Ross is my cup of tea (I prefer coffee but tea is fine). read more

Shopping here is traumatic. It has to be the most stressful shopping experience on this here earth. It perpetually looks like a tornado tore through it and I'm not sure if it is the store's fault or the fault of the Neanderthals that wreck a shop like that. People bring their battalion of children and let them run amok. STRESS INNA MI CHEST!! The staff is rude and really don't care. A lot of them are phoning it in. The nail in the coffin is the checkout line. It runs to the very back of the store with only 2 cashiers at any given time. You can legit die in that line.Yes the items are cheap but I would rather go to goodwill and hold on to my sanity. It is all so overwhelming and not in a good way. The guy at the fitting rooms was really nice, and they gave me ten percent off because a button was missing on a dress (that I will just wear a cami underneath). This store is a significant size, lots of things and well organized. The quality of the merchandise is questionable though. Fabric on most clothes is thin and dull. Good selection of households though. Found good linens. Reasonable comforter sets. Staff was friendly. Lines are long but move fast. Last time their system was down so they could not do card transactions. Only cash for purchases and store credit for returns. read more

This store is a hit or miss depending on the day of the week. During the week there's a better selection of items. I visit all sections of the store but mainly focus on the home goods and the dresses. They have affordable work dress, skirts, and shirts. The home good section is pretty good too. This is a somewhat ghetto Ross - clothes, shoes, toys are sometimes strewn all over the place, and the lines are really long. Marshall's next door has higher prices, but for a few dollars more you return to civilization and don't have to wait in line. read more

I view Ross and Marshalls as being similar stores. And while one would think that they're competitors, you usually find them next door to each other. Ross cant really compete with Marshalls, but that isn't to say it is a bad store, just a much smaller selection. They really do well with the small selection though, because it seems like if you get 85% of the things you need at the other store, the other 15% you couldn't find is almost always going to be in here. So I suppose it is a match. Major areas to always check out here include the home section where coffee, tea, and kitchen items are, as well as men's shirts and ties, and the cologne/perfume section. Not the best Ross I've been to, but worth returning to. Only thing I didn't care for was the loss prevention guy. I didn't appreciate him staring at me from the time I entered the store, changing positions to see me browse the cologne section, eyeing me in line, etc. Everytime I looked up to see where my girlfriend was, there was the loss prevention guy making eye contact with me and giving me this odd look. I respect loss prevention, but I'm not your threat. Lol I actually work in law enforcement. Perhaps his profiling sucks but there were some teenagers who probably should have drawn his suspicion. Like all Ross stores, this is a hit or miss depending on the week. I always go in with the mind frame that if I find something it would be a score, but if not, it's no big deal because it's ross. This particular location has a decent home goods section. The lines are always long. However, most of the staff are your average friendly cashier when checking out. It's a dump. It is absolutely the most disorganized place you could ever shop. The customer service is dismal. I hate to use the word "ghetto," but if the shoe (or blouse or belt, or whatever fits...") You probably won't find it here. It may be among the merchandise--on the floor crunched up between the racks, in a section not close to its size--or some family of five came in and used it to sit on the little bit of furniture in housewares and eat their fast food. There are better Ross stores. This isn't one of them. Heck, even the Marshall's next door was better and the TJMaxx I'm the same mall is leagues better. read more

This is a potentially good store but their customer service sucks more than 100%. I brought 4 items today and they only put two items in the bag. I called them (off course!) because I live far from this store. I had all the information even the item numbers and the receipt. I initially spoke with the over all manager (they said) then passed me over to another manager. I told them what the issue was, and they basically wanted me to go to the store to determine whether or not I can give my money back. I asked them if they could provide other assistance like sending me the items or at least a get my money back. But instead of providing a favorable customer service, the secondary manager (Mariah), who has a very nasty attitude told me that I am just wasting her time coz we were just going in circles. It's not about the money that I wasted, it is actually about how can you give an excellent customer service. But store branch clearly made me not to trust them at all. I will definitely NOT recommencd this store to other people for the very reason that customer service sucks and you will have to wait for a very long time like 30 minuste or an hour just to buy an item. There were only two registers open! They even made the customer service area as a counter. This really sucks! read more

I've ran into the most horrendous customer service while shopping at this Ross. Extremely disappointed in the amount of negativity the employees showcase at this location. The employees are disgruntled and disgustingly rude. If you want to be talked down to in a foreign language while you are shopping by all means shop here! If you want to be treated nicely with respect and you want to experience excellent or even slightly good customer service don't even bother, don't even walk, run away from this place. I gave this place 3 separate chances, 3 times it failed. The employees are disgruntled and ready to eat you and s*** you out in their native language. Seriously the most rude, disgusting, and uncivilized "customer service" I've experienced in my life. For a few more bucks the store next door has "better" customer service because they don't berate their customers and interrupt you while you are shopping. read more
