I was sorry to see the old management go and learn they had fired all personnel, but I also understand that they had a different business plan, and sometimes this sort of thing is needed to make a fresh start with new policies. I've mostly been happy when consigning although sometimes the low price they place on a Pendleton or Clarks item I've consigned blows my mind and I try not to get upset. I've mostly been pretty satisfied with the amount of items they accept from me to consign (I'd say they accept at least 80% of what I've brought in), but the last time, I brought in over 30 items, most new but without tags, and they didn't accept one single item! One has to consider their current stock and think maybe they already have something like you brought in, and they didn't take? But I was bummed as I am an old lady and had to schlepp my stuff to my car from my apartment and then into the store, and then the reverse. I'm sorry to hear of the many complaints about employee attitudes here. That has not been my experience in the least! I'm always asked if I need assistance and they scramble to help me find things that are going past their consign-by date (when they would ordinarily go on sale or get donated), when I want to rescue something from them that I've consigned. I DO like to shop the discounted items in each section and appreciate how they put them on the end of each section, so I can walk down the main aisle and peruse them. These items (priced according to the current % off color that hangs from the ceiling) used to be sprinkled throughout the store and not kept together in each section, so for us bargain shoppers, this is a fantastic way to shop!

Even the first customer kept telling them no when they couldn't figure it out because she wanted to leave too. I asked that the employee put the items on hold and I'd be back. She had my name from waiting to purchase with my card and yet when I came back not only had everything been put back but the prices had changed and half of the items I had selected had been sold. Suddenly I was paying 3x the amount I would have, for fewer items overall. I honestly get better service online and yet they've lost my business.

I finally had it with their attitudes and I told them I would be sending a bad review and letting someone know about the horrible rude service I was receiving and they stopped complaining. The manager started by sighing loudly and in a loud voice complain she was trying to take her break when she was asked to help me by an associate. After I told them I would be complaining about them, they changed the tone and instead of complaining to started talking to me like I was stupid... talking to me slowly and loudly. I asked Kris to not speak to me like that and she just laughed. Manager said "make sure you tell them we gave you a discount we didn't have to". Again, rudely. And also told me I didn't know what kind of day she'd had. (So she takes it out on me -the customer???) At this point it wasn't about the discount, it was about the horrible customer service I received in front of all other customers.
