We scheduled a replacement, waited for them to show up, and when the technicians finally arrived... they didn't even bring all the necessary parts to assemble it. Instead of taking responsibility and fixing their mistake right away, they told us it's going to take an entire month just to come back with the missing parts. So now we're left sitting with a half-assembled, unusable bed frame taking up space in our bedroom for four weeks because of their incompetence. No urgency, no customer care, and cheap furniture. However, when…read moremy contractor went to get the tile and grout that we ordered, they gave them the wrong grout color. I was so upset. My contractor's people already laid down the grout and Floor and Decor wouldn't pay for the labor to redo the grout. Instead they gave us a seal with the correct color to try to make it right. However when my contractor's people put it down, it just didn't have the same effect as grout. Because we couldn't afford the labor for them to redo the grout, we just have to live with the discoloration of the grout. On top of that, the tile that we chose had odd pieces to them that looked stained. You really don't know what things would look like until you purchase it. And of course I wasn't home to supervise their work, because I had a job to go to pay for all the work that didn't turn out the way I expected. Needless to say, I suggest you go to Lowe's or Home Depot for tiles because they actually are a little bit more affordable. Floor and Decor as actually expensive.

More Than Just A Frame…read more Went to Hobby Lobby looking for a picture frame for a short poem that means a great deal to me. I quickly became puzzled over the frame color, size, and whether to use a mat or not. Thankfully, Kim came to the rescue. She was patient, thoughtful, and walked through several options with me without ever making me feel rushed. With her wonderful eye and expertise, we found a frame that fit perfectly, and adding the mat made the poem look so dimensional and lovely. It truly brought the piece to life. I also didn't realize they do custom framing, and that really fills a gap left when our local art store was lost during Covid. It is comforting to know there is still a place where people genuinely care about helping you create something meaningful and beautiful. Initially it had smaller items in terms of beauty, food, and home goods, but recently they've begun to offer things like a proper Korean BBQ charcoal grill table for the home. Staff have always been polite and friendly whenever I've stopped in to wander around. Yesterday I was interested in the face masks they sell individually and a set of gel nail stickers with unique artwork on them. The girl who helped me shared that she used the masks and had no issues with them reacting badly to her skin. I picked up one mask and the nail stickers and noticed they had a promotion going on where if you follow their Instagram, they let you spin the wheel for a free prize.
