If i could would give -0 The ladies that work here are unfriendly, unprofessional and rude. If you ask them something they look bothered, me and my partner made the self check out line with more then 10 items by mistake and after you pay and put everything in bags they will take everything out and check item by item the lady working looked at our receipt said to many items next time go to reg check out. We a apologized as she hands me my receipt and i stayed there looking at her while she talked to another cashier and when she asked me for my receipt to check the items she snatched it out of my hand so hard i got a paper cut..i proceeded to get my receipt out of her hand and told her she did not have to snatch the receipt out of my hand in that way. On top of all that i had to wait in the regular line for another cashier to check all my items out. super unprofessional and rude to all customers she was even rude to the people that were ahead of us..never again. After you wait in line to pay for your merchandise you still have to wait in another line to have the security devices removed from your purchases. There are 4 self checkout stations but only one person is removing security devices. It's just as fast to go through a traditional cashier line and have them scan your purchases and remove security devices all at once. read more

This is the second time I go to this Ross and I get treated with utter disrespect. The first time it happened it was at the register, and she rang me up quickly and didn't even care to say hello, and was very rude and very fast to pack my stuff. The second time it was at self check out and the lady at the register while she needs to check your stuff for sensors tells me that she was going to void all of my stuff because I took three more items when it should be 10 and below. She made me feel really bad for what I did and it really ruined my entire experience there. I actually wanted to return everything immediately, but I had all this stuff for my family for Christmas. By the looks of it I don't think I will be going back any time soon. I actually like this Ross and the items that they have but the staff completely ruins my experience and makes me write surveys like this. I found some pretty good stuff from Calvin Klein in the clearance area and thought they were amazing but once again, I don't think I am coming back at all. This location of Ross was Organized taking in consideration that Christmas was only two days away. The line was long but not too much. They had two ladies working on the regular cash register and two in the customer service ones.The merchandise looked great as usual and their prices were affordable. The restrooms were not ok and parking lot is terrible, with tight spaces, but these is not their fault of course. If you're lucky finding your size and have a good eye for quality clothing this is the place if you have a small budget. Yeah, it's hard to find stuff and the fitting rooms are not pretty AND the service is nonexitent, but hey, you get what you pay for. This Ross is better than the others I've visited and if you go early on workdays the crowds are small and the lines are short. Can't beat that! read more

To begin with, I never like Ross...I hate how everything is above eye-level...which makes searching for good deals even harder. But my girlfriend was like...'give them a chance' So here it goes: I found two dresses and wanted to try them on with these pair of sexy nine-wests..and the woman at the fitting rooms says it is against store policy to bring shoes into the fitting room and I explained politely that I want to see it as a full outfit...and the woman goes "it is store policy and i ain't going to break the rules for you" Excuse moi?!!?!?!? And then when it was time for them to close...the 3 cashiers were slower than tortoises! So I was browsing through the racks since I was going to be last in line anyway...and the line moved like 1 person every 5 minutes..a saleswoman goes "the store is closed!" I was so tempting to rip all the dresses from the hangers right there and then. The only thing that redeemed the store were the clothes I bought...and the price I bought them for. This store is a nightmare. Managers not efficacy's or experienced in Customer Services. Store dirty always and not properly staffed in the gold jewellery Dept. Basically no one gives a s#it if the customers happy. Example: I went in to buy gold jewelry with a budget of $300USD. INSTEAD OF SERVICING THE CUSTOMER, they were using the cashier in Jewelry for customers shopping for store merchandise. After waiting over 15 minutes I spoke to the cashier and she said she couldn't help me. She then called someone who could. It took that salesperson 10 minutes to find the keys to show the gold jewelry. Ten minutes of a key misplaced. I then had them call the Manager who has no prior experience in Mgmt. I told her loud enough so all could hear that apparently customer service was not in their Mission statements and that they just lost a $300 sale as I would rather spend my money anywhere other than there. On Monday 06/21/2021 I went shopping to Ross located in 8605 S Dixie Hwy Miami FL 33143 with my husband and we also had to return a pair of sneakers that were too big for my husband, we did return them and were going to pay for the new ones in customer service when a blonde girl loss prevention officer intervened and told the customer service agent not to do it, she was rude to us and said too many insulting and impolite comments and got into an argument with my husband who was trying to explain that I was a disable old woman, had surgery in one foot and could not stand or walk for a long period of time, and also that the customer service counter had a big DISABLE SIGN POSTED, she ignored all of this and continued harassing me. I find this unacceptable because she is LOSS PREVENTION OFFICER not a customer service agent and they are supposed to HELP DISABLE PEOPLE NOT HARASS THEM. this employee needs more training and better customer service read more

I'm going to give reviewing stores a try, as well, and where better to start than Ross... I'm pretty sure it's a south florida thing, but the staff at Ross has no care in the world when it comes to costumer assistance. Consistently, the line is half way through the store - no matter when I go. I usually browse a little, hoping the line will go down, then end up stashing my stuff at the nearest table and leaving in a fury because the line only gets longer...with carts FULL of stuff that inevitably they will only get half of for one reason or another. The shoe deparment looked like a ghost town. The clothes was alright; nothing really that warranted a second look. They had very limited holiday items and apparently forgot that Halloween and Thanksgiving come before Christmas. There were mainly Christmas items on display. The parking was horrible; not really many parking spaces given that it shares the parking with DSW (maybe that's where all the shoes went). I am at the Coral Way Ross in Miami. It's 2:45 pm, Friday. I've been in line 12 minutes. Still have at least 30 people in front of me. The line circles and curl les, then spills on the store between racks, all the way to the end. The store has 12 registers. Three are opened. Why? What kind of disrespect is this to customers who are paying, no free merchandise is being handed out. I asked to see the Manager about 5 minutes ago. Still waiting for her This happens because there is no leadership and no supervision. The Manager stays locked up in her office while the customers wait and wait because this Manager knows there is no consequence to his/her abuse. Shameful. Skip this store. Go to the one on 107th. I enjoy shopping at this Ross because of their variety in higher end items. I have been able to find a lot of modern home items that you could find at west elm and such for a fraction of the cost. The customer service is much better than any of the other Ross I have been too. Their is plenty of parking and not in a huge crazy parking space like others. read more

I give up, wave the white flag,(missing its pole), acquiesce, admit defeat, (can usually only find one shoe anyway,) call in the troops, scratch it off the map... I'm talking about ROSS Stores of course!, The one I usually patronize is on US1 in So. Miami but they only go down from there...and the one in Westchester still produces night sweats. Ross is a perpetual cluster f*ck with restrooms that have been out-of-order since the Pleistocene era, two piece outfits with only one piece present and going to the front desk,(and waiting in line to ask) if someone can help you find the other piece, brings no one. EVAR!..nor will they discount the 'one present piece' as the other piece 'may' show up. Yeah! Used diapers under the racks, always a pleasant find, a frying pan that I picked up once that still had remnants of someones egg before they returned the pan, and check-out lines that extend to the back of the store that you will be guaranteed to become old and gray while waiting on...and I will viciously attrack anyone that tries to drag me in there again! . I just don't know how it manages to be so perpetually bad! TJ Maxx doesn't seem to have those problems and the closest Marshall's in Palmetto Bay is usually neat and clean. Dunno if would pass the white-glove test as I've not worn white gloves since the Easter Parade in NYC maannny moons ago but it 'seems' clean Couple that with carts suitable for midget Pigmys and that )+?&$%) pole extending up preventing you from taking the cart to your car. Okay, I get that they don't want their carts to become pine(metal)derby vehicles for 'enterprising' area children but when I asked if I could take a couple bags out to my car while the security guard kept an eye on the rest of it, I was told, no!..., he could NOT as he was busy doing loss prevention. As long as I've been going in there, I have never seen one loss prevention "specialist" even move 3 inches from the door. They just stand there watching their cells! I avoided this Ross for awhile during my South Dade days. Upon entering you swear a hurricane went through. I kid you not. Every trip to this store, it is pretty much a mess. Weird vibes, clothes, purses on the floor....just name it. On top of that parking on the ground floor is a nightmare. The last couple of trips I parked on the roof. The store looks like the Cloverfeild monster came through and knocked everything off the racks before I went inside. Its just so damn cheap its hard not to go here every now and then. AWFUL! Worst clothing store EVER! Purses strewn on the floor, kitchen and housewares as well. I remember tripping over some pots on the floor when I was trying to walk and answer my phone at the same time. Some of the clothes on the racks looked like they had been worn before, they had fuzz balls as if they had been washed and tears. I am sorry, but all of this is unacceptable. It was in the beginning of October so no holidays, and no excuses for their laziness. The tripping part was the last straw. I have no patience for filth or pigs, and this store had both. I had to get out of there before I ended up screaming. Also, a friend of mine had her car broken into while shopping at DSW, which is next door. Yes its cluttered and messy and unorganized but we do realize that it is a cheap store that sells left over merchandise at a cheap cost and you can find a variety of products there without breaking the bank. Especially mirrors and cookware, which at normal stores would cost you an arm and a leg. I came to return about 5 pieces of clothing- all with tags- and had 2 receipts. I waited a while for one customer being attended ahead of me, not a big deal. What bothered me was when it was my turn, this older employee , Mike, jumped in front of the gentleman who was initially going to help me because he said I had too many receipts and was holding up the line of 5 people behind me- I turned around and there was only ONE person waiting behind me. When I told him not to be rude and that I patiently waited my turn, he told me I wasn't waiting. For everything I said, he was talking back to me and being very mean and rude. I'm 9 months pregnant and having to deal with a person like this (pregnant or not) is unacceptable. Mike should not be dealing with people because he has zero customer service skills and lacks professionalism. Overall the store was not organized, pijama sizes are all mixed up. Very dusty store. The maternity sign that hangs on the ceiling is not placed properly, it took me a while to find the maternity section which was rows away from the actual sign, thanks. Inaddition, i had a totally awesome experience for several reasons i especially liked their prices , interior is clean and tidy and their staff is always kind, friendly and polite : ). Moreover, the items that i purchase are a few t shirts, a few dresses etc. : ). Also, i wanted to select some shoes for myself . I like shoes. Although i have a pretty large collection, i can always go crazy for shoes : ). I have them in several colors and i especially luv the ultra tall ones they are my favorite ones : ). One of my personal favorite Ross locations in Miami. Not thrilled how they organize their dresses by size, it has no order really but always find great dresses for work for great prices. As an associate who used to work for ROSS. 1. Customers think the associates are maids the reason ROSS is so messy is bc ppl feel the need to throw all the merchandise that they do not want on the floor. Customers pick up ur shit. 2. Ppl always complain that are women's bathroom is disgusting Well, women, maybe if you could clean up the shit that your children left in the sink, then the bathrooms wouldny look so disgusting. Bottom line, associates get paid $7.25/hr. Assistant managers get paid under $14/hr. So why the would I pick up every damn thing a customer throws on the floor that they think associates dont see? read more
