This location sits back off Rivers Ave. so you can't see the store from road; in the Target shopping center. Store merchandise could have used a little straightening. Mostly clothes, socks and shoes with some home, bath and kitchen items. They also have some travel items, but don't expect super deals on luggage. Not a huge selection of other items. The negative for me is the store is super clothing heavy, but lacking in other items. Wish they would focus more on their non-clothing merchandise. read more

I visited this location yesterday and had a disappointing experience. The stafmembers at the register were dismissive and unprofessional. When I walked up to the register I was met with attitude, eye-rolling and a dismissive attitude because hangers were not taken off clothing. Management needs to require customer service standards when hiring these uneducated disturbing applicants. read more

I'm confused and frustrated by the bag-checking policy at this Ross location. There isn't a set checkout, yet security checks bags after you're rung up by the short manager. If a manager is handling the register, why isn't that enough? It makes it seem like management can't be trusted to handle transactions properly, which is concerning. read more

Horrible customer service! This location is always messy and the employees are not pleasant. They lost power and could not take any form of payment with the customer exception of cash . They then refused to hold items until the next day . I asked for an exception due to the circumstances that were out of my control and I was still told no . When I called to speak to a manager I was hung up on . I called back and asked for the corporate number and was told that I would have to call the store manager tomorrow named Sandy because no one knows the number. Not to mention the assistant manager yells while I'm on the phone , she wants to complain while I'm on hold . PEOPLE BEWARE! I have to put out a WARNING to future Ross customers. Ross retains your PERSONAL IDENTIFYING INFORMATION in their computer system when you return items purchased from their store, regardless of the location. This is an identity theft risk and compromising issue waiting to happen. Most people don't realize it could cost you tens of thousands of dollars to fix and could permanently damage your finances. I purchased 5 dresses for a funeral. The store would not allow customers in the changing rooms to try on their potential purchases. Customers had to purchase clothes and return to the store, the clothes that didn't fit... all due to COVID. Tell me how that makes any sense. Instead of containing items in the store, potentially infected people had to take them home to their infected house, saturate them with germs, and return them to the store for unsuspecting customers to take them back to a new house to infect and try on. No logic. When I made the purchase I asked the sales clerk to confirm they could be returned. I returned back to the same store with my original receipt and I was told I could not return the items without allowing Ross to COPY AND STORE MY PERSONALLY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION IN THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM. Make no mistake, this was not just to present an ID to verify credit card information... TO STORE IT!! Who knows what level of security was used to protect that information or what it was used for. For what it is, Ross is a good option. You come here for random picture frames or wall art. You come here for a cheap dress for some occasion you are forced to attend. Is it the cleanest, most organized store you've ever been to? Absolutely not. But does it have a lot of crap for you to look at or buy without spending over $30? Yes, yes it does. read more

Wow- what a cluster. While upon entering, the store looks fairly empty, it is so crowded and messy. Everything on the shelves is just a disaster, the clothes are hanging all over the place (not neatly on the rack, just hanging on other clothes, hanging off end of racks, on the floor, etc). It was hard to tell where anything was. The signs hanging aren't really in the appropriate areas and things you would find together were on opposite sides of the store. I probably won't be back to this location unless someone finds something very specific I am looking for and tells me about it. read more

I've tried to go in twice in the past year and was asked to leave at the door both times because I had a water with me. I drove to the Ross near the Citadel mall where they let me bring water inside instead. I don't understand why the security here is so concerned about being able to hydrate while shopping. read more

Ross Dress for Less has awesome clothes at really good prices. I really like their ties and belts selection, but if you search you can find some really good hidden deals. Very helpful staff that keeps the checkout line moving when you are ready to get out of there. Overall awesome store. read more

I ran in here on a mission - I needed a bin for all of my cat's toys. While I found what I was after (sort of), I don't think I will be returning to this location anytime soon. The store seemed dirty and unorganized. I noticed a TON of empty shelves and a lot of random clutter on the shelves that did house items. I will say my cashier was very friendly, but the associate I asked for help to locate said cat bin was very rude and could not understand that I just wanted (essentially) a basket for holding crap. She insisted they must not carry such a thing, and then I went one aisle over and found them. Go to TJMaxx. It's a little farther depending on where you live, but it's always worth it. read more

The thing I like about Ross is also the thing I hate about Ross; the inventory is constantly changing, and you just don't know what you're gonna find. I like that, but I also hate the fact that I can never really find anything because it just doesn't seem like there is any order to the store. I find the aisles (if there really are aisles) to be difficult to pass through, and I get frustrated easily while shopping here. My final complaint is that I can never seem to get through checkout rapidly. All-in-all, I just don't know how I feel about Ross - any of them - so I assign three stars for ambiguity. read more
