Everything about this experience was bad. It started with an employee giving me dirty looks as I walk in. I think they were part of the loss prevention team but I do not know. I start to walk around the store and an alarm on one of the shoes starts to go off. No one, at all, goes over to check it out. This includes the man who stared me down walking in. I continue to walk around. I find some sunglasses and pet supplies I like. I am slowly browsing when a lost child starts screaming in the middle of the store. No one goes to comfort the child or help them find their adult. The child who is about 4 years old is just screaming in the middle of the store looking for their adult. I am beyond ready to leave at this point. I walk up to purchase my items and the line is 5 people back OUTSIDE the twisty line space they have. The line was 12-15 people deep. With 2 people checking out customers. If they are low on people I understand the checkout but none of the rest of it. I look at the line. I put my stuff down and walk out. This shopping experience was very stressful and unpleasant. read more

About a year ago, Burlington replaced Sears as an anchor store in the mall. Until then, I hadn't been inside a Burlington store in years, and the jingle from the 1990s commercial is still stuck in my head (Burlington Coat Factory- We're more than great coats). Burlington seems like a more organized version of a TJ Maxx or Marshall's, with a better selection of kid's items. They also have a good selection of home items at very competitive prices, and they have clearance sections. Since it's back to school time, a lot of summer items were on clearance and a lot of kids school uniform items were on display. You can enter from the mall entrance or from the parking lot, and checkouts are at both entrances. read more

Burlington always offers great stuff for a low price. Anything you are looking for they have. Whether it's shoes, clothes, baby supplies, home accessories, etc. they have it all. This store has changed since the pandemic though. You used to could walk into Burlington through the mall but they have that part closed now. You can only enter through their doors in the front. It's been super busy lately so make sure you have enough time. The last time I visited, my friend and I waited in line for an hour. But we couldn't pass up their great selection of winter boots. Plus it's shopping so how could you be mad. Also please be patient with the staff. They are very nice and only doing their jobs. They didn't ask for all of Charleston to come in at the same time. read more

Burlington is ok. It's one of the nicer ones I've been to but this store is very new so that could have something to do with it. The store is bright and the aisles are wide...you don't have to squeeze by people walk down one. It's very organized and neat. They have plenty of clothes in the women's department--I didn't get close enough to check out the quality though. The men's clothing department is much smaller. They have an ok selection of costume jewelry. The shoe department needs major work. The kitchen and household sections are the best but still not great. read more

Why have business hours posted in you're not going to keep them. I've worked a long day and needed some items. I looked up the hours before I came and it wasn't even 830 pm yet and they had someone gaurding the door and only the exit doors was functioning. The posted time online and even on the door says 9 for closing. Makes the store seem like an unprofessional hood store instead of a store at a mall. Several people after me met the same fate as I sat and watched while writing this review. They turned away a lot of business in the 7 minutes I took to write this read more

I really like this Burlington location. They have really good prices and selection on a wide range of clothes and other goods. The location inside Northwoods Mall is also really convenient. Awesome store overall. They are always bringing in fresh new clothes and I am happy with the quality and selection. read more

Burlington Coat Factory was having a 50% off blowout sale when I arrived. 85% of the store was sold out getting ready for new inventory. Wonderful Kenneth Cole designer suits for $140 for both the blazer and pants. I was able to get tons of dresses for $10 each for my daughter and a coat and a hoodie for my son spending no more than $50 for everything. Burlington Coat Factory is one of my favorite places to go because they have really good brand names at a decent price. read more

I had taken my daughter on a little shopping spree and found everything that she just absolutely loved. Went to check out the line with scanning completely across the store. Two sections of registers, but only one open. I had to pick up the another child after school and asked if I could just leave my cart since the line was long and not moving fast at all. I said I would be no longer than 30 minutes. They would not allow me to leave my cart and claiming they can't hold items. Any other store would've let you put that at their customer service while I ran home, but not this one. I was not the only unhappy customer about that fact. As I was leaving my cart full of items with the manager, the lady walked past and said she done the same thing because she had to be at the school pick up line and could not wait for the lengthy, slow moving line that had appeared out of nowhere. This location is usually in disarray and was worse yesterday. It looks like someone just came through and ransacked and they didn't even bother to tidy. Rather disappointing that my daughter had to walk away from all of the things that she had picked out because they couldn't hold in the cart for 30 minutes read more
