Of all the Belk stores in the Charleston area, this is my least favorite. The clothing racks by the…read moremall entrance are well kept and stocked, but once you go into the store, it's another story. The racks are cluttered and hard to find what you need, and the dressing rooms are full of discarded clothes. The home section seems smaller than the other stores. The Belk in Mt. Pleasant carries more upscale brands, and the Citadel Mall store is tidier. On the plus side, you can now order online and pick up in store if you don't need to try on, and the Belk website lets you know if items are available in store.

When I reached out to Brumate they could not help and told me to reach back out to Palmetto Moon. I reached Lindsey Holmes and she got ahold of her supervisor and got approval to send me a label to ship the flawed cup back at no charge and then shipped me out a new cup . She stayed in touch with me the entire time and I received my new Cup today and it's absolutely perfect . Because of Lindsey I will be shopping with this company again and I'm very excited too.

I start to walk around the store and an alarm on one of the shoes starts to go off. No one, at all, goes over to check it out. This includes the man who stared me down walking in. I continue to walk around. I find some sunglasses and pet supplies I like. I am slowly browsing when a lost child starts screaming in the middle of the store. No one goes to comfort the child or help them find their adult. The child who is about 4 years old is just screaming in the middle of the store looking for their adult. I am beyond ready to leave at this point. I walk up to purchase my items and the line is 5 people back OUTSIDE the twisty line space they have. The line was 12-15 people deep. With 2 people checking out customers. If they are low on people I understand the checkout but none of the rest of it. I look at the line. I put my stuff down and walk out. I spoke with Joan a couple of times and she took the time to describe what items she likes to buy from people. The atmosphere is fun with tons of good music playing. Saturday was real fun with lots of folks shopping, but even with several folks shopping people are chill. This isn't Goodwill and you aren't going to find boring pieces here. You'll pay a bit more but it's value buys that will lead to good looks. Charleston is very lucky to have Joan and Exchange Factor.
