I want to comment on my most recent experience this holidays season of 2023. I came in on a Tuesday night for last minute shopping. I checked the store hours and seen on Yelp that they close @10pm. To my surprise, they actually close at midnight. The lovely cashier informed me as I casually made conversation when I was paying for my stuff. She informed me that that stay open late for the holidays and go back to normal hours after. She was very warm and kind to me and she took great care of my purchase made. The selection available at this location is like at any other. Sometimes there is good stuff and sometimes there is barely anything. I think you have to be a proactive ROSS shopper to know the best deals and days to come. The only one I know of is because of my mom, she's a senior and makes it a point to go to her local Ross on Tuesday because of Ross Senior Discount Tuesdays - Ross is a discount retailer that provides people 55+ years with a 10 percent discount on Tuesdays. I LOVE ROSS for all my household and clothing needs. I always find the best shoes, boots, work clothes & shoes, purses, toys for kids and toddles, clothes for babies, etc. I also find great deals on gifts for all occasions. Anything from baby showers to weddings, literally any event! You can find something here and at a great price! This location is great ! Keep up the great work everyone ! read more

There are never any complaints about Ross unless it's the employees and this location has two blonde white ladies who are very rude to their customers and rush them and have attitude when going to pay. I understand the need of trying to clear out the line, but if you're going to be working with customers, you could have a better attitude.. please work on your employees because that was actually unacceptable and you have the nastiest attitude people working here. read more

This Ross is located in the same shopping complex as Target, etc so there's a big open parking lot. They do have some parking spots right in front. Before entering the store, there's a sign that says, "Face coverings are required to enter this store." When you enter the store, the security greets you with a nod, as he's wearing a face mask so it's difficult to tell if he's smiling, but from his demeanor I'm sure he was. There's social distancing signs near the entrance with a thing of disinfecting wipes right in front of it (the signs says, "Wipe away germs. Please wipe down cart handles to prevent spreading germs. Sanitizing wipes provided for your convenience. Please dispose of wipes in the trash after use." "Your health is important to us. Here are some of the things Ross is doing to keep our community safe: - Cleaning and sanitizing - Providing daily health checks for our associates - Requiring all Ross customers to wear face coverings for everyone's safety - Providing plexiglass shields at registers - Providing contactless payment options - Requiring associates to wear personal protective equipment - Encouraging social distancing. Do your part, stay 6 feet apart - Providing disinfectant wipes - Limiting the amount of customers in stores - Adjusting operating hours to allow for additional cleaning" The women's shoes were directly to the right. I was worried that there wouldn't be much to choose from. When I saw the racks, I thought it was a little bare. All of the styles are mixed together by shoe size. While waiting in line, on both sides there were lots of hand sanitizers and some face masks for sale. And there were signs all over to social distance. The lady at the register was indeed behind a plexiglass and she was wearing a face mask. She was friendly and patient. Overall, all of the staff we interacted with were friendly. read more

I'm big on customer service. So the lady who was ringing up my items was chatty about personal stuff with the other cashier. I also noticed that she was placing most of the items in the same bag, and some of the items were fragile and should have been packed separately and wrapped. I paid for my items, she then handed me one bag that had a few items, and then she handed me the other bag with the rest of the items, which included the unwrapped fragile items. As she handed me the 2nd bag, I said, "Oh, you placed everything in one bag?" The look she gave me was crazy and she shrugged her shoulders. So I placed the bag in the basket. The basket has a pole attached to it, and I asked her if there is a way that I can take the basket out because I'm parked across the parking lot. With a nasty tone, this $%=^& said to me there's a pole on the basket, as if I didn't see it and I'm stupid. So I asked her, is there a store manager available? She said that she is the manager. I was shocked. So I said to her this is how you talk to your customers and you think it's okay. She said you asked a question, and I answered it. I told her it's the way that you are talking to me, which is not acceptable, and I told her that she is being nasty. She then she asked me how she was rude, in a very loud tone. I told her I wanted to return my item and handed her me receipt. While she is processing my return/post void, she was talking sh!t and I told her I'm not doing this with you, and this is why a lot of stores are closing. She is still talking sh!t. She handed me my original receipt back and pointed to the register for me to grab my post void receipt, which I did. Mind you, she is still talking sh!t, as I was walking out and I turn around said *&^% you ^%/$/. This is why I started to shop outside of the area. I noticed a huge change over the past 20 years how the quality of everything has gone down, from products, the level of filth in these stores and mainly the attitudes of the associates and managers. At the end of the day everything is about numbers. My transaction was about $100. I planned to come back to the store the next day to get the rest of the items that I spotted that would have cost me another $400. With my sales alone the store lost at a minimum of $500. With the behavior like hers and other customers experienced the same crap that I did, and decided not to spend any of their hard earned money at that store. If they lose customers who had intentions on spending about $500 at that location and they manage to piss off 2 customers a day. The store is losing $1,000 per day that can go upto $30,000 in loss sales per month which can cause the store to lose $360,000+ per year at a minimum because customers like myself choose not to shop there and it's an even more loss because I'm pretty sure that they have a high shrinkage rate as well. And this affect how many hours an associate can work per week. More work that an associate has to do because the store is short staffed, etc. I have been a customer of Ross since the late 1980's. The definitely lost a customer. Oh I asked the disrespectful manager for her name because she didn't have on a badge and she said Karen. But here is her associate #753313. As I look at the time stamp on my receipts the purchase and returned times are ONE MINUTE APART. I feel bad for the good people who works at this location who are under paid, struggling to get a decent amount of hours and are over worked when they do work because they are over staffed. read more

When I was still working in San Dimas, I would drop by this Ross to check out its latest trends especially clothes. I have to say the items were reasonably priced. I have bought a good closet full of clothes from Ross. I no longer work in San Dimas so I've stopped shopping here which is okay. I have now been shopping through Amazon instead. Anyway, Ross is still the place to find bargains. Check them out! read more

Clean store. They provide hand sanitizer. They don't let people try on clothes in store. They allow returns on merchandise. So here's the deal. They allow customers to purchase clothing take it home try it on at home, expose the item to their home and other individuals up to 30 days then allow them to return the item. However they don't allow customers to try things in store and put it back on the rack. So once we return things they go back on the rack anyways, so why pretend you are keeping ppl safe? I returned clothes, they went on the return rack and then associate put the clothes back on the rack for sale. They are pretending to keep ppl safe by saying we don't allow ppl to try on clothes in store because what if a customer tries on clothes and is sick and another person tries on the same clothes and they get sick. It's all for appearances. read more

I really like this they have a lot of cool stuff. I went there an hours s half before they close during holidays. The prevention guy kept annoying every 15 mins that they are closing soon, trying to rush the customers out. However when I went to checkout, he was too busy trying tot he cash register about "snapchats" and totally ignore me. Then when she finally decides to do her job....they continue about the same topic and thought it was funny to be making announcement every 15 mins..... *but I thought the workers are in a rush to way??.... read more

I really enjoyed shopping at this Ross store. This store is neat and clean. Employees here are pretty friendly, especially compared to the other Ross stores that I have been to around the area (Monrovia, & Azusa). There is an excellent selection of clothing in my size and for what I was looking for (dresses, dress pants, dress tops). The people working at the dressing room area were very friendly. Pricing for fashionable clothing at Ross is such a steal and my wardrobe is filled with colorful, body flattering outfits. I will most definitely will keep coming back to shop here. By the way, there is plenty of parking. This store is also located in the same plaza with Target, Dress Barn, Petco, Stein Mart (right off the 57 freeway). read more

Walked in and walked right out today. Slooowwww line. Given it 3 stars, however, because it is SOOO damn cheap for dresses, and sometimes you really score. For example, they will usually have Calvin Klein dresses in the clearance rack for 12.99. Nice, sheath dresses perfect for the office, or a daytime wedding. Their purses are a good value too, as compared to Macys or Nordies. If you have the time, patience, and willpower, you can find a good deal here. The better Ross, however, is located in Azusa, on Citrus and Rte 66. read more

This Ross is not one of the busiest in the area so it makes it the perfect one to come do your Returns at. I live in Rancho Cucamonga and love that store as it's a high volume store and has more trucks a week so therefore more merchandise coming in. As far as doing a return I prefer doing mine at this store as I work close by to this location and come right after work. read more

I had a bad experience today at this location because on an employ which i regret not getting her name. I walked out of the store humiliated and very upset and of course i did not but anything. She was stocking merchandise in the housewares area and she kept dropping the lids of pans on the floor, so obviously i had to check if the one i got was not broken so i open box and she screamed at me like if i were a little girl scolding me for opening the box she has has terrible customer assistance and she needs to be retrained. read more

I went to this Ross last night. Since I have frequented this Ross a few times over the years. Maybe 4-5 times. This Ross has a large selection of dresses and a fair amount of shoes as well. This Ross also has a large jewelry counter. On this occasion, I found 2 pairs of earrings. They were just gorgeous. Understated elegance to the max, but still very unique. Also picked up a long form fitting maxi dress with ruching. This location has an infinite amount of dresses to try on and the clearance rack has more items than most Ross locations... The lady helping me at the jewelry counter was so kind and humble, that I did not realize that she was the assistant manager (Gabriella) until I was checking out of the store. The cashier (named Kirsten) was so sweet, and had really good taste...well, according to me lol, she liked a lot of the stuff I found, it was so funny. She made check-out not-so-boring. I'll be going back, especially for the jewelry and impressive staff.... read more

You can always find a bargain at Ross. I was here late in the day and the store was pretty messed up from the full day of shoppers. There are times when the stores are low on inventory but I guess that depends on shipments. Will always be back again! read more

I went to Ross tonight and found 4 very nice dresses for Easter, I asked the workers to put the items on hold and that I would be back before 10:30p tonight I actually came back one hour later which was 9:30p the items that they had on hold for me we're totally gone I am so mad because I wasted all my time going back to the store for nothing and do you think the employees even care not even the manager I asked to see a manager and no one address me as being the manager I told the workers I would never go back to that store again and I would tell all of my family and friends never to shop at Ross in San Dimas poor customer service. read more

I don't have any complaints about the store itself. Its a typical Ross. I don't have high expectations except maybe a decent variety with decent service and for the most part I get this. I'm just wondering what happened to all around manners. Do the employees not feel it's necessary to hand a receipt to the customer after they've made a purchase and spent money there? The cashier didn't greet me, just the usual "next". She rung me up and handed me my bag but nodded toward the register and said "there's your receipt ". this was my first time at this location and after reading the other reviews I wasn't expecting what I experiences. in other reviews, they made the store seem dirty, etc etc... however when I went around 11 am the store was clean and the staff were pretty friendly. although they didn't have much options on what I intensionally went for, I did end up buying some other clothes, and left satisfied. read more

Very uncomfortable from the moment you walk in and a security guard (although nice & friendly guy) it's just a totally creepy feeling to have him greet you because your mind instantly goes to... "this place must have a high theft problem" ... then it's a mess! I felt depressed for the first time trying to shop! Clean up the store, get better products and make it an enjoyable experience for your customers! The rent must be outrageous and I cannot imagine you could be making money off that junk! This Ross USED to be great, not it's just blah. If you go on a busy day it's going to be dirty.
