SASKIA!! WAS THE GREATEST EMPLOYEE. I wanted to give her props with the survey they provided but I feel ita not enough and I couldn't comment my reasoning. There's a sale of $20 off shoes, so imagine how packed it was and out of the other employees she was hassleling the most as well as multi tasking. She was helping multiple people had a pen and paper in hand to write down everyone sizes of shoes and comes out all at one with all the shoes. Getting at least 6-8 ppls sizes at a time and was quick to get the shoes. Don't get me wrong the other employees did great as well but she stood out helping way more people and husseling, props girl! So I had two experiences here in the past few days. I went in to shop for Christmas presents and let me tell you that my experience was great! First of all, ALL of the staff wore their masks properly and kept a safe distance considering the pandemic. EVERYONE offered their help, which was a breath of fresh air. You literally could turn to any of the staff members at this location and they ALL were kind, charismatic, and VERY helpful! There was no line to pay, even though it was a busy night for them, which is a plus! I had to come back and exchange one of the pairs of shoes I had bought the night prior. Unfortunately, I had the last pair of that shoe, in that size. BUT, the kind lady who assisted me was extremely diligent in calling another store near me, to inquire if they had anymore of the shoe I was looking for. Luckily, they do! This staff member knew to get stuff done, alongside making cheerful conversation about gift giving during the holidays. I purchased a wallet a couple months back. Apparently it was defective underneath the mid section to put your cards etc. as the stitching came undone. Went into the store today and spoke with the manager Mike. I don't really use Yelp too much but for moments like this, it is absolutely worth it. Without hesitation, this guy went to the back to see if he had the same exact wallet that was sold to me and did an even exchange. Asked the lady if she could get me sizes , 2 times both wrong size , then argue that I said the wrong size, then went back to get it and got mad about it ( the fact I could hear her complain about me it's kinda awkward). Third time , still wrong size ... I'm like too scared of her . Just went up and paid for the wrong size anyway cuz I can't deal with bad customer service . I highly recommend this Vans location! The product selection is pretty good and the store is very clean and organized but what truly sets it apart is the service! I walked into the store feeling a bit intimidated and overwhelmed? Why, you ask? Well...I've never actually purchased a pair of Vans before. Yes, seriously. I felt silly and out of place walking in with my work clothes, which are very much "office" and not "skater" at all. As soon as one of the sales associates approached me, I instantly felt comfortable! I wish I remembered his name but I'm always the worst at that. He was not only super friendly and courteous, but extremely helpful as well. He took the time to understand exactly what I needed and made appropriate recommendations. When I walked into the store I was greeted by the employees which to me is very important, since I do the same where i work, so +1 for that. The store looked very nice and clean, another point for that. HOWEVER, once I began to look at the shoes and needed help, not ONE associate came to help. I stood there with the shoe in hand and as other people, or should i say PARENTS with their KIDS, came in the store the girl staffs went straight to them. Was I wearing my invisible coat that day? Anyways, I went up to a guy I think his name was Noah and he gladly helped me. They didn't have my size so he went to the back to check, and they didn't have any left. He told me he would call another store to check, awesome right, but once he went back he took a good while and I can hear him laughing and talking in the front. He then came out told me where they had an extra pair and just walked away. Ok? Overall the service wasn't that great, but Noah did help in some way so one point there. Outstanding customer service from everybody working on 8/6 at 2 PM, I went in there with an exchange and they didn't have my size in the color I wanted but they were running a special of buy one get one 50% off select styles, so the woman on shift (seemed to be the manager, unfortunately I didn't get her name) checked online if they had the size and was able to get me the size and the color I wanted while getting me out the door with a pair of shoes that I needed for work at 50% off. Even though I didn't leave with the size and color that I went for, I did leave with another pair of shoes that I'm able to use for work and the size and color that I did want of the other pair will be at my house in about two days, couldn't be happier with the service, it also helped that all of them seemed as if they were happy to be at work. A good attitude makes any experience better and I will only buy my vans from the Glendora store now. read more

I stopped in on 1/29 for two pairs of shoes at 8:45 pm. I choose these location over the mall locations because it's easier to access and I'm in and out in a timely manner. I originally went in for a specific pair for myself and for my toddler. They didn't have either style in our sizes but Kyle helped me find two different styles of shoes that I liked equally as much. Good customer service means having a thorough knowledge of your inventory, experience with your products, and being able to help customers make the best choices for them. ... Good customer service is treating customers with a friendly, helpful attitude, and Kyle possesses all of these qualities. Customer service was awesome! I think we drove them crazy because my grandson was totally crashed. By the time we finished (I hadn't even anticipated getting a pair for my youngest daughter-we were just along for the ride) I'd bought her a pair! Heck who can resist? They were on sale!
